My first encounter with this local gem was over twenty years ago on my first visit to this Ohio town, and it's still around with improvements, enhancements and is still great overall! A terrific family run business. From its jam-packed with a wide array of dry and can goods on grocery shelves, great meats, extensive local baked goods, and a much renovated and expanded restaurant and really nice Mexican-style bar! If you're in town and are in the mood for an ice-cold Dox Equis and/or Jalisco style Mexican cuisine, this the place for you! Their goodies run the gamut from an incredible Pozole to Grilled Chicken delights, to delectable Burritos to mouthwatering tacos, some terrific, refried beans and incredible chips and salsa! At that point, I didn't have cash, so I had no choice. For anyone wondering, surcharges on debit cards aren't allowed under Visa and Mastercard rules. I get that places are trying to cover costs, but it should be clear up front and within the rules. When I did go in to pick it up at the appropriate time, they wouldn't even talk to me or say anything. I will not be bringing business for my customers back here again.
