While I was super disappointed at first and almost walked out, I figured since I was already there, I'd finally give their chicken a shot. I ordered the #1 combo: two tenders, fries, sliced bread, Dave's sauce, pickles, and a drink. At roughly $25 to $27, the price felt pretty steep for a takeout tender combo. I know Drake is backed as an investor here, so maybe that plays into the pricing, but it definitely felt expensive. That said, the portions are solid. The tenders were large, super juicy, and well cooked. The Medium heat level was spot on for what I wanted and it gave a nice light kick without being overly spicy. Honestly, the fries were my absolute favorite part of the meal! They were crispy, super tasty, and perfectly seasoned. The Dave's sauce was good, though a pretty familiar flavor profile if you've had similar chicken joints. The pickles added a nice crunch. My only critique on the side is the bread... getting plain white bread slices feels like a missed opportunity. If they toasted it into Texas toast, it would take the meal to another level. The fountain drink size included in the combo felt surprisingly small, especially for a takeout order. The Leslieville location itself is fantastic. The exterior design really catches your eye from the street, and the inside is spacious with two levels. I especially loved the neighborhood-specific touches, like the custom "Leslieville" graffiti art on the wall... it gives the space a great local personality. Service was friendly. Is it a bit too pricey to become a regular spot? Yeah, probably. But the quality and juiciness of the chicken are definitely there. I'll be back down the road but only to finally get my hands on those cheese sticks (and maybe a milkshake next time!).

Probably the fav part of the meal was the fries and the dipping sauce. Would have preferred if it was a bit of a crispier chicken, the lite mild was too mild for me, and the chicken was a bit dry and chewy. The tenders were each really small they gave had given us three pieces instead of two. The interior is spacious with a few seats available for 2-4 people. The ordering was easy and service was efficient.

The cashier took SEVERAL minutes just labeling and staring at each box, even though we all ordered the same thing, and then another minute just to put everything into a paper bag. Maybe it was his first day? Another frustrating part was that the washrooms were locked, so we could not even use them while we were there, which was a mild inconvenience, but I think bathroom access in a spicy chicken shop is a bit crucial. On top of that, it is pretty expensive for what you get. Overall, the food is the only thing really saving this place. It tastes incredible, but because of the slow service, locked washrooms, and high prices, I probably would not go back.

I ordered a slider; there are 7 spice levels to choose from (from No Spice to Reaper) and I chose Mild. Pickles and onion, etc. are included and I found the slider to be delicious. One of my co-workers agreed with my appraisal - we both also concurred that the meat portion was quite large/generous - and mild was the right choice for my spice level. I found 6ix Burgers offering various BOGO deals on burgers. I got the Argonauts burger combo. The Argos burger is indeed named after the Canadian Football League's team in Toronto. It consists of a beef patty stuffed with cheese. You select all topics you want to your heart's content. The combo defaults to fries and a drink. You can swap out the fries for other sides, such as mac and cheese, and jalapenos poppers. This place names its burgers after familiar Toronto sports teams, streets, highways, and landmarks. For instance, there's a DVP sandwich, which is a sunny-side-up egg and beef bacon with cheese. It's named after the Don Valley Parkway, a highway that is commonly known as the Don Valley parking lot because it's so congested with cars at a standstill during rush hour. Maybe it's not the best to name an item after the DVP. I'd still get this sandwich, though. I love bacon and an egg as a sandwich and more. I scheduled my food for pickup between 4 pm and 4:30 pm. I placed my order in Stouffville. It was ready just before 4 pm. Um, okay. This place is more than punctual! It made me run ten minutes late getting down to Markham. 6ix Burgers is in a plaza that I used to frequent often perhaps over a decade ago. It is located where Burger Factory used to be. I'm a bit sad that it closed. I never dropped by and I wish that I had. The Burger Factory that I go to the most is by my workplace in Mississauga. Despite the huge mounds of snow in the parking lot, I found a parking spot fairly close to the eatery and backed into it. I then walked into the place. There were to people sitting in a booth, waiting for their food. It was a good sign. I walked up to the counter, stated my name, and said that I had an Uber Eats order. The nice woman handed me a bag with a paper bag in it. She let me know that my food was in this bag and I could help myself to a couple of drinks in the fridge. I thanked her and wished her a good day. There was Barbican bottles in the fridge. I had specified Diet Coke and felt that it works best with burgers, so I got that instead. The Diet Coke was at the bottom. It's the perfect height for toddlers, but not for me! Anyway, I grabbed my drinks and placed them in my bag of food. I drove home for a super late lunch at practically 5 pm. I was ready for grub. Let's start with the fries. Although they looked limp and needed some sort of fries ressusitation, they were good. They had the right amount of seasoning. They were slightly crispy and limp, but creamy on the inside. I normally don't dig fries, but these were so good with the salt that I ate them without the ketchup that was in the bag. The Argos burger. If you like Burger Factory, think of this burger as the Juicy Lucy. The burger has cheddar cheese stuffed in it. You take a bite and the cheese oozes out. Highly delightful, yet messy, to eat. The beef was seasoned well. I got 6ix sauce, ketchup, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and relish on my burger. I loved everything about it. The bun was soft and perfect to hold everything inside. Yum! I wish that I had added beef bacon, but this burger certainly hit the spot. All items on the menu are halal. This place was a great find. It looked nothing like the cheeseburger from Burger Factory that's posted online. The patty was not even thick at all! I received a thin patty which contained cheese but I had to get to the center of the burger to get a bit of cheese oozing out. The rest of the patty was essentially a Mc D caliber patty. If you look at the pic I posted, the meat to bun ratio was also totally off. The bun was bigger than the meat so I had bites where I was literally just eating thick bread and veggies. The cheeseburger photos show big chunky meat patties so I'm wondering if I got an employee who didn't really know what he was doing? I opted for a combo and got mac n' cheese bites as my side. These were exceptionally disappointing. I'm no mac expert but I'd be willing to bet a dollar that they use Kraft dinner in these mac n' cheese bites. Overly salty, overly processed. No dipping sauce, just came with two ketchup packets on the side. For a meal that hit me for over $20 I truly felt ripped off. This combo was NOT worth $20+. I had a double Shack burger from Shake Shack literally a week prior to eating here and that burger was MILES better and way more "gourmet" tasting than this one.

Seemed a little too adventurous for me so I went with their promo at the time which was 2 cheeseburgers and fries for (i think $15). Burgers were 5oz each so you can imagine how full I was. Very nicely cooked, they use a really good quality sesame bun which I think makes a big difference when you bite into the burger. Good toppings and the fries were nice and lite. Not too oily and salty as other places are. A great deal that is probably not around anymore haha.
