I'm thinking how could you go wrong? Well, the pepperoni itself was good but the pizza was dry and the crust was too hard and no seasoning whatsoever. This was a late night grab for me. Searched "food near me" and this place popped up. I Ordered online, walked from my hotel and picked it up. Fast, easy, simple. Food was decent. Wasn't the best i ever had but it hit the spot for pizza and wings. I also felt the pricing was decent. I'd add this place to my rotation of quick take out options. I took my food togo so i didn't get to experience the inside ambiance but it was pretty empty when i did go in. I will say, if you're looking for a quick bite to eat, this is a solid choice. Rocky's Chicago Pizza is my all time favorite pizza. Anytime I'm in the area that there's a Rocky's I try to make it a point to get my face pizza. This was one of those times. I thoroughly enjoyed my pizza. There was some confusion with the counter person, she tried to upsell us which we agreed to buy the meal deal but then said oh wait, the Chicago is an additional upcharge to the deal. Oh, my goodness. I paid the driver 10.00 tip for delivery. I didn't get my pizza, just a medium, and he came to my back door like requested and then left without leaving the pizza. I guess I wouldn't recommend these people. I called several times to complain and they said that I was going to be given harassment charges, because I got mighty angry. This place has some of the worst fast food service..and that's saying a lot. This is the third time trying this store and each time the pizzas come out as if they have been sitting under the heat lamp for 3+ hours. This time I asked "would it be possible to get two fresh slices". They accommodated but when they brought it to the table there was a note attached. "2 "fresh" cheese pizzas". This would not have been a big deal, yet each interaction we had with this server (while ordering or asking for cheese sauce that we paid for) she would give us the most disrespectful look. The past 2 times I have order I was quoted a time and when I arrived had to wait an additional 15 to 20 minutes. I can understand a few extra minutes but falsely quoting by that many minutes is ridiculous just quote longer to begin with if you are busy instead of making a customer waste there time in the drive thru. read more

My son and I ate here this afternoon. The pizza was disappointing. There was hardly any cheese on half of it. Hardly any sauce. The crust tasted almost old. Came in to order. Step ladder right in front of cashier and had to yell order. They were putting up St. Patrick's decorations. Go to sit down and all tables are filthy. Perhaps a better thing to be doing instead of decorating would be cleaning tables. Got our bread sticks, they were raw and not cooked. Got our pizza and it was good. So, I've driven by plenty of these places and always said "I need to check this place out." I am sorry to say that today was the day, I should have gone to Burger King next door. So here's the break down, the salad bar is not too bad (someone need to teach them the proper way to cut up onions, but hey), the pizza was flavorless, super thick crust, which is fine if you like that sort of thing, the sauce and toppings added nothing to the bland base of super starch. I live quite some distance away (about 170 miles) but love this pizza and have it when I'm in town. The other day I had some kind of a slice of a combo which, of course, was on a huge slab of doughy bread. Normally, I would worry about carbs but it was a rough day. I had busted my glasses and had to drive 60 miles to get a pair at the mall. With a vision induced migraine, comfort food was needed. This stuff fit the bill while waiting for new spectacles. The salad bar was okay - nothing overly fancy - but one slice of pizza and a salad made for a good meal. It turned a crabby mood into smiles. It's funny how pizza will do that to you. We don't have any more Rocky Rococco Pizza locations in Iowa (as far as I know). What a crying shame. That makes the stuff from here even more of a treat. The one thing that really saved Rocky's review was the manager. Most of the employees that work here are kids that aimlessly bump into each other in a confused attempt to do as little work as possible. However, the manager was one of the hardest workers I've ever seen; he pretty much ran everything from the front to the back of the store. My pizza was about 15min late from the projected finish time; he apologized and offered a complimentary beverage. Professional and friendly man. I hope the owners appreciate him. The interior is a little odd. There are a number of recent updates, but some of the stuff near the register was very outdated. The interior felt like they'd combined a modern Culvers with an 80's roller rink. Some of the furnishings were shiny and new. Others were dusty and dirty. I'd never think to order nachos from a pie joint and, after seeing how gross the chip container was in person, I'll definitely pass in the future. They have a drive-through if you don't want to go inside. I'd still make sure that you call ahead if you plan on ordering a full pizza. It took about 35minutes for them to prepare our order. Not bad, but the projected time I was given over the phone was 15-20min (see above, the manager was very polite about the extra time). Our pizza was half off for joining their rewards program, so I picked up some wings and cheese sticks. The mozzarella sticks were tasty and cooked perfectly, but they were a tad on the expensive side (for what six of them cost here, I can get a 5pound bag at Festivals). The wings and pizza were good, but nothing amazing. For being Deep dish, we expected more caramelization of the crust. Overall, we like the food better than Dominos or Toppers, but there is other competition in the area that we prefer. It is a shame that they only have a salad bar and not a pizza buffet. Not impressed with the staff. I asked one of the girls for something to put my leftovers in and she gave me one of those sheets of foil. When I went up to get another piece because that one didn't even wrap all the way around the food, she just ignored me..looked right at me when I asked her for it and turned around and started giggling with another worker. Then a boy walked up so I asked him, and he told me to wait a minute and took the ladies order that was standing behind me. And the two girls just stood there talking until I finally had to raise my voice for them to even look at me. Rocky's has a unique pizza for sure and some of the best sausage around but sometimes is hit or miss on quality. Pizza and bread sticks can be overcooked on occasion and often there seems to be poor planning in having slices on hand. Overall it's good and can be worth the chance. read more

This is my favorite place in town. They always have great deals/coupons that we can use. The prices are reasonable for the amount of pizza you get. Plus their pizza is amazing both the original thick crust and the thin crust so the price makes up for it. They have many choices to pick from, whether it's the pizza topping, appetizers or the beverages. When you walk into the door you get greeted with "Hi welcome to Rocky Rococos" and always a huge smile on the employees faces. I wouldn't have to say anything bad about Rocky's because if they mess up on an order they are very responsible about and takes care of it very well.
