We almost always order delivery. The pizza is great and we have our favs! They always gladly accommodate our 1/2&1/2 requests, add ons and deletions. We love it. The chicken is awesome!!! read more

We stopped for dinner Monday 14 July about 6:45p. One group of like 6 or 8 was finishing up, another table of 3 was serviced. Our party of two sat....took 10 minutes just to get attention for drink orders. After about five minutes we asked a girl bussing a nearby table if we had a server? She said another girl would be out. I was a bit taken aback that she put bussing a table over helping hingry customers. There was another woman working, maybe 40s or 50s, she had the two tables that had food. As we sat...ignored and hungry, 20 minutes had passed. We got up and left. Im not sure how this happens or how they found it acceptable? My mom said she has been here for lunch, which is a buffet. She said we'd eventually come back for that. As dinner is a complete bust. Writing this i am just dumbfounded that thiis happened... Wow!! I did get a chuckle when we arrived my mom pulled on the door, said they're not open. I replied: there's too many cars here not to be. I pointed to the sign on the door. Service? Do better. read more

Ordered pizza and cheese toast for takeout. The pizza had a lot of cheese and sauce, but the toppings were almost non-existant. The cheese toast was cold, and all the slices were stuck together so bad that we ended up throwing the whole order of cheese toast in the garbage. We tried to contact the restaurant, but they never responded. The chances of us going back there for anything is between very slim and not at all. read more

Usually we like to come here on Wednesday for the salad/pizza bar, because they also have broasted chicken. There is an upcharge on Wednesdays. Today, after waiting one hour, and no chicken. Everyone deserves a refund of the upcharge. Also, no diet soda. Phone orders went out first and we saw many chicken orders leave while we were waiting. Very disappointed. During that hour we were there, the restaurant was full. No one got any chicken. They should not be advertising that broasted chicken when they don't have it. read more

Very good food great pizza the sauce the cheese just over all great food highly recommend to anyone wanting some great pizza.

Ordered pizza for delivery, waited 2 hours and 15 minutes. We called twice and was told it was on the way. When it arrived it was undercooked and cold. Won't be ordering from here again! read more

This is the 3rd pizza in a row that they burned for me! I don't know who's making them but the quality has gone down big time. I've spent alot of money over the years with these folks, it's a shame that some of the employees don't care about taking pride in their job. I won't spend another dime at this joint!! read more

Four stars only because they add a surcharge for using credit cards. It's 2022, not 1985. Cash is no longer the primary option. Other than that I was quite surprised by this place. We were expecting a cheap pizza buffet style restaurant but it's actually made to order and delicious. My husband and I both enjoyed the pizza very much. For dining in, there's no hostess. Seat yourself and a waitress will come with menus and take your order. While a little dated, the dining room was clean and well cared for. I noticed a few longer tables so it's suitable for a larger group if necessary. Prices are reasonable and apparently they also have great breasted chicken. I'll definitely have to try it next time! read more

Service is slow at eat-in. Food is ok. Delivery is super slow. Won't be eating here again read more

Pizza is the way you would make it, toppings are put on full, not measured out, no item is skimped on. Plenty of toppings. A staple in the community, owner knows you, and works daily. Amazing read more

So yummy! I am a big fan of the crust, sauce, and the amount of cheese they use! It's great to support local and even better when they are so so good! read more

Great pizza, on time service. Price is 25% too high in my opinion. But it's holmen's best pizza for sure!

ordered a pizza an hour and a half later they told us it was just put in the oven and it would be 30 minutes more. this is the second time their service has been horrifi. I will never order from them again nor recommend them. I will also tell the owner of the resort we are stayiing at to remove them from the their recommended site. read more

This pizza is the real deal!! It ranks right up there with the best pizza I've ever had.

