My family and I went here for lunch for my mom's birthday and the food was great. now the service was a little slow but overall it was clean and the food was well priced for lunch and everything was really good. I will definitely be returning here.

Maybe 2 fluid ounces of salsa for two dinners? Ridiculous! Mambo used to give 12 oz foam cups of salsa!

Today's container of salsa was less than 1/2 the size of what we were receiving earlier in the year... which, in turn, was only half the size of what Mambo was providing in their takeout bags 3 or 4 years ago. It's just gotten ridiculous. I like to spread the salsa on my enchiladas, beans, and rice. There was barely enough in this itty bitty container for that, let alone any for a second person or to eat with chips.

I went to Mr. Mambos during the week a little after eight. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere. There weren't very many people there because it was late. Service was EXTREMELY slow. I ordered the chimichanga. Not impressed. The rice was lumpy and sticky, No flavor. My daughter ordered the street tacos and she enjoyed those but overall, I will not ever go back. We were there for over an hour in an empty restaurant eating below average food. Bill for these 2 dishes, queso, and water was $32.

There are many Mexican food options in Broken Arrow, but this spot is just so easy to get from my neighborhood! It does sit on the busy corner of 101st and Elm which makes it super easy to get to really for anybody. So, the restaurant itself! From the outside it looks super cool and inviting. Given it's location it's kind of a good idea to do that! When you come inside though it looks a little dank and in need of some updates and repairs. It happens sometimes with local spots though right? The service I have had here is always spot on with the staff being friendly and attentive. On my last visit my server never let me run out of sweet tea and I was so thirsty that day but it kept on coming! I like that! The food options here are what you'd expect to find in Oklahoma. The food is always on super HOT plates (as expected) and it's yummy. Overall no complaints from me other than it could be nicer on the inside but it's not bad enough to keep me away.

Since this was our first visit here, we had to order our comparison dishes. Those are guacamole, birria tacos and street tacos. When we received the chips and salsa, I noticed the salsa lacked some cilantro, but had a unique flavor, different from our other favorite Mexican food establishments. My wife was really fond of it, but said it was ok. I really liked it, even if it lacked cilantro. The guacamole came out and it looked like my guac that make at home. It was very good, didn't need any additional salt and was not overpowering in lime. I'd give it 10/10. My wife ordered the chicken street tacos. She said they were the best out of all the places we go. The chicken was flavorful and the tortillas didn't fall apart. It came with a tomatillo crema that was infused with jalapeños and was too spicy for her. I got the Birria tacos and they were especially good with the crema. The birria consumé was excellent. The rice was fluffy and tender and the refried beans were on point. They serve Coke products which includes Coke Zero and they were quick with the refills. We will definitely put this place as #2 on our list of go-to Mexican cuisine establishments. They are located in the Rose District, so the prices will be slightly higher, but it's still worth the visit.

There's a parking lot in this plaza, and we were seated immediately upon arrival. They offered complementary chips and dips (salsa and queso). We ordered additional guac. The chorizo queso is sooooo good! I ordered the birria taco plate and I'd say this is very authentic compared to food back home (California)! They were generous with the birria and the consome is chefs kiss!!! The staff did a wonderful job in assuring our needs were met and that we were satisfied. I hope this place is just renovating and hopefully will reopen in the foreseeable future. I would love to see this place continue to thrive!

Really good and would order again. Rice and beans were probably above average. My dining partner asked how the chile relleno was prepared. (He doesn't like the eggy batter.) We were literally told that it came premade and frozen and was "just fried." Obviously, he ordered the street tacos instead. We sat at the bar and it took a bit to get waited on but the manager jumped in and gave us water and silverware. I liked my Blackberry-Rosemary Marg but I honestly didn't feel like it had much tequila in it. The regular marg was just OK. Since it is a tequila bar and we sat at the bar, I would have liked to have discussed tequilas but my bad for not asking. Would have loved to have done a tasting. The menu was informative. I would go back when in south Tulsa. Not sure I would make it a destination. (Well, maybe. Those enchiladas were good! It is a cute place.

We arrived around 6:45pm for the 7pm bingo, only to find out it wasn't being held on the patio as advertised. That was fine--it was hot out anyway. We were shown to a small indoor section and luckily grabbed the last high-top table. Service was very slow. We waited a while before anyone came by, and it took 40 minutes to get my margarita. Our food actually came out before our drinks. I ordered a skinny margarita but got something syrupy and full of sweet & sour mix instead. Tried to switch to wine, but surprise--they don't serve wine. At a full bar. Odd. The food was just okay at best. * "Cilantro lime" rice had corn and no trace of cilantro or lime. Not good. * Black beans with pico--bland. * Cheese enchilada--fine, but forgettable. * Queso tasted like El Chico (nostalgic, but not in a good way). * Salsa had zero spice. Our server was rarely around, and when we were ready to pay, we actually had to get up and ask the manager at the host stand to bring us our check. Not a great ending to the meal. Bingo was... fine. It moved fast but had long breaks in between rounds. We played five games and didn't win. Prizes were $10 gift cards--not bad, but not enough to bring us back.
