There was plenty of wait staff on site but communication between staff was quite poor. No one ever came by to see if we needed anything or to ask if we wanted additional drinks or the like. So we found ourselves having to constantly hail wait staff. A large portion of the weekend buffet was seafood. You would expect that when serving lobster and crab the tableware would include for seafood crackers. This is not the case. I asked for seafood crackers from two different wait staff and was advised they didn't have any. So I went to the matre d' and asked, she went into the back and brought some out for our table. If you serving lobster and crab, the restaurant should either provide crackers or pre- cut the claws ready to eat. With regard to the food, I would have thought they would have served some rolls or bread but we had to ask for this special. As well, most all the food was cold. So all in all, I expected more but a 3 star rating is about all I would give.

Not sure who decided that was a good idea. Interesting because they did come around to tell us about their wine options. The quantity and variety of the buffet was fine, efficiency quite good and wait staff were all kind, however the quality of the offerings was lacking. I would put the actual food part of the meal in the mediocre category.

It's fresh rotisserie chicken cooked over charcoal and served with a super tasty sauce. The price is reasonable too. No notes needed as they've pretty much nailed it. I originally stopped by the plaza to pick up bubble tea from another unit and ended up discovering this amazing little restaurant serving fresh, hot food. It was Friday after 4PM, and the selection was fantastic--octopus dishes, rice, potatoes, rissóis, fish patties, fresh pork rinds, desserts, and more. I picked up the pork rinds, shrimp rissóis, and a fish patty, and every single item was delicious. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. The rissóis were especially good--crispy outside with a flavorful filling. There's also a Portuguese shop right next door, which made the visit even better. I found Terra Nostra Azores butter, cheese, Portuguese muffins, sardines, olives, and plenty of other imported goodies. Definitely a hidden gem. I'll be back regularly--this is the kind of place you want to keep coming back to.

However, I decided to finally come here as my usual Portuguese chicken joints' quality have kinda gone downhill. Since this was my first time ordering, I wanted to call and make sure how much in advance I had to order and whether or not they had Bacalau. The man who I spoke to was very nice and said that I should give 30mins notice and that they did have Bacalau. A coupla hours later, when I placed my phone order...they didn't have any bacalau. So I had to order a side salad to sorta puff up the portion. Chicken was still being prepared by the time I arrived for pick-up. Rice/Parisienne potato sides are in chafing trays and it wasn't as hot as the freshly prepared chicken. Still good, but just at different temps. Greek Salad that I ordered, last minute, was freshly prepared, crispy, had all the components. Medium size served 2 large portions! I'd definitely come back again, but if I wanted a specific, non-chicken dish, I'll definitely clarify whether or not they had it!

An HOUR LATER I asked the waiter where our food was and she said " Oops, we gave your food to another table and you will have to wait another 15 minutes We asked the manager what happened and he said " that's just the way it is" I then asked the dumb owner and he arrogantly said "well we have been in business for 40 years and we please most people " No " I'm sorry, let me make it right" This just reinforced how low iq and ignorant Portuguese people are. We happily left and enjoyed a great meal elsewhere. I will not recommend this shitty establishment to anyone looking for a good Portuguese meal as there are many others to choose from. I chose rice and roasted vegetables, however they also had options for potatoes, steamed vegetables, greek/garden/macaroni salad and fava beans. Overall I really enjoyed the saucy, tender, and flavourful chicken and the sides completed the meal very well.
