You can find some pretty good tacos here in Omaha. This place has good stuff going on. I especially liked their breakfast nachos, and their queso dip. Good stuff for sure! Our server said both Mulas and Taco Co house the same chef, which makes sense considering the similarity between the queso (yes, I like cheese). They also have super tasty shot options. I got one that tasted like Capt'n Crunch and Apple Jacks. The decor in the restaurant is awesome too. It is located in what used to be an old bank. I can't say enough good things about this establishment and the people that work there. We had a reservation for 15-18 people at another restaurant in Benson for our daughter's 21st birthday . We showed up and they did not have our tables reserved (even though they were made 2 weeks ago and we had an email confirmation). We walked into Taco Co. and spoke to Bailey and told her the situation. Even though they were extremely busy, she told us that she would make room for our party so that we could celebrate with our daughter and friends.. She gave us a timeline, made a suggestion about where we could go until our table was ready, and even held our centerpiece for us, which was very much appreciated. Once we were seated, we had an amazing night. Ryan, our waiter, was TERRIFIC, fast service, friendly and a lot of fun! Food and drinks were fantastic and everyone had a great time. A pleasant addition to Benson! I love the atmosphere! Just says come, eat and relax, have fun! The lanterns from the ceiling and the swings just for example ! The staff was friendly and attentive. Our waitress also knew the tacos and what her favorites were which I appreciate. If they have ate it and tried it why should I? We had some chips and salsa to start. I could have made a meal of that! The tortillas were warm, salty deliciousness!!! I also got the chicken taco and steak taco. They are a bit puffy like California Taco but more like a taco pocket. I preferred the steak over the chicken. It maybe I was already slightly full of the amazing chips and salsa! I also got one of their signature margaritas with the popsicle. Cute. Had the chance to stop into this renovated bank the other day. Really enjoyed it. Packed on a Friday night. Really enjoyed the décor, atmosphere and staff. Rudest staff and worst service Ive had at any restaurant- EVER. This is supposed to be a full service restaurant- but on a Saturday night at the stroke of 10pm (closing time) , they were not only turning guests away at the door, they flipped on the bright lights in the dining area, shut off the music, and pressured the guests- who still had food on their plates and full drinks- out of the restaurant ...at 10:10pm! On a SATURDAY NIGHT. I mean, not even the snootiest restaurants in NY & LA take their guests for granted like that and shoo them out the door because the staff has plans later. They must really not need the money or the business because that is possibly the worst display of "hospitality" since the word was invented. I mean I wasn't expecting The 4 Seasons or anything; I know its 'just tacos', but why even offer a full service dining experience if the employees don't want to wait on guests on a Saturday night? My advice to diners: Skip this hipster vanity project and find a taco truck somewhere. Hell, you'd probably get treated better at Taco Bell. read more

My friend and I went here for the first time last night, and we loved it! It has a really fun atmosphere, and a cute outdoor patio area in the back! Our server Carrie was great! We both had the carnitas and chicken tacos, which were way more delicious than we expected. I thought they were good without the taco sauce, but my friend said it made them pop. I'll definitely try it next time! The queso and chips were really yummy. You can definitely tell the chips were fried in-house. So crunchy and good! They aren't following any COVID regulations for seating, so if you're not comfortable with that I'd definitely suggest getting to-go. read more

My bill was 76 bucks but when I checked my transactions next day it showed $103 was charged!! We checked out this place on a very rainy Tuesday evening and there was a wait for tables. Obviously Taco Co has become a hit with the neighborhood. We were seated very quickly at a table that actually had a porch swing of sorts. Pretty cool. The decor is amazing. It's a fun, sociable atmosphere. Not a place to go if you are a tuck yourself in a corner person. We got chips, salsa and guacamole. Because I have the palate of a 12 year old-I just ate the warm super delicious and addictive chips. We were visited by a manager for a chat and that was nice. We waited a long time to order the food-to the point that we had to ask to order. There may have been some confusion, as he thought we were waiting for other people. Other than that the service was pretty good. Ordered two chicken tacos (prepared for my 12 year old palate) and they were very good. Large fluffy tacos with chicken and cheese. There are some of these style tacos in town that I may like a bit better, but these were up there. Overall it was a good experience and the price is right.
