Hands down, this was probably one of the best Mexican meals and top taco spots I've had all year…read more We had an amazing feast--we tried the tacos (including the Baja Fish, Carne Asada / steak, and Cochinita Pibil / slow-braised pulled pork), a burrito served with chips and guacamole, and finished off with fresh churros for dessert. Everything tasted remarkably authentic, fresh, and delicious. On top of the fantastic food, it's a great value for the generous portions. The atmosphere is cozy and very relaxing, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. Highly recommend checking it out!

Tried a bunch of stuff and literally everything was…read moreso good. - Tacos: Got the sexy birria, chicharron and baja fish, and all of them were super tasty. The birria was slow cooked tender and smoky. The chicharron was crispy and salty. The baja fish was milky mild with a crunchy fry and tangy sauce. Each one of them were some of the best tacos I've had in the city. - Guacamole and Chips: The guacamole was fresh and the chips had a great crunchy texture and nuanced saltiness. - Tres Leches: So moist and spongey, not overly sweet. Could have eaten a whole cake of this! Prices are what prices are these days. Place is small but well laid out and interestingly decorated. Service and kitchen are quick. Vibe is welcoming. They obviously take pride in who they are and what they offer, and it shows in the quality and tastiness of their food. Will definitely be back for more!

We were greeted by the owner who let us pick a spot on their patio and brought us chips and salsa on the house, and waters. I got the horchata which was delicious and my friend got the Mexican Coke. We stayed to watch the fifa game and ordered a couple of tamarind margaritas slushies made by this wife. I wouldn't normally go for tamarind but these were phenomenal! Sweet and spicy, refreshing and massive, I would come back just for this! They also treated us to free Paloma's which were so refreshing and tasty, it was sweet but it felt like a clean drink. The patio only has a few spots was it was nicely contained in its own area away from the sidewalk but close enough to people watch. Finally the staff were so attentive and kind. They seem like such a sweet family and make I'll definitely come back to try their food!

This is easily the better Mexican spot on the street. Stopped by for lunch and got:…read more- Guacamole: Really fresh, smooth yet chunky, heaping size. The fried chips were nicely crunchy, which is a perfect pairing. My favourote dish of the meal. - Burrito Bowl: Got this with suadero, which was tender yet chewy. The overall bowl also had a freshness to it to pair with the salty beef, as it had a good amount of veggies, rice and beans. - Fajitas: Got this with shrimp and cheese. The shrimp was tasty though a bit rubbery, loved the generous amount of cheese. Overall dish was a tad too salty for my taste. Place has a lively vibe. Prices are what prices are these days. Service is super attentive, and kitchen is quick. Overall, a good spot if you're in the mood for some Mexican cuisine.
