We have been here twice and have been moderately satisfied with the experience. I would characterize it as pretty traditional, Mexican food, not Tex-Mex, if that's what you're looking for. In general, I think they would just benefit by flavoring the food more. The ambience was over the top hole-in-the-wall Mexican place with apparently Papa Chuy's face emblazoned on most of the booths. Service was not fast or particularly attentive. If you are from Oklahoma, this will probably be a thumbs up. If you are from Texas, California, or New Mexico it will probably not be for you. read more

Great prices, everything was around 12.00 or less, but I suppose you "get what you pay for" applies. The food was pretty much any small town Mexican food place in style, beans had very little flavor and ordered a "Mexican ribeye" which was very freezer burned, had some bad taste to it and the chili relleno was still frozen(they microwave them when you order them)...the server was great so we tipped her well based on her performance but the food was pretty bad. Your better off getting fast food or just warming up some beans and tortillas and calling it a night. read more

The food and service was great! The restaurant was clean and the wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The food came out quickly, just as soon as we were done with our chips and salsa, and the prices were fair. Definitely would recommend you stop and try their spinach quesadilla, it was probably the best one I've ever had. read more

Great quality food along with wonderful and friendly staff aside from the shy quiet guy that works the register but so consistent each and every time. Plus they won't steal from you like the fast food chain in Mannford that has those crappy arches & their food won't kill you or cause diseases. I second the spinach dishes, it doesn't taste dirty or off like most other places so definitely worth trying one. I prefer the stacked spinach enchilada. read more

Black mold/ discoloration on every baseboard in the place. Seats were sticky. Tortilla chips were so stale they tasted like gravel trying to chew. Everything was bland. Could've made a better dinner myself out of a frozen pizza. This is this second and last time I'll eat here. Same results both time. Horrible food, lack of basic cleaning of tables, even worse lack of cleaning of general restaurant. I hate to think what the kitchen must be like if they don't even keep the public area clean. We were camping at the lake. After a full day of activities we thought some warm hot Mexican food would be amazing. Who doesn't love chips & Salsa after a long day?! Unfortunately we were disappointed. The chips were stale, the salsa was bland, and the white queso had no flavor. Being the only Mexican restaurant in the area, this place could be making a lot of money if they stepped up their game. The waitress was nice & friendly but she was new. The second we walked in we were greeted with a "first season of Breaking Bad" filtered vibe. The bathroom trip was eventful: the toilet shook as I sat down, the ceiling outside the bathroom was completely off and there was some sort of odd fuzzy thing hanging out. The food- not great, one might even say bad. Gravy on an enchilada? Suspicious. Mushrooms in my quesadilla? Suspicious. The chips? Not salty. Just came back from there. My daughter and I had enchilada , my son fajitas. Grown by the way. All of us had margarita. All really good!

Good gosh this place was bad. I've eaten at tons of small town Mexican places but this one had some of the worst food. Staff was friendly and service was juts fine but I got the California burrito which was juts lots and lots of cheese and some meat. I can't imagine a chef would be proud of how bland and boring it was. I can't imagine where they got the name for this because it had no tomatoes, no garnish juts gross cheap cheese and bland meat. read more

Ordered two lunches, one kid's meal and received no chips and salsa. While my lunch burrito was good, the joy was dampened by the fact that the person who rang up our order said that chips and salsa DO NOT come with our order. Someone needs better training? Has a mouse problem with roaches in the chips....when you complain about the mice running all over the place, they ignore you then the manager ask you to leave.....will definitely be letting the health department know about the roach in my tortilla chips.....look on the floor in the corners and there is mouse poop....my kids pointed it out, as we are sitting there, a mouse runs across the floor under the kitchen door....the manager threatened to have us arrested if we didn't leave after we told them about the roach, and called my kids a liar along with myself....I would rather eat at the McDonald's than this place or travel to Tulsa to eat better food. read more

I have been to Vallarta's restaurant many times in the past. It is always loud inside the restaurant. The service is generally good, the food is decent. The queso is usually without flavor, but they are very generous with their chips. Call in orders are completed quickly. read more

We went through the drive through last. Night. I was so pleased to see them very busy. But they have always had excellent customer service and they always have quality food. I phoned my order in from the parking lot, and drove through for pick up. All of the employees were happy and wearing gloves and masks. Im just so sick of my own cooking. When you're literally the only Mexican restaurant within 20 miles you can kind of do whatever you want to do. That's pretty much what happens here, we've had good service sometimes and bad sometimes but what are you going to do? Supply and demand, if you want some damn enchiladas then you are at their mercy! Food here is like buying a T V dinner and throwing it in a microwave. They do make a good margarita. Salsa has more of a marinara flavor.

I complained about the food that was picked up for take out. Terrible food. Could not even eat it. I called to complain, instead of addressing this problem the owner and family went online and trashed all their customers that complained against their bad food and service. My last try at liking this place. We reserved for 15 people. When we arrived another party had our table and we got a table for 8 and two tables for 4. Not conducive for a group meal. Our server was top-notch, but failed to alert management when I told him my chile relleno had a moldy-tasting pepper in it. My brother had a relleno and said it tasted like freezer burn to him.
