I guess I should thank my child for this one because her desire to find a playground is why we…read morefound this place. It's along the road just off the highway to the park we went to. It's next door to the hotel and when we went it wasn't so busy that we were ignored but they staff were certainly being kept on their toes (Father's Day weekend, graduations, hotel guests...). They have both indoor seating (complete with a bar if you'd like to sit there) and a really nice looking patio area. The food was fantastic. Our server was great too; she was really friendly and helpful with recommendations. I ordered the reuben sandwich, which was deeeelicious. The salmon was apparently wonderful too, from what my partner said. And I ordered the macaroni and cheese from the kids menu but it was huge. My baby loved it and since it was so huge there was too much for her, so I had the rest at a later time. They had a really good strawberry lemonade, of which we (my daughter and I, because of course she had to have some) drank several glasses. Our server even brought me a to-go cup of it because she said it looked like we were slowing down and may be near finishing. I didn't ask her to bring me a cup of it to go, and wouldn't have thought to ask, so I was very happy she brought it for the rest of our ride to Cleveland. But perhaps my favorite part of the meal were the appetizers. We ordered some macaroni and jalapeño bites which were a hit as far as myself and the little one were concerned, with not too much heat that she could enjoy them. The restaurant has a Brussels sprouts appetizer, but they do it as an "of the week" special. The week we were here it was inspired by elote, so it had some corn and cheese and stuff on it and they were so good. I love Brussels sprouts, and will happily try them prepared in a new way. As of June 2026, I think they are short staffed. Our food took a little longer than usual but that was ok; it gave us a chance to chat and relax. Just be patient if you visit in the near future since they are down an employee or two! But even with that, it was a pleasant evening, the staff were fantastic and helpful, and the food totally hit the spot.

I ate the nachos. This is not a one person meal, they are very large. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very prompt and personable. I also enjoyed the beer selection they had, not only on tap, but in bottles and cans. Inside the restaurant was clean and looked nice.

Reuben is a big sandwich. Half would have been enough. Come w/fries or substitute any other side.

The vegetables were not crisp and perhaps even frozen. Even their chips were unusually bland?!? The server was not proficient in English, making it a bit more complicated as well. The interior was nice, clean, alive and perhaps a bit too loud for dining. Would eat here again if in the area, but only because there aren't many other choices. Should really step up their game because the potential is there!

The restaurant is more of a open floor plan. Which I didn't really care for because it seems cheap and exposes most guests to others. But the food? Fantastic. Flavorful. Hot. Quick. Good prices. All of that. Their salsa is fresh and flavorful with the chips. I ordered the Quesabirrias. They were delicious. Crispy. Hot. And the meat was tender and the sauce and barria were good too. The Alambre was also very good and with fresh ingredients and sizzling. They have a very vast menu so it is difficult to make a choice, but you will not be disappointed. Service was okay. We waited quite a bit of time for our check, but food came out fast and we were seated quickly.

I honestly didn't expect much, but my Mom had been there with friends and wanted me to try it. The interior is well decorated and very clean. Our server couldn't have been nicer. We ordered breakfast sandwiches which were served quickly, hot, and were large. They were also delicious. The coffee is some of the best I've had at a restaurant in recent months (thank you!). We had the monte cristo deep fried with raspberry sauce. It was beautiful with plenty of stuffing and a light fluffy crust and the raspberry sauce made a delightful sweet and savory treat. We had an omelette with spinach (fresh), peppers (multi-colored and grilled), ham and Swiss. The eggs were fluffy and it came with nicely seasoned breakfast potatoes and grilled toast made with house-made rye bread that almost melted in your mouth. My husband had eggs over easy with bacon, French toast and an English muffin. All were good. I would definitely eat here frequently if we lived in the area!
