First off - the about this business $15 offer is not valid anymore. Bait and switch for $20 now - cash only. Drinks are way marked up. .99 iced tea is almost $2. Cheese steak was bland. Very very small portion for $13. No one was there. Very bad sign. It is in a pretty sketch part of Everett as well. This is not a shop ran like a regular Philly shop. I have no clue who "Erwin" is but this is more like a taco stand approach. Tables were dirty. Sat down to refuse at the table. Others were the same. Erwin's serves a darn good Philly cheesesteak. The beef tastes great, and the jalapeños are fresh and have a great kick. My only complaints are that they went too light on the cheese and mushrooms, and the roll was good, but not great. Service was fast and friendly. My boyfriend picked up the food. It is located inside a small plaza next to a small grocery store. So, there are some parking spots. I don't need to park on the street. We had A4 and A8. Both are good. Being a PA native in WA, one of the things I missed most was a good cheesesteak. Erwin's has been my favorite so far and never disappoints. The bread is firm enough to hold the weight of the steak, onions, peppers and cheese but soft enough to easily bite into. They have plenty of options to choose from but I like the classic best. It's not whiz, but it satisfies! (Just realized that they may have whiz based on the menu on Yelp!) For a side, I either choose the garlic fries or the onion rings. What a great place to swing by especially if you're heading to a game at Funko Field nearby. I got the mushroom, onion, pepper cheese steak and the flavors were amazing! Tender and thinly sliced steak topped with creamy melted cheese (it's hot!) served in a soft and warm roll. What also stood out about this small shop was the cleanliness - from the tables and chairs to the floor to the bathrooms, all spotless! I got the most popular cheesesteak on the menu which has tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, chopped green bell pepper, white American cheese, and of course seasoned ribeye. Absolutely delicious! I forgot to order the daily special which includes a drink but Erwin was cool about it and gave me a Coke anyways. Erwin runs the counter very efficiently and is very friendly. Well it's Friday night and my wife doesn't want to cook dinner so she calls me and asks the question what do you want me to pickup for you? I decided on Erwin's Philly cheese steak for a change and I have to say that I've found a new place that I'll go back to. After checking out the menu online I decided on Erwin's Bahama cheese steak along with an order of the garlic cheese fries. Now when I tried the garlic cheese fries taste wise they were good although the fries themselves while not undercooked were kinda soft/soggy but they ate fine. Now the Bahama cheese steak didn't disappoint from the first bite you get everything EVERYTHING ok and it's a savory bite lots of different meats. All said and done it was a enjoyable meal I was able to finish both fries and cheese steak but I will say the portions were generous. read more

Friends told us this place was great, and Yelp seemed to verify that, so we decided to give it a shot. We were starving after a morning of running errands, and Erwin's came through big time. I had #9, with peppers, onions, and shrooms, wife had #2 I think, and the kid had the Buffalo wrap. We were all happy, though the wrap needed more chicken. I was looking for a quick lunch stop that wasn't typical fast food. Erwin's fit the bill. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Credit cards are accepted. Total time from ordering to completion was about 12 minutes. Not bad timing at all. Indoors is sparse and simple. Erwin's offers a variety of cheese-steaks as well as a kid's menu. Menu items are à la carte so lunch/dinner can add up real quick. I ordered the chicken cheese-steak deluxe for $8.99: chicken, onions, mushrooms, green bell pepper, lettuce, tomato and white American cheese on a hoagie roll. The sandwich was about 8" and generously packed with the above mixture. The bun wasn't toasted like I would have preferred. Toasting the bun also helps to minimize sogginess. The chicken was ground rather than the standard thinly sliced so the texture threw me off a bit. Overall taste was delish though. I placed my order as a to-go order. My sandwich was packaged nicely and was pleasing to the eye when I arrived home. Well done Erwin's. Staff members were friendly, enthusiastic and excited out their products. Erwin's Philly Cheese Steak is absolutely hands down the best cheese steaks I have found in the Pacific northwest since moving here 3 years ago. I have tried every cheese steak I could find out here and these are the only ones I have had that were good cheese steaks. Everywhere else seems to try and put a little twist on it, or use fancy bread, or the steak is cut weird. This is the real deal. They even have whiz if that is your thing, but i always go with the classic american. I was born in Philadelphia and can assure you anyone on here claiming these are no good or "aren't authentic" have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. Its more expensive here than I am used to, but the cost of living here is so much more expensive than the east coast that these are about in line with that. The lady that claims these aren't real cheese steaks because she "lived in philadelphia" probably only ever had Pat's & Gino's which are tourist traps with terrible cheesesteaks, scumbag owners, and are not representative of what real cheese steaks in Philadelphia are like. The steaks served at Erwin's are exactly like the ones sold in mom and pop pizza & sandwich shops all over Philadelphia. Even walking into the restaurant itself was like going into one of the spots back home. If this is what you're looking for, this is the spot. Not Bill's Off Broadway, not Calozzi's in Georgetown.
