While McDonald's is not a place I purposely seek out, by happenstances, I end up there sometimes. This time, I was trying to use two free fries coupons. Turns out they are expired. Doh! Well, we were already there. They had a special of buy 1, get 1 for $1 for selected items. We bought two McChicken sandwiches and two small fries because of the sale. The fries are as expected though not the hottest. The McChicken has minimum discernable meat. These McDs are all utilitarian ambiance these days. We order at the kiosk and talk to no one. Terrible McDonald's, absolutely one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. We came in, ordered food, everything was normal, we weren't causing any problems. And then out of nowhere this situation happened: " ." Yes, exactly that. An employee who clearly wasn't working at all, just sitting and watching reels on her phone, decided to kick us out for no reason. Is this supposed to be acceptable behavior? Instead of doing her job, she was on her phone, completely ignoring customers, and then suddenly acting rude and aggressive. No explanation, no respect, no professionalism whatsoever. The staff attitude was horrible, and it felt like no one there cares about customers or basic service standards. The food itself is nothing special, but after being treated like this, it doesn't even matter. The whole experience ruined our mood. Maybe if it was only one time it would be okay. But three four times is ridiculous. I like McDonald's food actually but they have problems when you order when you order delivery. Even though I write and how to deliver the food to me they always either don't deliver it or leave my food out in front of my door. That pisses me off more than you can know. When I spend 30 to $45 for food, I expect to be able to eat it. You can't get a hold of their doordash drivers on the number they provide you and when you try to call McDonald's itself they say they can't do anything about this because you know I don't know they're not tied to doordash or something like that. So in the end I normally just lose my money and don't get any food. The other day I was leaving for work and I wanted to order my boyfriend some food from McDonald's so that he would have some lunch when I left and same thing happened we waited waited waited and no food. And when I called I got the same old same old no answer McDonald's knows nothing and it's just about making me not want to order anymore of McDonald's food. They should get this right. I just asked for refresh McChicken's Fatima was working in the register. She was very kind and requested fresh McChicken's. Whoever the shift lead was was not happy that I asked for a new McChicken's so they made me wait and requested a receipt even though I came through the drive-through two minutes earlier, they then gave me two more McChicken's. Reviewing fast food restaurants is weird. Everyone roughly knows what to expect when they go to a McDonald's, so when I review one, I just compare it to my expectations and if they surprised/delighted me. This McDonald's got a little busy right after a hockey game. So, it was packed and a little slow (but that's expected - they probably went from 0 to 60 in like 10 mins). However, I ordered in the drive thru, paid, got my food, and it was pretty good when I got it home. I think they renamed their chicken sandwich "McCrispy", which I found a little funny - so, I took a pic of the menu. I got that - the "McCripsy with bacon and ranch". It was good - pickles, ranch, and bacon on a fried chicken sandwich. American gluttony/excess at its finest... but I'd just been drinking (again... hockey game) and this really hit the spot. The fries were McDonald's fries - good structure, too consistent, non-food-like, but tasty somehow. Kids got nuggets - they liked them, of course. Again - 5 standard shapes of nuggets (everyone's favorite is the "boot" shaped one)... non-food-like... but it's like fried, salty mattress foam that you dip in ranch and it's somehow good. Food Science™. One unfortunate thing about this location is that there are sometimes homeless people around. Can't really fault the business, but it can be a little nerve wracking when someone's having an episode right near the drive thru. November 10, 2025...I ordered curbside delivery through the app. My order was missing an item which I discovered when I got home. I live ten minutes away and only went to this location because I was in the area. I called the restaurant as directed in the app. The woman on the phone was horrendously rude, talked over me, and told me I could come back to the restaurant to get my missing item. So that would be an additional 20-25 minutes which no one in their right mind would do. I asked to be refunded in the app for the missing item (a reasonable request). She continues to talk over me on the phone and chastise me. It ended up in a shouting match with me asking for her name and to speak with the manager MULTIPLE times. She wouldn't disclose her name nor allow me to talk to a manager and hung up on me. I called back and she continued with her rude behavior. She said the manager wouldn't be in until 12:00 pm. She