I ordered a pizza living less than a mile away from them and received it lukewarm. I called a few weeks later and they refused to help me. They said I should've called that night. Well I'm done with them!!! They told me to call the owner? And she hung up on me without any explanation!!! read more

From the beginning of my call, I should have known it was not going to be good. The person receiving my call did not know how to take my order ( she was "new and never took orders before but we figured a good way for her to learn" I was told by the 2nd person taking over the call) My thought was, poor girl, didn't get any training. I ordered a medium deluxe, go light on the cheese, for delivery. She says that's $21.79. I said the menu online says $15.29. She said, "This is with delivery charge." (Not true) I asked if I can give her my credit card. She failed yo tell me there is a fee for credit card use. "Should be delivered about an hour or more." Delivery was just over an hour, he asks for signature, the print tape was so low on ink I could not read it. It cost me $26.80 + for a medium pizza!!! The crust was like chewing wet leather. Soggy bottom. The peppers and onions were hard, the sausage had no flavor at all, and the cheap cheese was so rubbery, I couldn't even chew/swollow it after I asked to go light on cheese. VERY EXPENSIVE AND A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. I think it's time we stop allowing substandard product for exuberant pricing and poor customer service. There should be no more excuses. Will never refer anyone, too bad, as I like a hometown business. read more

They refused to let their staff wear masks during Covid, which tells me they don't really care about the customer. We had been ordering from Pizza Corral for 30 years, stopped because of that. What a shame. read more

At 1 point in time, pizza corral had 100%.Hands down the best taco pizza and broasted chicken in the lacrosse county area...... No I don't know about the taco pizza, but the last time I was there and had the broasted chicken it just wasn't what it use to be! Overall though pizza crowd is still a great establishment! read more

Having recently relocated to La Crosse I'm busily visiting nearby eateries with a view to building my list of local, go-to eateries. I was impressed by Pizza Corral's Original crust pizza albeit thin-crust and appreciated the taste of their sauce featuring the all-important ingredient - sugar - that combats the acidity of tomato sauces and pastes. I requested extra crispy crust that was well executed and learned for future visits to ask that they go easy on the cheese as they were far too generous for this diner's taste buds. Yes, Toto, I realize I'm in Wisconsin where cheese represents one of the 3 main food groups, the other 2 being beer and brats. The front-of-house staff were young, eager, very polite, nice people, and put their backs into attending to patrons. I look forward to my return visit. read more

Yes, it is the staple in the Holmen area......mainly because the food is excellent! The pizza is some of the best I've ever had-same goes for the broasted chicken! Julie has done a fab job since taking over for Len and Sandy a while back and I know most everyone that went to Holmen and moved away....when they come back to visit, they make it their #1 stop! Good memory stop but also-like I said, excellent food! Don't forget they have a GREAT weekday inexpensive lunch buffet! See ya' next time I'm in town Julie!!!! read more

I don't know why we keep order pizza from this establishment! They screw it up every time and barely acknowledge that it was their fault. When the order ticket is highlighted in yellow that there are special instructions for that order pay attention to the ticket! Or at least make it right and not hand you the pizza after I've paid and say I didn't notice that until I already made it, here you go! Terrible customer service and paying attention. I vow to never give them any of my money again! read more

We were in LaCrosse for a funeral. We called Pizza Corral to order 5 large pizza's and a couple salads. They went above and beyond. Pizza was coming out as we arrived. The sauce and crust were perfect. One of the best pizza we have ever had! The staff and manager went above and beyond. If we lived in the LaCrosse/Holman area this would be our only place to order pizza. Thank you for making a difficult time a little easier/ read more

I can't imagine who would read this review and go here except someone from the area. I mean really...who "visits" Holmen, WI? But...here goes... Pizza Corral is a default setting for Holmen. It's like how the recycling bin on Windows used to be...you can't delete it (unless you're Chuck Norris, but that's an entirely different topic) and you will use it. Pizza Corral will always have a place in my heart. It was the hangout for middle and high schoolers during the 80's. Just a short walk through the cornfield and you're there. Now, I've been around the earth enough at this point in my life and I've dined at some pretty great places...so I can't give it 5 stars, it's actually more of a 3-star place but it's getting 4 because it has a lot of meaning to me and...the food really is good. It's not OMG good, it's standard small-town eating but it's clean, friendly and comfortable. If you're somebody reading this and you've randomly found yourself in Holmen...go here. If you're visiting someone who already lives in Holmen I'm sure you'll end up here by default. Enjoy! P.S. To Lenny and Sandy, please put "Cult of Personality" by Living Color back on the jukebox, ok, thanks. read more

If you like massive amounts of cheese, like so much cheese you can't taste anything but cheese for a week, then go to Pizza Corral. The buffet pizza is full of pizzas you would never order unless you were drunk. Sausage and pineapple, seriously? Ever heard of pepperoni? Good old fashion pepperoni? Didn't think so. And the cheese, I really hope you like cheese. I love cheese, I live in Wisconsin. But that much cheese should be a crime. It's suffocating, it's cheese overload. It's so much cheese, you start to imagine a world where you never want to eat cheese again. And that's not a world I want to live in. Friendly staff but prices not worth the quality and massive amounts of cheese. Pass. I'd rather order Dominos, which is sad. read more

