Ambience was nice, singer was cool, the space was fancy-looking.

Came on a Saturday evening for the seafood buffet. The food was okay, the ambience was great, and the service was decent. If you want good food, I do not recommend the seafood buffet (I cannot speak to the a la carte menu). Mind you, I came at 5pm and I'm not sure when their dinnertime begins, so it's possible the food was the leftovers from before. But the seafood was cold and generally seemed like they were flavoured from the same sauce. All the little finger foods were bland, and even the rest of the meats were dry or just ok. There were only 2 warm dishes I would probably eat a second serving of: the salmon and the spaghetti. Even the bread was hard to eat. If you want variety, they certainly have a lot. But for the price, I would not say it's worth it. If you just want somewhere for the ambience and decor, it certainly looks like a nice fine-dining restaurant. The live singer was also a nice touch as well.

Amazing place I came here over a year ago and had the Brazilian style service where they cut the meat at your table and that was really good. This time Saturday we came for the buffet. I have to say it is a seafood dream!! Lobster, shrimp different ways, rice, paella, mussels, fried fish, excellent steak, bbq Chicken etc, etc and more and more. Porteguese style spices, excellent! Take a look at the pictures. The people were friendly and service with a smile. The ambiance is open and it does get loud with everyone talking. The Saturday we went they had live music which was actually good, some oldies. A must try if you like seafood.

The modern, chic decor sets a wonderful ambiance, and the service was immediate and welcoming. The food was spectacular from start to finish. We started with fresh, warm bread, followed by a flavorful seafood gumbo loaded with meat, and a generous portion of two lightly breaded crab cakes. For our mains, the 10oz ribeye and 8oz tenderloin were seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection--compliments to the chef! They came with a lovely side of baby potatoes and vegetables. We capped off a perfect meal with a warm pecan tart and ice cream. I highly recommend coming here. We noticed they have a pizza oven and plan to add pizza to the menu soon; we already can't wait for our next visit to try it out! Ps parking wise, the restaurant is just off a residential neighborhood and parking is free. No need to pay for any parking, just remember to read signs.

There are specials that change weekly. The interior is decorated with New Orleans memorabilia, medium lit, cozy (not large), with jazz music in the background. Service was attentive and friendly. They operated for 30 years at their old location. This location soft-opened on 2026-02-12. We came on 2026-02-25 for dinner. There were still some furnishings to complete (there were unforeseen delays). They kept the same menu offerings but it will be expanded within a month. We ordered the following: 1. Citra Terre D'Abruzzo Pinot Grigio - Italy (glass $14.95). 2. Coke. 3. Crab Cakes ($19.95). 4. New Orleans Shrimp Cocktail ($19.95). 5. Jambalaya Aranchini (weekly special). 6. Blackened Lamb Chops (weekly special). 7. New Orleans Fisherman's Plate ($39.95). 8. Pecan Pie warmed with Ice Cream ($14.95). 9. Bananas Foster ($14.95). 10. Beignet ($14.95). Every dish had an excellent presentation. We spent a lot of time taking photos and videos. What did you expect from me?! We loved all the dishes! The portions were large! There are more staff than in the previous location, allowing the service to be excellent. They tend to have many loyal and returning customers. Every table starts with freshly baked bread and butter. The bread was so fresh! The three appetizers tasted good. They each had a little kick due to creole cuisine. I loved the shrimp the most. The Blackened Lamb Chops was perfectly cooked. Each of the four pieces were very tender, accompanied by a delicious sauce. The dish had some very nicely cooked seasonal vegetables: roasted potatoes, a red pepper, string beans, a broccoli, and a carrot. This dish will be put into their regular menu in the near future. The New Orleans Fisherman's Plate is great if you want a little sampling of their seafood: Blackened Fish, Cajun Calamari, and Coconut Beer Shrimp. It also comes with rice and seasonal vegetables. The fish was so good! We brought some home for my mom and she really loved it. The Coconut Beer Shrimp was on top of a Orange Marmalade Sauce, which is really liked. The three desserts looked really good and tasted good. I loved the pecan pie the most. They can split dishes in half in the kitchen and serve them on two dishes for two people to share. The restaurant uses fresh seasonal ingredients and spices to create authentic Creole and Cajun tastes. Everything is made in-house except for bread and butter. In the near future, their bread will be made in-house too. Currently, there is only indoor dining but they are looking into the possibility of sidewalk outdoor dining. Mike Djurdjevic runs the front of the house while his wife, Mira Djurdjevic, operates the kitchen. Their son, Marko, also helps in the front of the house. There is a large pizza oven at the back of the restaurant. They will be introducing creole pizza in the near future. There is a separate large room for events, parties, etc. This room will be ready in the near future. They also do catering. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is also wheelchair accessible, and one female washroom. Thrre is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2026-037

Service & Atmosphere: Five Stars The service here was truly exceptional... super quick, genuinely friendly, and so very kind. From seating to check out, the staff was attentive and really made the experience a pleasure. The interior is decorated well with a fun, slightly nautical vibe, but my absolute favorite feature was the artistic touch on the way to the restroom. There are these vibrant wall paintings that are clearly designed to be photo ops, and I loved that they encouraged patrons to snap a picture. It's those little details that really elevate the atmosphere! The Captain's Boil: Good, but Different Now, to the food. Full disclosure: I lived in Georgia for 12 years, and nothing is ever going to beat a seasoned, authentic Florida crab boil in my mind. However, this boil is pretty darn good in its own right. I went with the Non-Spicy Captain Boil (which is a mixed seafood option) and loaded it up with lobster, potatoes, and an egg. The seasoning was flavorful and well-balanced, though it leaned a little less toward the heavy Cajun spice blend I'm used to. It delivered a scrumptiously satisfying seafood experience. Everything was cooked perfectly the 1.5lb lobster was tender, and the potatoes soaked up the sauce so very nicely. I would definitely go back the next time I'm craving a seafood boil.

I enjoyed my keto breakfast! The pear ginger juice was good, the ginger wasn't to strong, so if you're looking for a strong ginger taste you won't get that here, which depending on who you are is great or not what you want.