said, "I'll probably get fired and I don't care." And then she hung up on me again. What the f*** kind of customer service is this? When I called back later and spoke with a manager (Sylvia), she was told me she could help me and I suggested a face-to-face meeting and she said she'd be there until 4:00. What manager works a four-hour shift from noon to 4:00? I asked for contact information for the owner and she said she'd didn't have it. What in the actual f***? I went in and she was sitting at a dining table. I asked her why she allows her employees to prevent customers from taking to a manager. When I disclosed that I was recording the conversation, she said I couldn't do that. I explained that I can because I disclosed it upfront. She got up and said to leave or she'd call the police. I told her I wished her luck because she's going to need it. This isn't over. I have recordings of the phone conversations as well. I have already contacted corporate, and I am in the process of contacting the owner via public records. This establishment needs to be wiped clean of these employees, and then hire and TRAIN new ones in how to treat customers. Absolutely appalling. Online reviews say the same types of things about these employees and managers. The address of the owner (Bold Leasing Company LLC) for this location is 18017 157th Ave. NE, Woodinville, WA 98072. This brings you to a residential home. Something shady is going on here. I purchased a quarter pounder with cheese on September 30, 2023. When I arrived home, I was eating my food, unfortunately in the dark while I was on my phone, so I was not paying attention to my food. I realize something was off, but I thought it was just me based off of texture and taste. I just happened to look down at my food and seen that my hamburger was raw in the middle. I called the store and asked to speak with a manager immediately. The manager said that she was the manager and her name was Ellie. I explained the situation as she told me for future reference "quarter pounders always come like that they're in the middle of purchase on myself and every time I get them they are like that pink in the middle. Just so you know, for the next time they are always pink in the middle" I told her no at first I was calm and after she handed me that crap I told her bullshit I've been a manager at McDonald's and quarter pounders are not supposed to be pink in the middle. We got into an argument in regards to this situation and subject. She kept trying to tell me I'm just trying to let you know that they're always pink in the middle and I kept trying to tell her no she was wrong she was lying, and she was wrong to the point where I finally got pissed off. And yes I was cursing at her Because her justification was so off, I could not believe it I was in awe of what she was saying. I am formed her was going to go back down there. And then she proceeded to tell me then come down here and bring it. I kept asking for the store, directors phone number and the store managers phone number. I was told by Ellie that she couldn't give me that because "I can't find it". "I don't know where it is." Not that she ever got off the phone with me to go look for it because she didn't. I heard no rustling of paper no indication as she was looking for said number. I was also told by her. "What are you gonna do?" that's pretty much when I said I was going, I'm going down there. Thought about it and decided against it better to deal with this in the proper channels, which is this called the health department this morning, I will be proceeding to do a review online with pictures then I will be getting in touch with my lawyer. This meal cost $33.93 which was not the issue. The issue was acknowledging that the food was raw. Sorry I made a mistake or sorry we made a mistake bring in the proof we will refund the money and if you would like to change your order, we would be more than happy to do that for you, instead I was met with rudeness and excuses. Moving forward to September 1, 2023 I called the store back at 8 AM I gave time for shift change I gave time to speak with a different manager. My first question was can I please have your name so I could know who I'm speaking with said manager refused to give me their name. My next question was I need your store manager store Director and the owners numbers, phone numbers to be exact. They refused to give it to me. I understand taking up for your coworker, especially if you were not present and have no idea what happened and you were only facing what you heard from your coworker. Been to this location twice in the last week, once in afternoon and second time today at noon. Both times tried to order a salad, same story we have no salads! Horrific, lived next to it for years and it has just gone downhill. In an attempt to stop the homeless from using the bathroom they have locked it. All that means is now the staff doesn't check the bathroom and it is constantly overflown with water that obviously comes from the toilet. The cleanliness is horrific as well in the rest of the place. Even though we don't live there anymore, it is the halfway point of a regular trip we make.
