So, when you order beans from Taco Bueno... and it comes in an Arbys cup. This is just disgusting and unsanitary. I'm surprised this establishment is still open. Easily the worst Taco Bueno ever.

Burrito with shit in it

Count yo days bueno, someone took a dump on my burrito, asked for no lettuce who tf got mad

They get it right, sometimes.... The food was hurried, sloppy and the workers didn't seem to care about their job. The food is overpriced for what you get and it is sloppy, even for a fast food restaurant. McD's is even a cleaner choice, at least if your in Sand Springs, Ok.

This place has to be the most ridiculous bunch of I don't know really well I do but I'm gonna watch what I'm saying here however every single time we go here to this window it's somethe food is disgusting so why do I go back I don't know in a hurry need something quick which they don't get in a hurry so still doesn't make sense right but This time try them handing you a bag with all your food in it with every single cup of salsa open and spill it out in your bag the onions Are always rotten tonight the chili sauce tastes like medicine has a medicine taste to it we're just kind of scary so I guess it kind of has a chemically taste to it anyway I don't know why they're still open I don't know why corporate has not shut them down or has not done something about it and this is if they're even open sometimes I've gone by there at 7 o'clock in the evening and they're already closed they closed their lobby down at like 56 o'clock in the evening seems like The general manager does not care one bit I have voiced my concerns to him on a couple of occagents including about his assistant manager who used to work the drive-through haven't seen him in there in a minute but he was So rude in a gentleman though hes very very rude very unprofessional no curse whatsoever he'll stand by the front doors where people walk in-and-out and puff on his cigarettes right by the door and that's the last thing I want to smell ever but much less right when I'm getting ready to walk into a food establishment close this place down do everybody in Sand Springs of favor and anybody else who passes through our town and chooses to stop sitting there close this restaurant close this restaurant I can't say it enough times, and they call those churros?? I DO NOT THINK SO!!!!

Idk why the guacamole is so spicy. I've been eating here for a decade and it has never been spicy at all. Made my food inedible.

It's a bit flashy and loud. They have a happy hour and a different special every day of the week. We went on a Wednesday and their Wednesday special is $5 Margaritas. I ordered one and Dan waited to taste mine before he decided. It was huge and it was sweet. It tasted a bit like Kool Aid. I ordered it on the rocks. That was a mistake. When I suspect a margarita might be sweet and have lots of artificial ingredients, I usually order it frozen. The ice mutes the sweetness. Dan got a beer after tasting my Margarita. I ordered my usual chili rellenos. The breading was much too thick. I took it off and ate the pepper. The refried beans had a good flavor and the rice was okay. Dan got a chicken quesadilla al a carte. I love that they have an al a carte menu. His quesadilla had a lot of chicken and not much cheese. The juice of the chicken filled his plate and made the bottom side of the tortilla soggy. The service was spotty. We had to do some waiting for the waiter. The decor and the music were both loud. They didn't have the volume turned up high. It is just the style of Mexican music that I consider loud. Our favorite Mexican restaurant plays Mexican music that I find classy. I enjoy it. Their Mexican art is also softer. That's a matter of taste.

Covered with a sprinkling of lettuce, tomatoes, grated cheese, and dab sour cream. A little guacamole and a few refried beans in it, would have made it a better taco salad. A "lunch special" for $9.75. That's a little pricey for what I got. Nice restaurant. Great service. The restaurant displays several "Best of" plaques at the entrance. Not my top pick for Mexican food in Sand Springs. On to the Bixby location. Heavy competition in that area. If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" by Spike S. on Yelp. I've probably been there.

The $ amount isn't an issue if the food was amazing... but it wasn't. My wife and I had steak fajitas for 2, at $34. Steak was tough and flavorless, apparently lacking any seasoning. and not the sizzling heaping plate you would expect. This came with a side plate for each of us with bland flavorless beans, and equally unimpressive serving of bland rice, a TEASPOON of guac, a small dollop of sour cream and a pittance of shredded/ground cheese in a disposable cup -not even 1/2 filled .....seriously? The amount of guac and cheese was insulting...this entree was Priced way too high and did not deliver in flavor, quality or quantity! Lots of better choices all over the area for less money. Prices seem to be about 25%+ higher than comparable locations...and the quality and flavors aren't there for a premium price. My wife commented that "the flavors were suitable for a nursing home...it was all so bland."

It looks like it has to have been in a previous life, an old-time, small-town convenience store where you pull in, gas up the boat, fill the ice chest with cheap PBR, grab a pack of night -crawlers and head to the lake. Now, the small inconspicuous building is split down the middle. A dispensary providing medicinal stress relief to the community operates in the west side and the family owned and operated Taqueria El Sabor Jarocho restaurant fills the remaining half. Driving into Skiatook from Hwy 75, the restaurant is unnoticed, and is equally invisible as you leave town headed east; mostly hidden by the vehicles parked under the old gas station canopy. It looks more like a small used car lot. The letters stenciled on the border of the old canopy that once proclaimed the restaurants existence have faded to extinction. Inside there is a small dining area with six tables that occupy the restaurant's allotted half the structure. Somewhere behind the wall in the remaining space is a functioning kitchen. A damn good one! Chips and good mild salsa come with the meal. There are several other varieties of salsa available. All good. The one that was in the little to-go cup was the best. Flavorful, a little smokey and not extremely hot. I bet they have a green salsa too. Hot plates came to the table. My wife had the beef enchiladas covered in an authentic red sauce (not tomato sauce.) Plenty of flavor on the plate, nothing bland. Beans and rice, tasty delicious as they should be. I went with the Mega Burrito. A bloated over stuffed flour tortilla filled with equal amounts of beans, rice, fajita beef, cheese and a little lettuce. The burrito was covered in queso. Excellent! The dining environment ain't enticing, but the authentic Mexican food is. 4.8 stars from over 200 reviews on Google back that up. Very good service.

Advertised as "Authentically Modern Santa Fe Cuisine." Calling it New Mexican food might cause confusion. A diner could infer "New Mexican" as a reference to modern Mexican food or possibly Mexican fusion. Indeed, La Tertulia plates food that is very similar to what I have had in Santa Fe and Taos. The famous Hatch Chilis heavily influences the cuisine. The two hues of the capsicum laced fruits, also create the age-old argument over red vs. green sauce. For me, huevos rancheros, Christmas style (red and green sauce), hold the rice. My wife had the stacked enchiladas with chicken, Christmas style, also hold the rice. Both the green and red sauces were delicious. Filling, tasty plates of food. The green sauce was the spiciest. Check the pictures. The service was excellent. I love their spicy fiery salsa that is served with the chips. I sucked down the small sample in just a few minutes. It was promptly replaced with two more big bowls. Kenzie's name was on the receipt. If you are a fan of any version of spicy Mexican food, served on "don't touch," third degree burn blistering hot plates, you will love this place. A savvy connoisseur of New Mexico fare, would be pleased with the food as well.
