Ordered several tacos for dinner tonight ( fish, pollo asada, carne asada, and carnitas). They were all delicious with all fresh toppings. The fish was our favorite followed by the carnitas, and carne asada. The tacos were very filling. Will definitely be back! read more

I stopped by and ordered some food to go on Tuesday. The gal that took my order was very friendly. I preferred 2 Carne Sada Tacos, Chicken taco salad, and taquitos (rolled tacos). We enjoyed everything but it would be nice to have the option of Chicken rolled tacos. I am very picky about steak but I loved the tacos. The salsa is a little different but the green has great flavor just not spicy enough. Definitely will go for fast Mexican food. read more

What the heck happened here? New cook? New management? This used to be my favorite place for good fish tacos and last night was a disaster. The fish tacos has a teeny tiny piece of burned fish, barely edible. They topped it with iceberg lettuce instead of the cabbage, then some pico. It was terrible. The beans looked delicious tho, so I dug into those and got the flavor of 3 day old sour washrag. I thought maybe the cheese was bad but it was the actual beans. They were somehow sour. I wondered if I was being weird so I offered my husband a bite and he just smelled them and agreed they were sour. Maybe bad sour cream? Idk what ingredients they use in beans so I can't be sure what went wrong here but I won't be going back. Sorry guys, nice people here but no clue how to cook and you're actually making some BAD food with rotten ingredients. Check dates on your ingredients, iceberg lettuce doesn't go on fish tacos, don't obliterate fish til there's nothing left. read more

Went in based after checking website and seeing the great prices - $3.55 for a bean & cheese burrito is great when you have a crew of kids to feed and it's the one thing everyone can agree on to it. Get there and it's $4.99 - at Joyride in downtown Gilbert kids can get a burrito, drink, chips and salsa and an experience - even if ordered to go. With a crew of kids things adds up and when meeting up with friends with kids we're always thinking of experience and value. To go at $3.55 a burrito would have been a dream as that would be under $20 with tax for 5 burritos. If you buy 5 at $4.99 that's over $25 before tax . Business is business. I'm torn on whether to continue giving Los NOT our favs anymore of our business as they have horrible customer service and inconsistent pricing for extras like adding pico. If you'd honor your website prices you may have new customers. As a mom who buys burritos for a small crew of kids at least 20x a year, a $20 min order is $400 a year, that's real money. Would love to see more accurate pricing and will be happy to visit again if you become better priced and actually honor web pricing when told. As a business owner I can't advertise to my potential customers the price of my basic service is $50 per my website then when they visit tell them it's actually $60, and that I'm sorry I didn't update my website. I sent my son in a couple times to pay and I thought the bill was high or maybe he pocketed some dollars, now I know why things didn't add up. Not cool. read more

My new favorite Mexican food joint. Portions are large and we have had tamale, enchilada, hard beef taco, Chile relleno, beans and rice. All were delicious. Highly recommend. This is small place with order window and a few tables. I recommend phone order and pick up. read more

Ordered a vegi burrito in red sauce and watched them make it. Being generous... large taco shell: $0.10, 1/2 cup refried beans: $0.25, 1 cup lettuce: $0.20, 1/2 cup cheese: $0.50, 1/2 cup quac sauce: $0.50, 1/2 cup red sauce: $0.25. There were a few chopped onion pieces, but basically that's all it was. Total estimated cost = $1.80 (probably less). They charged me $6.50 plus tax. Yeah, there's labor, packaging, utilities, overhead, etc. But a 350% markup?! And, it was only slightly warmed and not very flavorful. You can do a LOT better. read more

