Online ordering doesn't work here. Tried it, order wasn't started until my wife arrived to pick up, emailed corporate about experience, they actually CALLED my wife, issued us a credit. Tried again with online order. Again, order not started until my wife arrived. Complete replay of first experience, but this time no phone call. Afterschool hang out for stoners and students, Delicious, hot, cheap food that never gets old and always manifests itself in different forms. WTF people it's taco bell. Of course you are gonna have the wet craps but it's cheap. You don't order a taco made with a Dorrito's shell if you are looking for gourmet food. Just don't eat it before a date or on lunch break. The best time is after work ON YOUR WAY HOME and then grub down and watch some Sportscenter and wait for the effects in the comfort of your home. For starters 12/01/08 I just got off a 7 and a half hour flight from new york city, NEw York, That was supposed to land in long beach airport, due to fog we were diverted to ontario airport. after sitting in the plane for another hour and a half we finally got off the plane, then waited 2 hours for our ride because Jet blue lies and says there is charter buses waiting for us outside the terminals, NO BUSES! despite all of this on the way hom I wanted to stop and get some food because I havent eaten all day since the morning. We stopped at taco bell on stearns and Palo Verde, ordered food and went on our way. this was at 1AM went home only to find both the sodas bad no syrup and my grilled stuffed burrito burnt to a crisp, no sauces at all, and food was cold. I was a little upset so I called and asked for the manager. The mexican woman on the phone started playing games with me right off the bat and I couldn't get any information out of her and she kept saying the manager was in the bathroom, I proceeded to ask for her name and she hung up on me laughing with her co worker and all i could hear was loud hispanic music in the backround. Fed up I grabbed my food went all the way across long beach to let them know this wasnt funny, And while getting off the freeway We ended up sliding out on the palo verde south offramp and going over two curbs taking out three posts a chain link fence and ended up in a tree. now dealing with my insurance company I might have to total my girlfriends car that belonged to her mom which is now passed away. for my input on this, I have had better days but to tell you the truth I cant wait because I am going after this woman's job. I can't believe that someone would play these games with a loyal longtime customer. I have to withdrawal from getting mad because This is un-acceptable. TAINTED FOOD. DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT STOMACH ISSUES. My family has gotten sick off their food 4 times in the past 4 months from this place. Four different family member, four different visits. The cinnamon twists tasted like melted plastic and I called the manager to let them know. I didn't want my money back, they offered me that, but it was so horrible we couldn't eat them. My mom went this past weekend and got so seriously sick to her stomach that we have decided never to eat here again. Just to much. Its not worth it. We haven't gotten sick from Del Taco across the street so I guess that is my new choice for burritos and tacos fast food. I've been a lifelong customer of Taco Bell and have visited many locations but I went out of my way to write this review because I have been consistently impressed with one particular employee at this location. He often works the drive thru and his friendly service and genuine attention is noticeable - especially in the fast food industry. Unfortunately I haven't caught his name yet (but if I do, I'll come back to add it), but he always ends our interaction with a friendly "your dinner is served". It doesn't feel cheesy but refreshing and if I'm debating which fast food place I want to visit, his service always tips the scales. Hard to find service like that these days. read more

So against my better judgement I came here after class around 10. The line for the drive thru was super long so we decided to go inside in order. We walk in the doors and stand in line and the cashier says they're closed on the inside. I asked him "why are the doors unlocked?" And he responds that they are locked. The cashier who took our order was extremely friendly his name is Michael and he heard us talk in our language and hw asked where we were from and started a conversation. Taco Bell is always a hit or a miss. I come to this location frequently because I live close by. I don't expect it to be awesome service because it is what it is. I know what to expect when I go. The food tastes like other taco bells, and they have been fairly good with order accuracy. The dining room usually could use a sweep and a couple table wipe downs, but it is not uncomfortably messy. They have a self serve drink station and a bar with utensils, salsa packets, and napkins. The drive thru line usually takes no more than 5 minutes, you pay and get your food in the same window. Well good and bad news! We - the wife and I - have not been back to this Taco Bell since they ALWAYS screwed up our orders, and I mean ALWAYS! They constantly hire young kids that either did not listen, or did not care, or both, and one's order was always apt to be different than actually placed at the drive-through. That said, we decided to go back yesterday (02-11-17) to try the new Chalupa tacos, and boy, would mixing up our order have been a WELCOMED alternative to the (correct) food order that we actually received! First off, we also ordered some "Taco Supreme's" and they were so oily that the shell fell apart while we opened and ate them while STILL in the Taco Bell's parking lot! Fonzie could have kept his hair lubed with the grease from these taco's, and the only thing "Supreme" about them was the "extra slick and greasy" nature of the oil spilling out from what was left of the dissolving shell! Thinking that was the WORST that could happen, we then tried our Chalupa tacos, and - ICK! - the grease suddenly looked like a welcomed option! The chicken shell was tasteless, at first, although by the second or third bite, the "heat" began to gather in our mouths, and we were most happy to have had cold drinks with us! The end result of the Chalupa is that it is a very SPICY but otherwise tasteless mess, a food hazard to be avoided at all cost and effort, and soon - we are sure - to disappear from the Taco Bell menu, if not by popular demand, then by morbid awfulness. Ordering from Taco Bell, or should we say Taco Hell is not a future option for us, and we will NOT NOT NOT be further endangering our tummy's health by going back! read more

Dear tacobell on Stearns, I would like to start off by saying Tacobell is my life. I could literally live off your food forever. Any who, let's start this story off in the drive thru. I think your employee has hit the bong 1-10 too many times. Ya know what I mean? Like 1 taco short of a combination plate. Anyways after talking to Spicoli via the drive thru speaker I pulled up to the window. Sure as sheet, I was welcomed by a dude with red eyes that would make Willie Nelson blush. After struggling with the register and doing 3rd grade math to figure out the change..he made this visit extra special by botching the whole order. My old lady was pissed the rest of the night because you put sauce on her quesadilla after we requested no sauce. Dude..she's PMSing...like my life isn't hell already. Thanks for that jerk. We were hungry for Taco Bell tacos today and the closest one was Palo Verde and Stearns. The drive thru line was out into the street because school had just ended so we had to go inside. It smelled worse than the animal shelter inside. They must use really dirty water, rags and mops for cleaning. The tacos aren't nearly as good as we remembered so probably won't go there again. The only good point is the young man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. I guess the employees get used to the smell. read more

I went through the drive-thru the other day and this Taco Bell is one of the worst I experienced. It took a long time for them to finally get me my food. You would think that if it took that long for them to get my food to me it would be hot or fresh. Nope. My food was extremely cold and the taco supreme I got had a drop of sour cream.
