Regular tables, comfy casual chairs or hightop benches in little alcoves. There are TV's everywhere so I imagine this place is quite active during game nights and other events. We came early evening during Ramadan so I'm sure it was the calm before the storm (so-to-speak). We were greeted at the door and offered anywhere we wanted to sit in the restaurant. They don't have paper menus so you'll have to either scan a QR code or go to their website to look at the menu. Our server walked us through some of the dishes and explained how some of the dishes were presented. We opted for the rice dish, Yakhni Pulao and garlic naan with butter. The dish was big enough to share between two to three people and I would have only needed to order one naan as they're quite large. The veal was so tender and delicious and the rice was extremely flavourful. The dish over all had the slightest amount of heat. Nothing overwhelming, just a nice slight warmth. If you don't like spice, I'm sure it's something they could leave out. The naan was incredibly delicious and I would definitely order the garlic one again. I was really impressed with restaurant. It included two leg quarters, salad, rice, naan, and a drink for only $9.99. Not a bad deal. It took about fifteen minutes for my order to be completed. A few other customers were ahead of me, also waiting, some impatiently. Once ready, I sat at one of the tables out front. Hmmm, no napkins? Only a spoon to eat with? Where's my drink? Once I got that sorted, it was time to eat. The chicken was a tad on the dry side and the flavours a bit understated. The salad consisted of lettuce, cucumbers, and red onions. The naan was large and fresh. The rice was plentiful, nice and fluffy. I'm used to bolder flavours in Indian cuisine. Overall, it was just okay. I'm used to bold flavours but I found the chicken a bit underseasoned. While the food wasn't bad, it wasn't as good as I was anticipating. Hopefully, these issues will be sorted out in time.