I ordered a breakfast burrito, the gal that was supposed to be making my food was back in the back on her cell phone, She put gloves on, started to mop the floor and then the guy told her hey you need to make this burrito so she decided to not change her gloves and proceeded to make my burrito with those nasty hands from mopping the floor. This is the only place I want Mexican food from!! I literally stumbled upon this place and now within a month of discovering it have been there 4 times with a massive to go order. The food is beyond fresh and the taste is amazing. People that work/own the place are super accommodating and just awesome. Price is perfect. Portions have me force feeding myself because it's that good!! I selfishly want them too advertise more because I know I will be a repeat customer as long as they are there. LOVE THIS PLACE! The restaurant is small, a few tables and an open window to the kitchen. Not a "fine dining experience" but the FOOD IS DELICIOUS! Have had their combos... beans and rice were top notch. The ala carte menu is excellent. The BEST tacos I've ever had and their tamales are perfection! I ordered a tamale ala carte and it was HUGE, placed on a small bed of rice, smothered in sauce and shredded lettuce...a meal in itself for $3.05! My husband and I really love this restaurant and it has become our "go to" Mexican restaurant in the Warner and Gilbert Rds area. Hope it flourishes and leads to more of these great little restaurants! Update: have been to Tosino's multiple times and the food quality and taste are CONSISTENT. Past experience has been that many of these independent restaurants lack consistency, but this restaurant remains 5 STARS for us! Portions are huge. We ordered take-out the other day and got six meals out of a $26 order. Can't beat it! read more

Unfortunately, I have to give this place a low rating. The taco salad was bland and served at room temperature. . I never realized ground beef could be ground to a minuscule amount. The restaurant did not have cheese for our order nor did they have enough sour cream. These are two key ingredients to Mexican food. My wife found her new favorite chorizo breakfast burrito. Great value. Good balance of ingredients. My chile verde burro was also excellent. Service was quick and pleasant. Restaurant seats maybe 25-30 people and was very clean. Salsas were very good but all had a spice to them. I especially liked the house salsa. Excellent food for fast casual. Far better quality than Los Fav's or Burrito Express and just a $1 or so difference in price. If they had a drive thru I bet this place would be extremely busy. read more

The food has potential but as soon as you get that after taste of chlorine filtrated rice because they obviously use tap water to cook with...I won't be going here again. My measure of a good restaurant is using filtered water to drink and to cook with. It's simple to place a filtration system with minimal costs. read more

Been going here regularly for the last month or so...food is good and service is ok and all but literally 30 minutes ago my son and I almost threw up because of the food I took to go (2 soft adobada tacos) had hair in it! As we were finishing the whole meal my son noticed a long black strand of hair in his taco oh god ! Unacceptable! When me and my fiance first found this place we thought it was amazing and that the food tasted great. Then the next time we went the order we got was messed up. We thought, eh whatever people make mistakes and we rolled with it. Then the NEXT time after that I phoned in the order. I picked it up, drove all the way home and not only was I missing part of my order but the other things I actually gotten were wrong! (Such as we asked for one of the burritos to have the sides of beans and rice which it had none and was ONLY a burrito. And for my food I asked for all beans on the side and no rice. And of course instead of beans they did the complete opposite and put ALL rice.) So I drove all the way back and the crew just seemed completely unapologetic. When I got back home after they fixed my order it was clear that the chef that had to fix the order was pissed because the food was carelessly slopped into the containers. To top it all off me and my fiance gave them yet another chance today. He phoned in the order, went to pick it up and yet again when he got there they had it wrong. He asked for meals(with rice and beans) and yet again they only gave us burritos. He also ordered a cheese quesadilla which they charged him for yet didnt make or give to him until he asked. Somehow the guy ringing up the food seemed confused when he asked for what was clearly on the receipt and didnt know what he was talking about even though he was the one that took the order on the phone. After trying to explain to the guy at the counter that he had wanted the burritos with the sides, and the guy STILL didnt understand what he was wanting he ended up just taking the food as is and leaving. And low and behold when he got back not only did he not get what he had tried to order they also put pico de gallo in his burrito which he explicitly said he didnt want and guacamole in mine which he again explicitly said he didnt want when he ordered. So to summarize, honestly you have a better chance at getting what you actually want by just going to a Filibertos than to this location. If I could give them 0 stars I would. read more
