All 3 employees were standing outside smoking when we arrived at 8:35pm. We placed an order and the kid was rude. After placing an order and trying to pay, the kid said their card machine was down. We asked them to try our card- it worked. He then had to run outside to get the cook- who was still smoking. We got our food promptly, but were missing a taco. They argued with us, before noticing it on the counter and just handing it to us and closing the window behind them without an apology. Quite the experience! read more

I can't really comment on the food, because I ordered it for someone else. But I will say that the woman that took my order, LaShonda from Oklahoma (I'm sorry I probably spelt that wrong) was awesome. She had a beautiful smile, a sweet persona, and she was very kind to me. If this comes to your attention and you get to read it, I am the woman that thought you were my friend that I haven't seen in a year. You sounded just like her. And it made my heart happy. I'm not someone that really eats fast food but I would go back there and order a drink just so I could say hi to her. I ordered two Super Burrito combo meals. One without tomato due to allergy issue. The voice behind the speaker was talking so low I had to repeatedly told him I could barely hear him. After I paid at the window, I asked the worker to label which burrito did not have the tomato, which he acknowledged. I was pretty upset when we got home to find our order completely wrong! About what I expected. Had this once beer Billings and it was pretty meh. This time certainly better. Get the fresh ingredient vibe. Not a taco chain like Taco Bell, but it's faster and cheaper than Chipotle or Qdoba. Clean store. One table was dirty, crew didn't get a chance to wipe it down yet I'm sure. Salsa bar. Condiment section with all the spice levels you would expect. Nice touch that Taco Johns or Taco Time offers. Time is something I'm familiar with in the Seattle area. Taco Johns is more "western" inspired I've been told. Breakfast looks fairly hearty. Egg and has brown burritos with appropriate cheese and sausage or potatoes and bacon. Lunch/Dinner wise you have burritos and tacos. Nachos seem to be a new addition they are still fine tuning. Potatoes for a side and Chips with Guacamole or Queso. Pretty standard fare but they make everything fresh. May seem weird to some but it's not an assembly line situation to Taco Bell. (Love Taco Bell by the way, just saying it's different than most fast food Tex Mex/Mexico that people normally get.) Smaller menu but they do a few things very well (is the aim.) Desert consists of churros. Some mini donuts suspiciously like Taco Bell Cinnabon delites. Got a soft taco since it was Taco Tuesday. Bean and cheese burrito that was tasty. Wish it was grilled but hit the spot. Don't feel I'd ever come here for dinner but on a lunch break the options are price are exactly right. read more

Not great. If you have lots of time to wait to order through the drive through. Then come here. If you don't have much time, like your lunch break or grab something to go on your way somewhere, then don't stop here. Takes to long to get through the drive through. Maybe I should have went inside?? Not impressed. 15 min so far and only moved one car. You know they are not making the food from scratch!! read more

I was here to pick up a door dash the employees are extremely slow after waiting 20 mins they tell me I have to get back in the drive thru line and refuse to make an order they should have already had ready. While waiting a customer Said they ran out of ice tea. The employee dumped out the ice and using the same used customer cup scooped ice from their ice box. That is unsanitary especially with covid. If you got sick after eating here that's probably where you got it. I would report them. read more

We were staying at the Hampton Inn which was next door and were going to watch university of Alabama football that afternoon, so we went thru the drive-thru and got a six pack of crunchy and soft tacos. It was a perfect take out for us. I personally liked the soft tacos but it was all good. The tater tots were really good! Not sure how we got tater tots but I think it came with the 6 pack. Wow, it never changes. Don't know if this is favorite fast food location but fits the need for a quick meal.

The service was friendly and prompt. My food was prepared and served within minutes and was just as tasty as I remembered from 15 years ago at a different location. Being from the south, this regional gem was my first quick dinner when traveling back to the area after so long. I wish we had Taco John's back home. They put Taco Bell and Del Taco in a lower bracket, in my honest opinion. read more

I eat at this location often and everyone has always been polite and friendly. They always get my order right and ready quickly.

Both the food and service here are deplorable, even worse than the taco bell in town. If you're going anywhere for food make sure you don't even look at this place. It should be shut down as a health and sanity hazard with how bad it is. I ordered potato oleys and they were half frozen and half burnt. I will never set foot inside another taco John as long as I live. read more