I should of hung up when the Phone Girl was rude about me making separate orders. Maybe I made a mistake ordering chicken from a pizza place, but the local residents INSISTED I try it. It took over an hour to get here, which was explained over the phone. My dinner was pact inside of a small container, chicken being on the bottom, with a basket of SOAKING wet fries thrown on top. Now, I understand how condensation works. I am not exaggerating when I say this basket arrived like it was dipped in the toilet. My fries were literally dripping onto the chicken below, peeling off skin. This meal was so terrible, that I would rather pay someone $10 to eat it. I never write reviews, and I think this is my first one. If you're from out of town, you're better off going to get food at the gas station. read more

This place was not bad! I got a onion, mushroom, and anchovies pizza for the first time and it was a nice size! It seems to be a bit expensive for pizzas but it was good. The only down fall to this place was it took one hour and fifteen minutes from the time that I placed the order to when it arrived at my door. I asked if he was busy and said, "yeah kinda." I still tipped but felt as though it wasn't deserved. Besides waiting a ridiculous amount of time, the place was nice! read more

We recently moved to Wisconsin and we have been trying to find the best pizza in the La Crosse area. We went here because it was highly recommended. We opted for the "extra thick crust" that our waitress thought was too thick but we trusted ourselves as the normal crust for this area is a cracker. It was OK the sauce was almost there, the cheese was very thick almost overpowering, and the crust while a nice thickness (not extra thick) had no taste. This is the best local pizza we have had to this point. My son had the chicken tenders which were not bad. The staff was very friendly and it was like the inside decor was like the pizza shops of my youth. read more

This pizza rocks! If only they would deliver to my area! But that does not stop our family from ordering!!!!!!

If you are looking for good pizza, look no further. Their pizza is great: lots of cheese, good toppings, flavorful sauce, and good thin and thick crusts. The salad bar is not awesome; basic stuff, but I don't go to a pizza buffet for salad. Do you? Plus the staff has always been kind and attentive. After reading another review that said "too much cheese", I'm like... what? No such thing. Man up. read more

I was in the area and wanted pizza. I thought I'd try it based on other reviews. I don't like that I had to wait longer than everyone else that arrived after I did to pickup a pizza that was supposed to have been ready and I didn't like this 'slightly' burnt pizza. Who blackens the cheese?? Pizza Corral that's who. Not cool looking nor tasting. That's my 2 cents from the Windy City! read more

Love, love the pizza, but the service is TERRIBLE. The last time we ate in we waited 20 minutes before a server even approached our table and that was only because I asked for someone to come over to wait on us. The children that wait on the tables need to be better focus on what they are doing and not chatting with friends in the kitchen. It was more of a social hour than it was a business. It was NEVER like this with the original owners. We never have it delivered since we've heard from others it takes SO LONG! read more

On a hot day after canoeing at the state park we went to the Charmont Hotel Restaurant waited and were ignored by the "hostess" and left. Definitely the heart of Holmen. They have good pizza, roasted chicken, and fried fish. The food is good, but it isn't anything that you can't find anywhere else in the area. They do deliver sometime, but they have special delivery hours. The service is good. It a popular hang out for the high school kids that saturate the building. Well, I and three of my family did visit Holmen! We needed lunch to satisfy a couple of budding foodie/teens; they both agreed that Pizza Corral was top-notch. We had the Deluxe, it had lots of cheese, fresh mushrooms, and plenty of sausage and Canadian bacon. The sauce was a little watery, but with lots of good tomato flavor and the right amount of spicy nip. It may be the best pizza I have ever had in small town Wisconsin. (That is, it's not superb pizza, but it's superior for the location.) Now, if they could just give up slicing it into three-inch squares and cut real slices... read more

AMAZING pizza. Honestly, the best I've ever tasted. Service is always great, and a very cute place to eat in.

I tried the lunch buffet today and it was absolutely awful! The pizza had no taste to it. I actually spit it out into my napkin. The salad bar was so so. The lunch was such a waste of money. A frozen pizza would have been 100% better. read more
