My only critique on the side is the bread... getting plain white bread slices feels like a missed opportunity. If they toasted it into Texas toast, it would take the meal to another level. The fountain drink size included in the combo felt surprisingly small, especially for a takeout order. The Leslieville location itself is fantastic. The exterior design really catches your eye from the street, and the inside is spacious with two levels. I especially loved the neighborhood-specific touches, like the custom "Leslieville" graffiti art on the wall... it gives the space a great local personality. Service was friendly. I made excuses because it was a small business and even defended it when others raised concerns. Looking back, I shouldn't have overlooked any of it. But bringing your small business into far-right politics is something I cannot overlook. Everyone is entitled to their political beliefs, but I'm equally entitled to decide where I spend my money. I cannot support a business that has chosen to associate itself with division, hostility and hate. Like so many Beaches East York residents. Their loyalty was because of the founders. They worked so hard to build the business into what it was, which makes it incredibly disappointing to see what has happened to it. To the current owner, you were given a fully functional and popular restaurant with an established place in the Danforth community. You didn't build this. The current state of the business reflects, a lack of care and respect for what your family built and entrusted to you. Using that family legacy for political attention is a disrespectful and disgraceful act.
