Friends I know have been raving about this place and I figured I was in the neighbourhood so why not? It's a small little pizza joint. There were some seating outside but it was only the one table for two people. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The only downfall was that they ran out of meat sauce so the lasagna was out of the question but they made up for it in the pizza flavours. The menu is pretty straightforward; they offer multiple types of pizza ranging from classic meat lovers to unique ones like smoked salmon or tandoori chicken. I ended up ordering the four cheese because I was in a cheesy mood. The pizza was amazing. The crust had a nice puff up but was not so crunch that it would cut the roof of your mouth. The sauce-to-dough ratio was perfect, and neither ingredient overpowered the other. The cheeses they used (Ricotta, Feta, Bocconcini and cream cheese) didn't clash with each other, and it just seemed to be a slice of cheesy goodness with every bite. The pizza was not greasy, so no mountain of napkins was needed. A must-try if your into pizza and like my nannu says in Sicilian "Veni e pigghiati 'u divertimentu" (Come and enjoy it already). read more

I've been drooling over the pictures of their pizza for too long and I decided to give them a try one night when I just did not have it in me to cook after a super long day. We probably made a mistake when ordering 2 large half and half pizzas as this turned out to be a very pricey pizza dinner (over $80!!) but that's not the restaurant's fault. We'll just be more mindful next time. The pizzas were good and I loved the freshness of the toppings. Unfortunately, I did not love their crust as it was too chewy for my liking. We decided to order food from here based on the recommendation of a friend. The menu is pretty expansive for pizzas and they have several pastas as well. Food: Hawaiian pizza was quite good. Decent amount of toppings that were evenly dispersed. The dough is quite nice, it looks thick but it's fairly light and fluffy. We definitely reheated it in the toaster oven to get a bit more of a crunchy base but the dough remained light which is nice. Carbonara pasta - pasta is cooked al dente. Lots of bacon and cheese. We did ask for egg tossed in but not sure we got that. It is quite salty with all the bacon but hey, they didn't skimp on the bacon! Price: I'd say this is definitely a much higher price point than most pizza places but the quality is also much higher. Definitely will return to try more items. read more

Our go-to pizza joint. Price point higher, but the quality is there and they don't skimp out on toppings. They don't overcrowd it either with a single ingredient except the cheese, which they add a lot of! Besides that, it was quite well balanced. Been here several times this year and it's always great! The dough isn't boring and the crust is TOP TIER for a non-traditional pizza joint since they do use italian pizza flour (I'm nosy n saw but I'll delete this if it's a secret). Did y'all change the recipe slightly recently or maybe I hallucinated it? I swear the old one had a slight sweetness to it. Either way, still love it. Caesar salad - fresh ingredients and no wilted lettuce in sight! Also didn't skimp on the Caesar dressing and they add a lot of bacon. A+ Chicken wings - ugh the hold Chinese chicken wings have on me.. Might've westernized a bit and toned down the seasoning for the sauces to dip but still alright. So far they've lived up to the advertisement of "best pizza in Scarborough 2022". Ingredients taste seasoned and slow cooked before being put on the pizza. Crust has a garlic butter rub and pizza has a nice Smokey flavour. Great balance. Excellent quality. Soft light crust so you don't feel heavy while eating it. Also they clearly have pride in dressing the pizza. Every inch covered in toppings and well balanced. Only thing I didn't care for is their creamy garlic sauce. A little to much of a sweet mayonnaise taste. Pizza pizza garlic sauce remains king. Honestly the pizza here is so good that I did not miss the garlic sauce or having a dip at all so didn't really matter. Overall, this place was absolutely worth the 15 min drive. Just extraordinary. First time here. Read the awesome reviews, so I had high expectations but no hesitation to visit here. Especially as a small business in these times, it is imperative to make decisions with spending money to help your neighbors during this time. We picked up a cheese steak sandwich, and their $12.99 large walk-in special: a large, 3 topping pizza (chicken, green peppers, and mushrooms). Check out the photos I hope they can speak for themselves, but really you have to taste it