Not sure how you can mess up tacos but they did. It's trying to be like a chipotle but nothing seems to go well together. The corn didn't have any flavor. The rice was soggy. The tortillas broke apart on our tacos. The all pastor was fatty. The carnitas was probably the most flavorful of all these bland meats. I'm sorry but when my 4 year old says it's disgusting and can't even eat carnitas because there extremely greasy and spicy that's not good. Pork carnitas sat in grease pretty sad that it even gets more than one star. Store bought flour tortillas just make a taco here taste worse. If you want a real street taco this is not the place to go. Sadly you have to travel to Monroe or an authentic Mexican place for a taco. do yourself a favor and go else where. Freaking AMAZEBALLS Quesadilla with all the fixings. The portions run large so you may want to bring company, or expect to bring home a doggie bag. 5 stars from my kids - they absolutely love this place - I enjoy the burritos too. It can get a little pricey once you add a soda for each family member. I miss the old location. The new spot is in the crazy dunkin donuts parking lot and the dining room is a bland square room. Get there early in the evening. They often run out of popular meat choices. read more

Pros? Pretty decent, fresh food made exactly how you want it. I get the kids size nachos & it's really good, enough for an adult. Cons? Pricey. New location has terrible parking. I'm not sure how to rate this place... The food was good...we enjoyed it. The service left a lot to be desired. It's basically a Mexican subway...'walk down the line and tell them what to put on your taco/burrito/etc.' The music was so incredible loud (at lunch time) and the girl behind the counter and I were about the same height (short) so the counter blocked her words I asked her to repeat herself a few times getting on my toes to read her lips. She was flat out rude about repeating herself, rolled her eyes at me like I was stupid. Then, I asked for guacamole and she said no and moved on...Ok wait what? I will pay extra if that's the issue but I just got no. Then I went to pay with a different person and she asked if I got guac...well no actually I didn't even though I asked for it. They need to work on their customer service skills b/c the food is good and there is great potential there but I'd never return b/c of that rude woman behind the counter. read more

I am a frequent costumer of Taco Hombré and make orders with them often. Most of the days we order on line or over the phone the orders are missing one or two items even though the missing items are on the receipt. Today for the second time in a row I ordered a chicken burrito and a veggie quesadilla and got a chicken burrito with no chicken in it and a veggie quesadilla with just cheese. When calling simply to ask for my money back, the owner, management and employee that was on the phone with me were EXTREMELY rude. Insinuating that WE weren't smart enough to order correctly even though the receipt that THEY gave us listed very item that we ordered correctly...they lost a weekly customer today. I agree with another review that the food and service has gone downhill. Loved this place back in the summer, but now the salad I used to get that was great was mediocre at best. Very little romaine, very little salsa and a huge glop of Guacamole on top of it. When I questioned the amount of lettuce the blond girl replied with attitude "that's how it always is". used to be very good, but lately the burritos have become smaller with less meat, especially when prepared by newer employees. Moody people behind the counter make this a hit or miss. IF one of the two gentlemen who evidently manage/own the business are present, things run well and the burritos are fine. We come here often as it's another takeout option over run of the mill pizza places in Warwick. My reviews range from 3.5 to 4.5 stars depending on who is working behind the counter. Some are very skimpy with what they put in the burritos, salads or quesadillas while others do a much better job preparing. They need to do more quality control. They also need a productivity review as sometimes they don't work efficiently at all. Maybe that will improve when they move into their new facility. Overall the food is very tasty. We will continue to go and hope the new facility helps them out with the prep time. read more

Stopped here because the american grill next door was closed during construction. It was busy but still pretty fast, fresh and tasty. It is right in the middle of town. Fair prices, fast, fresh, and delicious. I had a shreaded chicken burrito which was great. My brother had the nachos which seemed to be made with cheese whiz. Now my brother eats almost everything so he did enjoy them quite a bit but I'm not sure I would. Aside from the nachos go for it. I can't wait to go again and try some other things on the menu. read more

We love Taco Hombre already,but this review is specifically for their catering. This is the second time we have opted for a taco bar from TH instead of cooking. Couldn't be happier. Our parties are known for great home made food so catering is a bit of a gamble but our guests absolutely loved it! This is my favorite restaurant in Warwick. Everything is very fresh and it is one of the best places for miles for lunch. It is slightly pricey but it is well worth it. I always get three soft tacos made to order! You can create your tacos like making a sandwich at subway, and control every aspect of it. They give you just enough to satisfy and the service is very good. The churros are also great too! read more
