This restaurant has received wildly varying reviews, and finally I needed to judge for myself. I boldly ordered a 16 piece fried chicken family dinner, with fries, onion rings and mac and cheese as our sides. I phoned the order in, just to ask a few questions before ordering. The meal was ready in about 25 minutes, as promised. The staff who helped me and took my order was friendly, informative and kind. He was also honest. He steered me away from the mashed potatoes that I was considering, telling me, "They aren't the real thing." When I asked more, he continued to explain that they are a dehydrated, just-add-water type situation. So I quickly nixed those, and went with the mac and cheese instead. Knowing that it was my first visit, he threw in a bottle of ginger ale for free!! The meal itself was delicious and satisfying, with a few misses, as follows: Chicken - 5/5: it was so flavorful and juicy, with a substantial yet delicately crisp coating Masala Fries - 5/5. Crispy and mildly spiced . Onion Rings - 5/5. These were among the best my family and I have had. Biscuits - 2/5. Sorry to say, the biscuits were disappointing , with a cake-like, rather than flaky, crumb and bland flavor. Chicken Kitchen, please get a new biscuit provider! However, it's not worth taking off a star when the rest of the meal was on point. Chicken Kitchen, Bravo!! I'll be back,! Since he was handling both customers and food, it didn't seem hygienic and honestly made me feel uncomfortable. I wanted to mention it to him at the time, but the restaurant was very busy with many customers waiting for their orders, and I didn't want to embarrass him in front of everyone. Food hygiene should be one of the highest priorities for any restaurant. I hope the management addresses this issue and ensures that all staff maintain proper personal hygiene, including keeping their nails short and clean, for the safety and confidence of customers.

The chicken itself was flavourful, incredibly crispy without being greasy or heavy, and still juicy inside. The fries were also really good, and the Dave's Sauce was delicious. We ended up using every last bit of it on both the chicken and the fries. The restaurant was bright and clean, and I noticed an employee regularly wiping down tables, which I appreciated. My only complaint is the price. The two-tender meal with fries is $18.99, and drinks are an additional $2.99. It looks like a combo, but it doesn't actually include a drink, so the total adds up. I placed an order through Uber Eats and got two regular habibi bowls, which were BOGO. I got them without any pita chips on top. I went with the original, which was chicken, tzatziki, fried onions, spicy garlic sauce, and parsley, all on rice. I chose mild hot for the bowls. I got an estimated time to pick up my order. I was at Malvern Town Centre, so it took no time to drive over here. I got here at around 3:30 pm. There was plenty of parking. I backed into a spot and headed inside the eatery. I was greeted by a friendly woman. I was the only customer. I let her know that I had an Uber Eats order under my name. She nodded and fetched a paper bag with my name on it. I thanked her. We wished each other a great day. I then headed to my car, secured the goods, and drove home. This Tahini's was the second one that I have ever visited. The one in Richmond Hill has steady business. It was a nice change that this location wasn't as crazy at this hour. For dinner, I had one of the bowls. I had the other one the following day. It was my first time having a habibi bowl. Tomatoes are thinly sliced but few in quantity I felt. The pineapples were canned pineapples but decent amount. Overall a pretty filling dish - would recommend the larger size for dinner.
