Staff can unlock the door remotely. For years, I backroad it home from work. I pass by Centerpoint Mall and rarely drop by. I just haven't had a need to be there. I have mini goals. One of them is to visit every Jollibee in the greater Toronto area. I had this goal in Winnipeg, which was easier to achieve with three locations. I knocked this Jollibee at the mall off my list last Wednesday. I came here after work. This eatery has a separate entrance from the mall. It makes sense that if the mall is closed, you can still get your Jollibee fix. Mall entrance 6 is next door. It was a bit sad to see Pickle Barrel gone. It was the last time I dined at this mall, which would have been next door from Jollibee. I got here at around 3:30 pm. I found a parking spot in the middle of the lot. I backed into the spot and walked over to the eatery. This Jollibee has patio seating in the summertime. I walked in and there was a bit of a lineup. It allowed me to figure out what I wanted to eat. At Jollibee, I do have a regular order. However, I wasn't that hungry, so I didn't go with a side order of spaghetti. It hurt a bit, but I'll be back for some soon. I got Alyanna at the order area. She was friendly and patient with me. I got these items: - Two burger steaks with steamed rice - Pineapple quencher - Peach mango pie I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was done. She gave me a receipt with my order number. I waited patiently for my order. It didn't take long. I forgot to get my rewards QR code scanned. I realized when I got home that the app allows you to claim it with the special long code on the receipt. The app is glitchy. I entered the code and got an error. I did it again and it said that I had redeemed the code. So confusing! It turns out that my first attempt took and I got my reward points. Yay! The error code needs to be fixed, as it's misleading. Anyway, my order number was called out. I approached the counter. Another woman made sure that my order was correct and then handed me my tray, as I had mentioned that I'd be dining in. I thanked her and went to find a spot to sit down and eat. There are tables and seats. It was busy at this hour, but I found a table towards the restaurant's mall entrance. When I exited the mall to shop, I noticed that there are more seats to sit down and eat. I'll start with the pineapple quencher. It was sweet, but yummy. I always find that I go through this drink fast. I end up getting a refill of Diet Pepsi. I did that once while enjoying my meal. Just before I headed out, I filled it up again. My go-to meal is the two burger steaks. I love the mushroom sauce that I mix with steamed rice. It's so comforting. I love the sliced mushrooms, the sauce, and the yummy burger steaks with perfectly steamed rice. It's my favourite dish. I had a peach mango pie for dessert. It was crispy with a lot of peach mango filling. It was excellent. I needed to use the washroom. It required a code to unlock it. I went over to the order counter and asked another female staffer if I could get the code. She said that she could unlock the women's washroom from where she was and I could head over there. Well, another female staffer had made her way over to the washroom and used the single stall first. When she exited, I got to use it. It was clean and spacious. No complains. Some folks will say that eating at Jollibee is expensive. My meal was $20 after taxes. I'd say that it can be expensive. However, I don't eat here often and I'm at peace splurging when I do crave Jollibee. I'd return here for more good eats. It's a good stop between the office and home to grab a bite and relax. (155)

A bit pricey compared to other fast food chicken chains, but I think their pieces are bigger. I love that their spicy actually means spicy! You can't cut through this eatery to hit the mall. I recently visited Jollibee at Centerpoint Mall and was sad to not see Pickle Barrel next door. A week later, I visit Bramalea City Centre to visit a specific store. I saw this Jollibee and Pickle Barrel by mall entrance 1. I've been to this mall twice within a week. I had an early dinner each time. Before leaving, I visited this Jollibee. There is only one entrance to this restaurant that faces the parking lot. I got to see the mascot between doors. I then headed to the order area. My first visit consisted of getting these items: - Pineapple quencher - Peach mango pie I had my Jollibee rewards QR code scanned to collect points. I then paid with a credit card. It didn't take long for a friendly woman to put my order together. I loved the pineapple quencher. It tasted like fresh pineapple juice. So good and cheerful! I had my peach mango pie in my car while stopped at a Circle K on my way home. The pie was still hot. It was crispy on the outside. The filling was delicious. I was happy having a bit of dessert. Yesterday, before heading home, I revisited this eatery and got a pineapple quencher. I got my rewards QR code scanned and paid with a credit card. The dining area is spacious. One of these days, I'll need to dine in. (168)

