    Fried calamari & mussels

Very tasty! The staff are very well versed on the food items and recommended the sea bass since I wanted a fish that wasn't too 'fishy'. Calamari was the best I've had in a while -not chewy at all and a huge serving! The mussels are served in a tomato like sauce. Kind of a strong taste but still very good. Beautiful decor in the restaurant. The price is very fair for the quality of food. Would definitely recommend :)

Given that much of the Middle East borders the Mediterranean, the lack of Middle Eastern seafood in Toronto is sad - but Ghadir Fish does its part in representation! They get 4.5 stars. Jumbo shrimp were grilled over charcoal. They were very fragrant & pretty tasty. It came with 3 (!) sides. Rice was good - fluffy & spiced with a noticeable cumin flavour. It was not salty despite its look. Batata Harra (spicy potatoes) were good: a bit crispy. The dish also came with bread (for the baba ganoush, maybe) so don't overload on carbs with your choice of sides. The bread was a bit old & pre packaged but I just took it as a bonus anyway. The baba ganoush itself was decent. Portions are big here. If you choose mixed vegetables they're just tossed with olive oil and garlic. The red sauce on the side was slightly spicy - more tart. It was good too. You can get whole fish sold by weight here too. They have some Middle Eastern drinks, like Mirinda Green Apple from Egypt & Mirinda Citrus from Saudi Arabia.

The restaurant was surrounded in tanks full of lobster, crab, seafood and then a ton of dry aged steaks. Definitely something you don't see in California. Clean and spacious. Service was what you would expect from a Chinese seafood restaurant. Overall the meal was good, for me and a few others at the table the star of the show was actually the fish. The lobster while impressive when they brought it out was not as flavorful as one would have expected. And same with the king crab legs - my favorite have been the ones I've had in SF. Was interesting to come and experience it but I wouldn't come back. I prefer quality food over an IG-moment.

The establishment is famous for its iconic, towering mountains of deep-fried Hong Kong-style lobster and giant Alaskan king crabs.Without a doubt, the food is exceptional. The seafood is extraordinarily fresh--pulled straight from massive surrounding glass tanks--and prepared to absolute perfection with their signature Maggi sauce and garlic toppings. However, the major downside here is the notoriously slow and chaotic service. Due to the massive crowds, servers can be hard to flag down, orders take a long time to arrive, and the staff often feels rushed or inattentive. Despite the frustrating wait times and subpar service, the spectacular flavors and theatrical presentation make it a worthwhile destination for patient seafood lovers.Watch the massive lobster towers being prepared and served fresh at this iconic spot

The restaurant is a decent size with a cozy and relaxing ambiance. We ordered some of the most popular dishes, and everything that came out was absolutely delicious. Every dish had its own unique flavour and taste. There was a small mix-up with our order when one of the staff accidentally brought us tofu shrimp instead of the fried rice we ordered. Amy, one of the servers/managers, handled the situation so professionally. Even though it was already last call and the kitchen was closing, she was able to have the correct dish remade for us. She sincerely apologized for the mistake and even gave us a complimentary plum drink along with some butter cranberry cookies. Amy provided exceptional customer service and was absolutely awesome throughout the experience. Despite the long wait, the food and service made it worth it. I would definitely recommend this place and will for sure be coming back!

Overall the food was good. The sauces were all really good and enhanced the flavour of the shellfish. In my opinion, the salted egg yolk was a bit too creamy and felt better suited for something like a pasta. The curry was alright, but my favourite was the Singaporean chilli crab. It was a whole infusion of flavour and had a little kick to it as well! My only complaint is it is a bit on the pricey side (was about $70 per person), but that's expected with lobster and crab.

Probably a total of four tables being served including myself. Seafood platter $15.95 - comes with two different fish I think, scallops and shrimps with a side of rice, potatoes and veggies. The veggies were steamed and seemed like the ones you get frozen. The carrots texture was like rubber. The fish were grilled and drenched in a buttery garlic flavour. I don't find the fish that fresh as some pieces had a fishy flavour. The potatoes were in the shape of balls and a bit smaller than ping pong balls. They tasted good topped with tartar sauce. Halibut special$16.95 - This was not on the menu but located on a board at the back of the restaurant. You get the same rice, potatoes and veggies mentioned above but you also have a choice of the soup of the day or salad which you can get from their salad bar. I went with the soup of the day which was beef barley soup. It was really flavourful and had rice shaped noodles with some beef chunks. It went well with the complementary bread. Being a seafood restaurant I was really expecting more from the fish but it fell below expectations.

Nestled on Queen East, its warm, wood-fired vibe makes every visit special. The Favorites We kicked things off with their saffron‑kissed Arancini--bite‑sized spheres of rice and smoked mozzarella, godsends dipped into bright tomato-marinara and pesto. Next came the Pizzano pizza: a perfectly blistered crust layered with pepperoni, Calabrian chilies, fior di latte, hot honey drizzle, and aged Parmigiano--an addictive balance of sweet‑heat and savory richness. The pillowy Gnocchi arrived next--smothered in butternut squash purée, earthy wild mushrooms, hazelnuts, sage brown‑butter, and a final snow of Parmigiano. And the Fritto Misto was a crunchy delight: lightly breaded shrimp, calamari, scallops, all perked up with zesty lemon‑caper aioli. Setting the Tone We started with cocktails, which hit the right note--elegant, balanced, and a little unexpected. They added a celebratory lift that carried right into the meal. Service was smooth and welcoming, striking that hard-to-nail mix of polish and warmth.
