It was ten wings and Philly egg rolls why does that take 50 minutes? We walked in this restaurant at 11:30am and it was so disgusting dirty that we turned around and walked out. The first thing we noticed walking in was the glass doors were all smeared up and gross. Then when we got inside immediately our feet were sticking to the floor and we were overwhelmed with a nasty smell. I went on a less busy day so I can't speak to wait times say on Saturday night. But the day and time I went, service was good. My waitress was prompt and nice. Tons of draft on tap but of course everyone knows that, so on to the food: What we had: - Printer's Ale Gutenberg's Hibiscus & Lime Gose (so good) - Printer's Ale Positive Image New England (not a fan) - Queso (great in the beginning but as it cooled it was very hard to dip into, but I guess that's every queso) - Bavarian Pretzel (holy shit this was so good) - Grilled BBQ Shrimp Taco (could use a better tortilla, filling was great) - The Hollywood Sandwich (got it grilled and it was really good) - Lemon Pepper Wings (seasoning and crispiness was perfect, the wings were kind of small for the price or maybe I'm just used extra large wings lol) - Korean Black Garlic (definitely did not taste like Korean black garlic at all. I visited this place on 02/07/2024. I requested crispy wings, after waiting 25 minutes I get the wings and they do not look like they were cooked. I sent them back and requested this order be to go. Got halfway out of the door and my fries are not there. Had to wait an additional five minutes on fries. This is ridiculous as a business. The community is what keeps your doors open. This is a newer location, with plenty of parking. Decor was nice and updated with about 20-30 60"flat screens throughout. Choose to sit on the patio outside, but when the wind picked up the manager KP refused to let the shade down. Stating they had to have it up during certain times of the year?! Server Amirah was friendly, but food took way too long to come out. She was holding her own with our party of 13, while receiving no help from the manager KP. I mean how long does it take to cook hot wings?! This seemed to be a general complaint when speaking to other patrons. The fries ended up cold while waiting so long. The GM Ken came out and stated he had no problem letting the shade down, also he would comp the kids meal that had hair in it. He couldn't explain why the manager KP gave us such a hard time. I ordered the Georgia Peach, which was one of the best mixed drinks I've had recently. Also ordered the buffalo hot 6 piece with fries. Wings weren't saucy at all, but waitress was good about bringing more out. Food was mediocre and so was the customer service from the manager KP. I love love love to come to Taco Mac! This location in McDonough is def one of my favorite spots. The wings are AMAZING my personal favorite is Hot/lemon pepper (it's the ATL in me) and also the Cajun voodoo magic! Omg that Cajun voodoo sauce got a hold on me lol also I love to get the chicken tinga nachos, the chicken BLT salad (I sub my chicken for shrimp) it's really good you won't be disappointed. It can get packed at night so if u have large party get there early! The drinks are soo good my favorite bartenders are Mackenzie, Kayla, and Chelsea they will def get you right! My go to drink is def a Long Beach and if you are more of a beer drinker they have soooo many options available for you to try! I promise you won't be disappointed ask them about "Brewuniversity" it's pretty cool. The restaurant and bathrooms are ALWAYS clean so go have a great time at Taco Mac tonight! Walked into restaurant at approx 5:10 p.m. and no one was at front desk so I proceeded to the bar. Sat down and the bar and observed 4 other customer (3 in the process of leaving), and 3 employees behind the bar talking with no acknowledgment. Initially I attributed it to them being young but as I observed them a little longer I realized that they simply did not care or they did not care. I am a taco Mac fan! Every time I come to Atlanta I eat at one at least 75% of the time! Never been at this location before it was my first time here! It wasn't crowded and of course they had the games going cause it was SUNDAY!!! Our server was Danielle and she was super sweet and we received our food in a decent wait time! I just recently cut out chicken, beef, and pork so it was hard not getting the roasted wings I normally get! But I tried the turkey burger with broccoli and it was amazing!
