Need quick food, here u go. They upsell the guac, sour cream like crazy. I'd eat it if the mark up wasn't crazy. 50 cents for a dab would be realistic. They go heavy on rice beans and lattice. The old motto of "We roll 'Em Fat..." made up by long-ago manager....well yeah, back then when they cropped up, it was FAT.... now...HAHAHA, might as well pretend you just had a partial meal and wasted a little under $10 bucks. We recently got married, and had the owners cater our wedding. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!! They included nice plates, napkins, the works... not just low quality paper products, really nice dinnerware (of course still disposable)!! I was sooo impressed with their customer service! When we went in to put a deposit down for the wedding food, they comped our lunch! Great owners - they deserve the business and they do an amazing job catering! I will say, however, that if you have them cater, you should ask to take the leftovers home... I forgot and we had so much extra food leftover it would have been nice! Plus the groom and I were STARVING at the end of the night and could have used a couple tacos! Overall, great couple! They have great customer service and really go the extra mile for you. read more

They catered our wedding a few years ago and it couldn't have been better, plenty of food and service please consider them for a wedding event you can't go wrong. Normally, with most employees, I have great food and great service. However, on Sunday night Dec. 18th, I had an older lady serve me and I was less than satisfied. Granted a large group of people came in behind me and she started hurrying through my order, but never should any employee serve one person less to please another. I asked for her to drain the meat, and she didn't even bother which made all of my food wet and sloppy. My burritos were rolled half ass and all of the juice ran out into and everywhere all over the outside of my burrito. I also learned that the little ity bity scoop of cheese they added when I asked for extra cost me a flipping dollar! I also asked for no guacamole and extra sour cream. Since both come with the order, I assume no guac and extra sour cream would equal out to zero. Not the case with this woman. Normally they dont charge me for that. Some consistency would be great because I dont plan on paying 33 dollars for two freaking burritos and two quesadillas again. sorry, but they have faltered my future business. read more

I was not very impressed with this Taco Del Mar. I go their because I usually love this chain but I have just never been happy here. They really try to put as little ingredients as they can in your burrito. Plus the staff just isn't that friendly. Compared to the one in smokey point and especially the one on 196th in lynwood (which is the best taco del mar the world has ever seen) this one just doesn't stack up. read more

As far as a build-your-own burrito fast food place goes, Taco Del Mar is #1. My husband and I have loved their burritos for years, and after trying other places, nothing compares. The meat is seasoned perfectly, especially the carnitas/pork. But also the refried beans, and rice in the burrito are wonderful. I love to get my burrito with pico and hot sauce and jalapenos, but you can also order it with only a mild hot sauce or none at all. For the taste, size, and price, you can't beat Taco Del Mar for an awesome BYO burrito. read more

About a year ago my wife and I went to the Taco Del Mar on Hewitt Ave in Everett, WA because we had a coupon for free taco day, but when we got there and presented our coupon for a free taco they said, "Oh no, that was only good until 5:00pm" and we got there about 6:00pm. Nowhere on the coupon did it say anything about having to use the coupon before 5:00pm. My wife and I felt like we were misled and decided to leave without buying anything. We should have learned our lesson from our first experience but we went there today with a coupon for the platter that according to the coupon, was $5.00 after 5:pm. We got there well after 5:00pm and when we asked about it the server said that the meat quesadilla wasn't included even though the platter with the quesadilla was on the regular menu for $6.49. We thought that this coupon was very misleading and the coupon was of no value at all because if the platter that is on their regular menu is $6.49 which includes the meat quesadilla, then the coupon is worthless because with the coupon, the $5.00 that you'd spend on the platter does not include the quesadilla!, so how is this a good deal? It's a rip off. This particular Taco Del Mar on Hewitt Ave in Everett lures you in with a coupon for something and once you get there, there is always some catch and you never get the savings with the coupon that you think you're going to get. So instead we decided to get the buy one, get one free taco salad that came with a free drink. We still ended paying $11.00 for the buy one/get one free taco salads and one free drink with the coupon. So once again, we were ripped off! If it costs $11.00 for buy one GET ONE FREE taco salad, what would two taco salads have cost at regular price with NO COUPON?!! $22.00??? I probably should mention that we did ask for guacamole and sour cream and all we got were two very small spoonfulls! that probably was where the extra charge came from. I remember several years ago when Taco Del Mar was a good restaurant, the portions were fairly large and they never had stupid misleading coupons that saved you no money. The one on Hewitt Ave in Everett sucks! I'll NEVER go back! read more
