Sorry I'm not a huge fan of this location. We came here last Tuesday after Trivia down the road and were very hungry. We waited 25 minutes for two slider combo, which was .... okay. They were big pieces of chicken and the hot was pretty hot but for the price we would have loved a drink for our combo and for the food to come out slightly hotter.

Second time at this venue thanks to its amazing customer service. We ordered their reaper hot level- combo #2 and I thought it was amazing! My bf thought it was a little too spicy and something in between extra spicy and reaper would have been ideal for the second highest level of spice. There wasn't much people dining in, but they had a lot of pick up orders. I would highly recommend ordering in person as it's much cheaper than ordering through third party apps. This venue operates really efficiently; my order was ready within 5 minutes!

Simple and clear menu. Extremely clean space. Very friendly service and great hot chicken and fries to top it off. My husband and I grabbed two sliders and fries before leaving Toronto and were definitely pleased. We had mild and medium. The flavor was great and the spice matched the level. I had the Medium, but think I could have gone up to hot. The slaw on the sandwich was great, Dave's sauce added a little kick, and the fries were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Our order also came out really fast. This was an overall great experience.

This is an absolute must try for everyone. When Dave's first arrived in Canada the hype was insane, but surprisingly I never got around to trying it until recently. Pro tip: Order pick up ahead of time so you don't have to stand in the lines outside I recommend getting the two slider combo, it is well worth it and much better than just the tender. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the fries were very good as well.

Just stopped here for a lunch. Never been to a Dave's before. UNREAL! Actually good and spicy! The patio space upstairs was beautiful as well! I can't wait to come back

A new addition to the neighbourhood that replaced long mainstay Stratengers. This is the first Nashville hot chicken spot in the hood and the signage out front definitely lets you know that! We stepped into Dave's Hot Chicken as curiosity got the better of us. The inside of the resturant is bright and white with some pop tunes playing over the speakers. There is a dining area on the main level and upstairs with cafeteria style tables and chairs. We ordered the 2 tenders with fries (upgraded to cheese fries) combo that also comes with a slice of white bread, pickles, and their Dave's sauce. They allowed us to pick a different heat level for each tender which I think is a good move. We only opted to sneak a little bit while in the restaurant before booking it home to really enjoy it. The chicken tenders were really juicy on the inside with that spicy heat powder on the outside. I really liked the crinkle cut fries but the extra dollar for the cheese wasn't really worth it. The pickles were absolutely needed bit of acidity between bites of the spicy chicken and cheesy fries. So the question I never answered myself was do you eat it like a sandwich or just graze amongst everything in the box????

We always get their combo with the 2 burgers and we share the fries as the meal is pretty heavy. Everything is delicious, the chicken is so well seasoned, and they give you a spicy mayo dip you can dress your burg or dunk your fries. There's also a patio upstairs now (El Patio - not Dave's Hot Chicken) and the vibes are super chill, and you can grab drinks while nomming on your chicken burgs.

Came back again. There was still a dinner rush but was still able to get my order promptly. I had the combo and the chicken was juicy and full of flavor.

The interior of the place was properly though out and well designed. Self order stations are available to order from and the ordering interface is one of the better systems I have seen. When I dined in early afternoon on a weekday it was a rather slow day. There were a couple of Shake Shack employees constantly roaming about the premises ready to attend to any customer request. 1 such employee was thoughtful enough to serve me and a group of other customers some water. I have mixed feelings about the bathroom setup. Yes, it is clean and there were a few toilet rooms available, but it requires a code to be entered prior to using. The door screen shows as vacant but an employee still needs to give out the 4 digit code needed to access the toilets. I also found some issues with the water faucet sensors. It is inconsistently picking up my gestures resulting in an unreliable and unsteady flow of running water when I was washing my hands.

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5…read moreAmbiance: 4/5 Food: We had our office holiday dinner here and 15 people attended. We did a set menu which had 3 courses. The first course was Labneh with bread, hummus, & beef tartare. Second course was Lamb pide & pear salad. Third course was grilled branzino, middle eastern fried chicken, black truffle rice, and thrice cooked fries. Then there was dessert which was chocolate mousse cake & baklava. Because of my many food allergies the main server for our table was very attentive & specific in asking me what I wanted as modifications. For example I got a wagyu beef pide instead of the lamb. Every dish was really delicious, presented well & quite filling. I couldn't eat all of the food. Though I tried almost everything. Service: The pacing of the dishes was quite masterful. They really paid attention to when the food was going to come out. As I mentioned above the main server was very attentive to my food allergies. I really appreciated that as some restaurants aren't as attentive. The food was served family style so everyone could take what they wanted from the serving dishes. The dishes were served in little bowls along the tables with each bowl serving about 4 people. We had asked for one long table so it was a little snug. But we made it work. Ambiance: For dinner the lighting of the space is really dim. LOL. I would have appreciated just a little bit more light. The restaurant is in an old building so to use the washroom you had to go down two flights of stairs. The dining area is small also. But it's a pretty space. As mentioned above we asked for one long table to seat 15 people. I was expecting square tables but it was a bunch of small round tables pushed together. So the tables were really crowded with food from all the dishes. But the servers made sure to take empty serving dishes away as soon as possible. The music was a little loud for me so I had to yell to be heard. The place was packed though. Everyone at our table enjoyed the food, the service & atmosphere. The restaurant is close to Roy Thompson Hall & the other theatres nearby so it's a convenient location as well. It's too bad this place is only open for dinner. I would have loved to see how they would operate a lunch time service. In any case, Byblos was amazing. I would come back here again to try other dishes! Note: Some of my pics of the main dishes didn't turn out so it's mostly desserts that are pictures

I ordered the following: 1. BYOP: Garlic Shrimp, penne, rose sauce, broccoli, black olives, mushrooms. It automatically comes with sliced green peppers and chopped parsley. 2. Opening Special ($6.99) x 2. For the BYOP, they didn't warn me it was medium spicy. I can handle it with a cold drink! The shrimp and penne were perfectly cooked. I loved the rose sauce. My choices of broccoli,  black olives, and mushrooms worked well together and with the base. The Opening Special was delicious; the Mac n Cheese part and BBQ Chicken were really good! Unfortunately, the BBQ was mildly spicy, and my son didn't like it; more for me! The customer service was good. It took them a long time to prepare the food (there were many orders prior to mine). But it was opening day, so hopefully, they will speed up their cooking. There is no free WiFi. The food stall is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button.