There are only two tables a bunch of side bar stool type seating. When arrived at around noon on a Saturday, all the two tables were already taken as well as the stool seating in the middle of the restaurant. However, after we ordered on group at the table just left, so we were able to sit at a table. After paying, they give you a square device that lights up when your order is ready. After about 5 minutes, it lit up and we retrieved our order from the counter. Our order consisted of the following: 1 X 2 pc Jolly Crispy Chicken with Jolly Spaghetti 1 X Original Chicken Sandwich 1 X Deluxe Chicken Sandwich 2 X Peach Mango Pie 1 X Ube Pie The Jolly Crispy Chicken was exceptionally good. I didn't expect the chicken to be that juicy and crispy for a fast food chain, but it was. The spaghetti was much better than I expected. I had expected something like the ABC spaghetti sauce sold in grocery stores, but this was much better as it was not as sweet and watery. Both chicken sandwiches were disappointing. They were served lukewarm and didn't have the flavour of other chicken sandwiches. The peach and ube pies were outstanding. They both had a lot of filling and were deep fried, so the pasty was nice and crispy. So, our order was a bit hit and miss. The fried chicken pieces, the spaghetti and the dessert pies were good, but the chicken sandwiches were not. Service was excellent and we received our order in a reasonable amount of time. Overall, I liked the Jollibee experience and the fried chicken and will return.

The coconut milk gravy reminds me of Indonesian flavours (the Philippines is close by which would make sense). The batter is like none other. I wonder if they use corn flour? The packaging and CLEANLINESS at this location is TOP TIER. The staff are all very nice to their customers. Always pleasant and polite. Tip: Earn Jollibee rewards with every purchase…read more I have a mini goal to visit every Jollibee in the greater Toronto area. I have known about this Jollibee location at Promenade Mall for a while. I finally got around to visiting it on Monday after work, which completed my visiting Jollibee locations in the suburbs of Toronto. I like this Jollibee. It's by mall entrance 2. You have access to this eatery from the mall or through its own entrance when the mall is closed. Most Jollibee restaurants have washrooms with a numeric code that you need to use to unlock it. This one does not have this code, which is nice to not bug staff for the special code. I used the washroom before I left. It was decent. You press a button to lock the door and press the larger button to unlock it. I spent a bit of time at the mall. I worked up an appetite and headed over to Jollibee for a bite to eat. It's across from Firehouse Subs, which I'd like to visit someday. I walked through the mall entrance to get here. The downside to looking at the menu is that there's so much that I want. My usual is often not listed right off the bat. I have to wait for the screen to change to see it. I got a nice man at the counter who greeted me and took my order: - Two-piece burger steak - Adobo rice - Peach mango pie - Pineapple quencher I got my Jollibee rewards QR code scanned. I then paid with a credit card. I tapped, but didn't see that the credit card had prompted me for my PIN. It was incredibly random! I got my pineapple quencher. I love this drink so much. It is sweet. I'm glad that I don't have it regularly, so it ends up being a treat. The pineapple is so good. It's also icy cold. I got a buzzer to let me know when my food would be ready. I found a table and sat there, sipping my drink and people-watching. My order was number 19. The buzzer had 19 on in. It buzzed and lit up like I had won the lottery. It was kind of true. I was fetching my winnings in the form of dinner. I thanked another man at the counter who had my order nicely presented on a tray. I then headed back to my table to eat. I find the two-piece burger steak to be comforting. It's so good with sliced mushrooms and gravy. Adobo rice was new, so I went for it. It was flavourful. I hope it stays on the menu, as it's a fancy step up from the plain steamed rice! I mixed the adobo rice with the mushroom gravy. It was fantastic! I capped my meal off with a peach mango pie. It was excellent. There was plenty of fruit filling. The pie was crispy and hot. Yum! Before I left, I filled my empty cup with Diet Pepsi. I still don't know if I should be doing this fill-up, but I run out of pineapple quencher quickly that I genuinely need another drink. Maybe I need to suggest a larger quencher cup size, but I'd be on a massive sugar high than I already have with the current cup size. I'm glad that I can finally say that I've been here. Staff were helpful and great. The food and drink were yummy. I'll be back soon. (224)
