Warned my friend ahead of time about ordering from a La Crosse Taco Bell, but here was our experience... ordered pick- up from Mormon Coulee Rd. location on way back from baseball game in Milwaukee and prepaid. Hadn't eaten all afternoon. $50 order. Pulled into drive- through around 1am. Only 2 cars in front of us. Sat there for close to half- hour. Finally, we noticed the driver of truck at the window was in an argument with the employee. He drove away yelling and giving the middle finger. We backed out of drive-through... the car in front of us did the same. No one in that line got food. We requested reimbursement. Seems to be common at Taco Bell locations in La Crosse. Last time I ordered from campus Taco Bell my tacos were loose in the bag, not wrapped in paper, broken hard shells. Time before that their, "system was down," after taking my order when I went through on my lunch break. Suffice it to say last night was their last chance to get my money. Either hire staff that actually kind of want to work and care just a little bit, or seriously, close some of your Wisconsin locations, it has become ridiculous. read more

i have been there multiple times in the last couple weeks. everytime i place an online order at least 20 minutes ahead of time to give them time to have it done. every single time they don't even have the food started before i even get there and then i have to wait 10-15 minutes for tacos. it's ridiculous. they also have terrible customer service and are always short staffed. they never smile or say thank you or sorry for the wait. read more

Ordered 4 spicy potato soft tacos. It is supposed to come with creamy jalapeño sauce -- they put a ranch sauce on it instead. Ordered a crunch wrap -- fell apart immediately. Ordered green chili queso sauce just to try it. Instead of asking me for a substitution, the person at the counter was like, "I gave you nacho cheese sauce instead." This Taco Bell's is disgusting. After ordering my food, I noticed that the person making my food was also texting on her phone (with her gloves on) and then goes back to touch my food, with the same glove she touched her phone with. When I saw what happened I cancelled my order. Not only was that disgusting, but I also found a cockroach at the sauce area. I can't make this up people. I am amazed this dump actually refurbished rather than closing down. It is notorious in the community for being HORRIBLE. The worst Taco Bell in the history of Taco Bells. They get your order wrong EVERY TIME without fail. When you go back to have the order corrected, they look at you confused and can't figure out how to correct it. You finally just walk away frustrated and accept defeat. You won't get what you ordered. Cut your loses, vow never to return, until a month later when you're craving Taco Bell and the vicious cycle continues. The only hope for this Taco Bell is to fire every single employee and start from ground zero. They suck, and badly. read more

Went to Taco Bell and got the grilled cheese burrito. Was very tasty. In fact, I went back to order a second & third one. Although the food was delicious, the aftermath was not. Ever had one of those farts that just didn't go as planned?? Well I hadn't had one in years... but today was the day. As if 2020 couldn't get any worse I had just purchased a new mattress and sheets set and was watching the Panthers vs. Vikings game and felt a rumble in the jungle (if ya know what I mean). Worst Taco Bell in the entire USA. Horrible management, orders are never correct. Staff is not helpful or friendly. Every time we have gotten drive thru the order is incorrect. The lettuce and onions taste like dirt. I have eaten at TB's all over and this one by far misses the mark every single time. A major change needs to happen to this TB as it has been this way for years now. I don't understand how it's still in business. Must be only due to the location and convenience. Slow service, dirty environment, and sub-par food. Big fan of Taco Bell, but corporate needs to check into this particular site. The wait for the food was ridiculous...twenty five minutes for 3 tacos! Not even during lunch or dinner rush. When I did receive it, the meat was cold and the lettuce was warm. The dining room looked as though it had not been swept nor tables cleaned since opening. The cashier was pleasant, but there was a communication breakdown somewhere as we requested eat-in but recieved our order in to-go bags. Perhaps the worst part was the environment. The family-friendly music playing over the PA system was greatly overshadowed by loud, vulgar rap music being played in the kitchen. Glad my kids weren't with me or I would have raised cain! Wow.. just an embarrassment to the Taco Bell/ YUM brand. My wife and I went to have a quick lunch before I went to see the cardiologist in Lacrosse. Placed our order and sat down waiting for our name to be called. 25 minutes later we had our order. The guy making food was doing so one handed as he was talking on a cell phone with the other hand. Three people walked out before putting in a order because no one was at the counter to take orders. Our chulpas where hard as a rock. My wife couldn't even eat it. Didn't ask to have it replaced because didn't have 20 plus more minutes to stay there. Then to top it off,as seen in the pictures the bathroom was probably the nastiest bathroom I've ever been in. The porta potties at a music festival are cleaner. Just no excuse for this restaurant to be this bad at all. read more

They deserve -5 stars! We had to come to LaCrosse for my moms surgery and came by on the way home to Stoddard for a 12 pack. When we got home half of our tacos had no meat! And the best he could do after coming all the way back to town was refund half of our tacos! I have never been so disappointed in my life. The manager who took my order is Bruce! Bruce made me wait another 20 mins and let the last 5 people that ordered after me! this is disgusting awful fast food. I even brought back the tacos to show him. Horrible service. I pull up to the drive through and was made aware they were out of Hard Shell Tacos and Diet Pepsi. I asked if they were out of all hard shells or if they still had the flavored ones. They still had the flavored ones, so I asked to get the "big box" but sub a fiery taco shell out for where the regular hard shells are supposed to be. The "big box" contains a burrito, stuffed hard taco, and a regular crunchy taco. The lady told me I could get the fiery taco subbed for the regular, but that I would have to pay extra! I pay extra, because they ran out of Hard shells??? Needless to say after I objected that fact, the manager came on after words were exchanged and said they would not charge me-which is how it should have been from the beginning. After paying for my food, it took at least 4 min (plus the 4-5 arguing) for me to actually receive my food. Once I got my food and got back to work, I realized they didn't even sub out the crunchy taco correctly and gave me a soft taco instead, which I hate!!! I will NOT be going back to this place. I just tried to get a meal at a little after 10:00 am and it's not even open!!! There were 3 girls here also trying to get in, one of them said she just called and was told they "got a late start" and won't be open for another hour. This location sucks. I used to stop here often, but the last few years I regret stopping here. If they aren't out of something it is amazing. They are on my way to and from work so they are conveniently located for me and I love tacos. I have been here when they are out of taco meat (not bad because I can get steak for no extra), they were out of steak once I wasn't happy. The the I stopped in and they were out of hardshells, chalupa shells and I forget what else was laughable. Then I wanted to try the naked chicken chalupa both times I stopped in the didn't have them.
