    Box combo (2 tacos+1/2 Quesadilla) and Tully's Combo (2 tacos +1/2 Torta)...and a drink
    Jim L.

First timers and really impressed! 2 block walk from court, this place was perfect for lunch serving as a juror... The menu is simple, which means they can get it out fast..5 meat choices, Asada, Al pastor, Chorizo, Tripe and I believe Pollo...(no pollo here!!) I had the special with w 2 street tacos and 1/2 Torta, which had great flavor!! Thinly sliced avacado set this off. My wife had the box with 2 tacos and a mini quesadilla and it rocked with flavor!! Our combos were served with grilled onions, radish, a charred jalapeño, and a toasted chip. Green and red sauces on the table...I went with green, it was delicious. This is a very small shop and fills up fast...but the walls are bright with murals, and the chairs brightly colored steel...all tables have hangers underneath to keep your stuff off the ground. Price point is an about $12 for the combos, which include a can of pop, but also super reasonable for a downtown location. They also offer aquas frescas and Mexican sodas... Staff was pleasant and friendly...and they topped out at about 5'4", but they all had smiles, which is the important thing. They seemed to enjoy working together, and they were a pretty well oiled machine. Our food was at our table in around 5 minutes, hot and ready to eat! This is definitely worth a stop!!!

There is only one reason to go to Tulsa and it's this taco joint. The chicken tacos are incredible. Try the hot sauce. I would come all the way back to Tulsa just for another Tuly taco. This place is awesome!

Every table has these purse hooks that I absolutely LOVE!!! I thought that was a very thoughtful touch!

Tulys is amazing! If you love flavorful just the right amount of spices and seasoned street tacos then this is a must!! I have been here 4 times already. First time I got the Asada burrito and that was amazing. The flavor of the asada is so delicious whatever they marinate it in is delicious. The last couple of times I have got the combo plate three tacos and a side of rice and beans. Chicken has this delicious flavor and leaves you wanting more. Service is great! They are very welcoming and always thank you when leaving. Super cute taco shop with detailed Murrells on the walls that add a great touch to the ambiance. They are only open till 3 pm so make sure you stop in for a quick lunch if you are downtown. Food comes out fast!

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon crowd was steady. Very authentic I had the box which was two tacos, quesadilla and a drink for about 12 bucks. Chorizo was good not greasy like some is. Chicken very good too

My coworker and friend Jim introduced me to this restaurant a few weeks back, we walk from work to Tulys. It's usually pretty packed around our lunch time (11:40-12) i've never had to wait in line longer than 5mins, the lines in here are deceiving!! it looks like you'll wait forever but noo! all the ladies in the kitchen work so hard and are so incredibly nice. (english and spanish speaking) the food is absolutely amazing, it's very authentic. the sauces on the tables are all excellent, the spicy is SPICY i love it. the tacos are my favorite, the quesadillas are my second favorite. i really recommend the carne asada but have heard nothing but good things about all the protein options. it's a little on the pricier side of tacos considering the quantity you get, compared to a typical taco truck. highly recommend this place!

One of the most authentic taquerias in Tulsa. Super friendly staff. Food is amazing! Perfect lunch spot for those who work downtown. I recommend their al pastor, and their super creamy horchata.

It's parked in an unassuming lot, usually with a small line that moves faster than it looks like it should, and a faint, steady scent of grilled meat and toasted corn drifting into the air like a promise. The menu is simple--almost stubbornly so. Tacos, tortas, quesadillas, a couple of daily specials scribbled on a dry-erase board that looks like it's been rewritten a hundred times in the same handwriting. No gimmicks. No fusion detours. Just food that feels like it's been refined by repetition rather than reinvention. The al pastor tacos are the quiet standout. Not overloaded, not trying to prove anything--just thin slices of pork with that slow-cooked edge of spice and sweetness, balanced by pineapple that shows up exactly when it should and not a moment more. The tortilla holds everything together with the kind of soft resilience you only notice when it's done right. The carne asada has a gentle smokiness, more restrained than aggressive, like it was cooked over patience instead of flame alone. A squeeze of lime wakes it up, and suddenly it tastes less like a single ingredient and more like a memory you can't quite place but trust anyway. Even the salsa, served in those little plastic cups, feels intentional. One green, sharp and bright; one red, deeper and slower to reveal itself. Neither one is trying to win a contest--they're just there to adjust the volume of what's already good.

Add "everything ," which means salsa, cilantro, onions, etc. to get the full flavor. The chunks of meat in the steak tacos are chopped more finely than at some other places, which gets them a higher score. It's easier to eat and not so chewy. The family running the restaurant has always been warm and friendly, and I've been eating here for many years. Be patient as a long line can appear suddenly. You'll be rewarded in the end with a delicious plate of food though, and they have 6-8 flavors of aquas frescas, which have become a new favorite thing for me. If you have a sensitive stomach (think hangover or sickness) the pepino aqua fresca will heal you. The water of life it is!

But, it was difficult for me to look past someone being extremely rude at the register. The ladies in the kitchen were super nice though! My burrito was mostly beans and lacking flavor for Al pastor meat. At nearly $11 it's tough to say this was a winner. Either way, the building was clean, plenty of seating, but sooo quiet. Definitely not your typical Mexican joint playing music with a joyful atmosphere.

Youth Services helps young people experiencing homelessness and other challenges by providing counseling and youth programming. T-Town Tacos is their employment readiness program that helps youth by equipping them with the employment skills they need to create a better future for themselves. Not only do they have an amazing mission, but the tacos themselves are delicious and affordable. They have four options for breakfast tacos ($3 each): veggie, chorizo, bacon or sausage, egg & cheese. They all have flour tortillas and amazing flavor. My favorite is the sausage, egg & cheese taco, they use a spiced sausage that I love. For lunch tacos ($4 each), their options are: pork carnitas, chicken fajita, bean & Veggie, or chipotle beef. My favorite is the pork carnitas, the roasted poblano they use is delicious. They also have three salsas available, all made from scratch: traditional roja (tomato+peppers), creamy verde (tomatillo+avocado) and cream salsa (jalapeño+cilantro+ citrus). You can't go wrong with either but I like the verde. If you ever need breakfast or lunch for an event or meeting during the week, their tacos are the way to go. You have to order at least 20 tacos and order with at least 24 hours in advance. Their online catering request makes things super easy. All you need to do is fill out the form on their site with the tacos you need. They conveniently offer delivery to the metro area. Your order is then confirmed by email or phone call after submitting the form. You can also find their trikes serving tacos every Tuesday from 7-9am on 1st and Boston downtown.