to believe. This was an absolutely beautiful, tasty pizza!! The pizza is soft and yeasty, jammed packed with toppings, which are fresh and cared for with wonderful zesty seasoning: not too much nor too little, just completely balanced. The meat in the steak sandwich was equally cared for, beautifully tasting and jammed packed with purely meat! Dressed lightly with iceberg lettuce for some freshness. I heartily recommend this lovely place. When we came in to pickup the order, the owner came out to personally thank us, with tongs and apron clad. They're super lovely people here that make fantastic food. We shall be back. There is a Tuesday special for fish and chips, that will probably be next on wish list. Been coming to this hidden gem regularly to get my pizza cravings fix. The pizza have is amazing. They are very generous with the toppings. The flavour is amazing compared to other pizza places in town. You can tell they make their dough fresh and only use the best ingredients. I've tried their wings a while ago and it's alright for what it is. Will get their pasta next time around and write another review... For the location, they're found right across the Highland Farms. They are a bit hidden but once you know, you know. Aside from the pizza, the people who work there (or owners?) are the nicest people ever. You can tell they're very passionate about their business. Was visiting friends in the area and wanted to bring good pizza and support/try a non-chain pizza place. I saw the good reviews and decided to give it a try. I got a large Garden pizza and a large Meat Lovers pizza. It was a good amount for 4 people with leftovers, definitely could have fed 5 or 6. The pizza was delicious. The quality of ingredients really shines through. The biggest compliment we had for the meal was that the Garden pizza actually tasted like the real vegetables that was on it, and this is not common with many chains. The pizza was a bit greasy when we started to eat it, but this is normal and I think a small amount of natural oils from the toppings enhances the experience. Oh the hype for this place is real! Their pizza is phenomenal! They have a great walk-in special, large 3-topping for $12.99. First off, a very rare occurrence is seeing a Chinese person working in the front, but also all in the back as well.. Its run by Chinese people here. I initially assumed it'll be run by South East Asian b/c of the pizza we're looking to get... I got their signature pizza, 'Tandoori Pizza' medium for $27 or so after taxes... If we're comparing this place to like pizza pizza, domino's, lil caesar, pizza hut etc., This is hands down the BEST one yet! The flavour profile of this pizza is LEGIT! Usually most pizza places don't do any seasoning with their pizza at all... You get tandoori chicken pieces, mozzarella cheese, red onion, avocado... This is a rarity of a pizza that has avocado. Avocado = 2x toppings; Tandoori Chicken = 3x toppings if you got your own individual a la carte style pizza that is. The garlic dip home made by them is pretty good too! My wife and I are pretty impressed with this pizza alone and this lives up to the reviews they're getting for sure! I knew this place was pretty good when I was seeing a lot of people getting pizza's there and a lot of Asian people too young and old...Usually Asian people old stay away from pizza joints. Pizza On Fire serves up drool worthy pies. The Mediterranean pizza is a fantastic choice for vegetarians. It definitely wasn't light on the toppings. Sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, red onion, feta, and spinach. And the fresh herbs sprinkled on top is *chef's kiss*. The pick up experience was great. They also have other great pre-picked pizza options available such as Tandoori Chicken and classics like Hawaiian and Meat Lovers. We decided on ground beef, onions and pineapples (don't hate!) and it was so delicious. They definitely don't skimp on the toppings. Would definitely go again! They offer free delivery for orders over $15 within 3 km radius of the store. Word of caution, kinda hard to find. It's not in the plaza right at Ellesmere and Kennedy but in a small plaza beside Highland Farms. We first discovered this place by accident after we tried to go another pizza restaurant in Scarborough, and that business had rudely told us that they closed 1 hour early. We searched for pizza places in Scarborough that's were open late and came across Pizza on Fire. The universe sent us to the right place. Humble, honest, and delicious pizza. The tandoori chicken pizza is unreal. A wonderful example of fusion food. They do not skimp on the sauce, and the avocado is a nice touch. Try it with the egg!
