First time eating here. From Springfield, IL. I've never gone wrong eating at an establishment with "Big" in its name and Big Al's was a great choice. NY's should be a peak night, right? Pizza picked up about 8. Smelled weird (like vinegar) in the car. Tasted worse. Fresh ingredients SIMPLY do not produce that odor. Appearance and temperature of pie was fine. 1-Star rating since I threw it out. read more

How is it that I've lived in Onalaska for almost ten years and never once tried this pizza? It's awesome. We received a gift certificate and ordered pizza to-go tonight. We got a veggie and a Special, and both were fantastic. What hit me right away when I opened the boxes on the Kitchen table was the fact that the pizzas were wrapped in Aluminum foil - who does that? And after I peeled off the foil on both pizzas , the steam started filling the dining room. These pizzas were HOT, and when I say "hot," I mean burn-the-roof-of-your-mouth hot - when's the last time you had that happen on a delivery pizza? Five stars, ten out of ten, whatever the best rating is, these guys get it. I'll be heading back very soon. read more

Best pizza in the Greater La Crosse area. This is Wisconsin style "pub pizza" at its best. My go to is the Big Al's special. I'll be honest, I get takeout out there probably once a month and haven't had anything but the pizza, so no idea how anything else is, but doesn't matter to me as I go for the pie! read more

I ordered a Muenzenburger cooked medium delivery. The price was decent at $7.25 for just the burger and $3 up charge for 1/2 basket of fries, which I declined. The burger was overcooked, the bun was soggy and fell apart in my fingers. With mushrooms and pepperoni, it added some flavor but overall bland and lacked seasoning. Speaking honestly, almost $10 total for the burger, tip, and delivery and it was 100% not worth it. Any fast food restaurant in the area costs the same and has better burgers and baskets. I honestly cannot say anything positive about my experience besides the time frame for delivery was alright. read more

I ordered a pizza from Big Al's Too and it was terrific. This is the first time that I ordered from a local pizza place and the pizza delivered was HOT. My experience with this restaurant will ensure that I order again. I should also mention the pizza tasted great and the delivery person was very courteous . My son and I ordered a large pepperoni pizza delivered - the pizza was delivered roof mouth burning hot in about 20 minutes. Great delivery! The crust was sort of a thick thin crust - ok that doesn't make sense but I think you know what I mean. Crunchy crust with just the right amount of cheese and meat. The sauce was traditional and like I remember the ol pizza parlors used to serve. Definitely worth the little bit more money than the chain delivery pizza joints. I was a long time customer of Big Al' Too as I've lived in the Onalaska area for 7 years. I enjoyed the Philadelphia beef sandwich - their version of Philly cheesesteak. Well on the evening of 3/12/17 I ordered my favorite sandwich for supper after a long day at work. I received a cold, tossled tray of bread, meat and onions... Just strewn about. They'd completely forgotten the cheese, to warm the food or even to take care of it in transit. My appetite was beginning to dwindle. I used to think there was nothing worse than bad food. That was before I called Big ALS Too to bring the error to their attention. Upon which the employee offered to have another sandwich delivered in an hr in which my fries would be cold OR I could accept a $3 credit to to use towards a future order. I'm not sure how that's a solution to the $$ I spent for a service to avoid cooking and/or starving. That employee would do well to learn that we're not calling for food. We all have food. We're calling for service. The initial service was an error. And the solution offered wasn't a solution at all! I've got to say that I'm rather disappointed in this experience. Great little hole in Onalaska. Nice to not have to drive all the way downtown to La Crosse to get Big Al's.

Best thin crust pizza around. Fast delivery. Highly Recommend. When we think of pizza we think of Big Al's Too!

I live in La Crosse and there is really no reason for me to go to Onalaska to get this pizza when Big Al's is right down the street. That being said, the veggie deluxe is very good and I recommend it. read more

Delivery time is always decent, about 30 minutes. Fish dinner, mushrooms and chicken strips are a favorite.

We've had delivery twice - once at noontime and once in the evening. Both times the pizza was excellent. The crust is significant without being too much, there is a good amount of toppings and the pepperoni and sausage had very good flavor. The wings were good - not amazing, but good. read more
