There was a couple shrimp in there and didn't have that much flavour or juiciness! The strawberry extra jumbo margarita is great! I had 32oz for 13.50 and is well worth your price! A bit strong but does the trick! The jalapeño poppers were crunchy with nice filling as expected! Plenty of parking when we went for lunch and conveniently next to the abc and food lion! Service was great and not too loud or busy inside!

My granddaughter and I arrived 45 minutes earlier due to the snow my son was getting on the Maryland side. The young men there were fantastic and sat us - got us drinks and chips and salsa and my granddaughter wanted Queso dip. I let them know it would be a while before we ordered but they still kept checking on us to refill drinks and chips - great customer service. When the rest of our party got there they were quick to get drink orders and orders. I filled up on chips so I just opted for the Chicken enchilada soup. My son got the Chile Rellenos, DIL got the Nachos and granddaughter got chicken and rice. The food was decent. I'm from California and my type of "Mexican food" is very different than what is found here normally. Spice levels are not the same. Overall everyone enjoyed their food. Their customer service was amazing. I would recommend it for this area.

The meal was a comforting with traditional flavors highlighted by spicy salsas, perfectly toasted bolillo bread, and expertly prepared milanesa and tacos. Highly recommend the barbacoa, al pastor and Torta de Pollo milanesa.

From the outside, it doesn't look like much. Even when you walk in you find yourself wondering if this is just a fast food place or an actual restaurant. The ambiance isn't lacking, there is no ambiance to speak of. Another thing that hits you when you walk in is the heat. I can't imagine how hot it is in the cooking area given how warm it was in the front. They have fans going at high speed but it doesn't cut the heat from the cooking area. It's all open so I don't know if it would be a kitchen so much as a cooking space. This is the only bad I can think of to say. The food is AMAZING. You can tell that it is cooked with love and know how. I had the carnitas and the flavor was just so good. The amount of food they serve will not just fill you for your.visit, but you will have leftovers for days. Now to the staff. We only saw women in the front. These are the friendliest, sweetest group of VERY hard working women I have seen in a restaurant. There were just 3 and they were running around this very hot and crowded place with smiles and laughter. When we went to leave, they saw my mother struggle and two of them hurried over to help her. One took her arm, the other held the door. I defy you to find kindness like that in a fancy bougie joint! My advice, if you find yourself craving really good Mexican food, head to Maria Bonita Cantina...it will be the best meal you've had in a while!!!
