affordable options, I would highly recommend ordering the tilapia with the additional sides i.e. tabbouleh or hummus.

The seafood is indeed fresh and cooked well, but that's the only redeeming quality. Their set menus come with a small number of dishes and for the same price at comparable Chinese restaurants, you could get the same weight of king crab/lobster and several more dishes included in the set meal. As always, the steak comes out shortly after the order is made, way before our seafood is even taken out of the tank and showed to us. And the steak is always blue, hard seared on the outside and basically still moo-ing in the middle. Our king crab was not lively at all and they also added a supposed 1.5 lbs to our king crab and it certainly didn't look like it. The fries in the typhoon style lobster were cold, which is always a problem here. Service is absent and inattentive. Nobody changed our plates until we were nearly done eating. Overall, it's a popular place as the pioneer of the lobster and crab towers and perhaps worth trying one time for its popularity, but there are much better quality options in the GTA with better execution, value and service.

Any restaurant that gives me complimentary ice cream is already a 5/5 from me…read more Fr though the food here was super yummy, definitely some of the best Singaporean food I've had in the gta. I was told by my Singaporean friend that the chili crab was not as authentic as it could have been but it was all delicious regardless. The food also took a bit to get here and they gave us complimentary chicken wings while we waited. Left feeling like a little hot crab indeed.

Place is small, and waiting for a table is de rigor. We placed our name in the Google waitlist, then waited another hour to be seated on Friday night. Based on reviews, got the Singapore chili crabs with the king oyster mushrooms (under the crab it soaked up all the goodness), spicy clams garlic veggies and the beef in black pepper/garlic. All were well done, the veggies had great wokhai, met with appreciation at the table. Clams and crabs were spicy for some and ok for others (our table was Cantonese and Korean). Crab was delicious, and the sauce called for rice to be mixed in after the crab was done. It filled us, but not too much. Next time we might try other sauces, but the Singapore chili sauce was killer. Totally worth the money and the hassle. In a mall full of other restaurants this place was the busiest. Very cute decor and free ice cream!

It's a fairly large space, however the wall decorations (large pictures of mermaids etc.) were a bit distasteful. The food was served buffet style. I got a greek salad, clicken (breast?), potatoes, carrots and string beans. There was also some bread and butter available at the table. Standard banquet hall food. My complaint is that everything was very dry. When the chicken was first served, it was okay but soon enough it dried out along with the vegetables. Perhaps the quality had to suffer because there were a lot of guests that needed to be served.

We went with the $568 set menu, and there was plenty of food for the number of people it was intended to serve. The lobster was definitely the highlight of the meal! We also ordered an additional half suckling pig for $80. Personally, I would say you can skip the pig, as I've had better versions elsewhere. The restaurant is spacious and newly decorated. Personally, I find the dark interior a little less welcoming, but that's just my preference. One thing to note is that the washrooms are located near the entrance, which can be quite a walk if you're seated near the tank. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. The servers were generally nice and friendly, but perhaps because of the restaurant's large size and the lack of a clearly assigned server for each table, it was surprisingly difficult to get their attention. Our tea and water ran out several times, and we had to actively chase someone down for refills. Overall, come here for the food, especially the lobster and the set menu, but don't expect the service to be on the same level as the cuisine.

A staple in Markham for lobster towers, seafood, and overall great food…read more I've dined here multiple times and keep coming back for more. I do see a huge difference in service when you're in their private rooms vs. when you're in their main dining room. Regardless if you have a reso, you'd still have to wait for a seat after checking in with the hostess. It's quite crammed in the lobby area since there's large parties all waiting to be seated. Service at my latest visit in their main dining room area was not the greatest, with dismissive waiters that tried to gaslight us that food should come out first before the soup. Being Chinese myself and visiting this location multiple of times, I would know that the soup comes first in any Chinese restaurant. All of our serveware also had a lot of tea leaves on it which was kind of gross and we sent back a lot of the serveware to be replaced by new ones. Food here is still top notch though and very good. It's a bummer that I saw such a drastic difference in the service when dining in the main dining room vs. the private rooms. Definitely was not expecting this type of experience when I came here during my last visit, since this meal is never a cheap one.

The Favorites We kicked things off with their saffron‑kissed Arancini--bite‑sized spheres of rice and smoked mozzarella, godsends dipped into bright tomato-marinara and pesto. Next came the Pizzano pizza: a perfectly blistered crust layered with pepperoni, Calabrian chilies, fior di latte, hot honey drizzle, and aged Parmigiano--an addictive balance of sweet‑heat and savory richness. The pillowy Gnocchi arrived next--smothered in butternut squash purée, earthy wild mushrooms, hazelnuts, sage brown‑butter, and a final snow of Parmigiano. And the Fritto Misto was a crunchy delight: lightly breaded shrimp, calamari, scallops, all perked up with zesty lemon‑caper aioli. Setting the Tone We started with cocktails, which hit the right note--elegant, balanced, and a little unexpected. They added a celebratory lift that carried right into the meal. Service was smooth and welcoming, striking that hard-to-nail mix of polish and warmth.
