Blue margarita

Super cool little place. We stopped here as there isn't many options as you travel through on a Sunday morning. Chips and salsa were complimentary and your usual fare. Got a blue something margarita- very good. Would do again. Both of us got the #10 combo, one beef and one chicken. Both were a little bland and light on flavor. All in all a basic Mexican restaurant.

Food was horrible. It's basic. I mean anyone can slap a pork butt in the oven and slow cook it and slap it on a corn tortilla. No flavor. They only use one tortilla which was like rubber, per taco. I asked for extra onion and cilantro. That didn't don't happen. Came with no limes. The beans were like baby food. The salsa had no flavor and it was homemade. I don't know what Mexican food the locals here have eaten but I can't believe it was any good if they like this place. It really is a joke and the owner is laughing his way to the bank because he know he dishing out crap food.

On display in the entrance area. Mask on for Covid-19.

We were staying in Napoleon for the night and met with family to enjoy dinner together. Don't let the outside of restaurant deter you. The inside is your typical Mexican decor. We enjoyed yummy margaritas and the food portions were large. It was way more than I could eat! The highlight of the evening was our server, Logan. She was fantastic! She was personable, helpful, and attentive. She definitely deserves a raise!

Mixed seafood fajitas. Scallops, shrimp, tilapia.

A nice find east of Napoleon, Ohio. Bustling on a Sunday early afternoon. Very friendly and capable staff. Extensive TexMex menu. Food came out quickly and hot, signs of an efficient kitchen and waitstaff. Mixed seafood fajitas got rave reviews, pork enchiladas were very solid, and my chili poblanos were well constructed. The kitchen seems light on the spicy heat and heavy on the cheese, likely an accommodation to local preferences. One pic shows the amount of cheese that was left after I ate my chili poblanos. Yipes! But very nice stop in an area that many consider a culinary wasteland. Very fairly priced too.

Really good place to grab some Mexican Food. My parents love coming here and took me here while I was home for the holidays. The food is outstanding and I just love their freshly made guacamole. You could tell our server was very busy but she was still outstanding. She was very friendly and always made sure we still had everything we needed.

The Side Rail - French onion burger with mac & cheese

The Side Rail

I travel for work as a maintenance mechanic and Wapakoneta is one of the plants I am responsible…read morefor. I was asking the people I work with there where are some good places to eat for lunch.I believe The Side Rail came out of nearly everyone's mouths.I arrived at the restaurant for a late lunch probably around 4:30 and the place was not too busy but had its share of patrons. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door with a hello and a smile.I chose to sit at the bar beings I was alone. The decor was very neat with a mix of local and railroad themed decorations. The alcoholic drinks included a large collection of various unique and flavorful drinks and cocktails. I enjoy a good hard cider but the one they had listed on tap had a strawberry flavoring. I mentioned my fondness of ciders but my lack of enjoying strawberry flavored drinks to the waitress/bartender and she immediately offered a sample. I was quite surprised how good it actually was.The menu definitely has a large selection of unique food and combinations especially burgers. I started with an appetizer of garlic cheeses curds. They came out quickly and were fresh, hot, and crispy just how I like them. The garlic flavor with the cheese curds was a great change from the normal cheese curds I'm used to with them even being in cubes.I had to try the burger with Peanut Butter and Jelly, the loaded fries, and Mac and cheese.I was really second guessing that ordering that choice was a good one but boy was I surprised. The burger was cooked perfectly.I will never understand how a burger with cheese, peanut butter,a fruit jam sauce, and even a egg actually not only worked together but was delicious. The loaded fries were crispy, cheesy, and the jalapeños were flavorful but not too hot.The Mac and cheese was also very delicious and very creamy.I will definitely be returning to try some of the other unique sandwiches and cocktails. The only regret I had was forgetting my leftovers in my truck when I got back to my hotel.

Lovely omg the best best best food. Definitely a must go to anytime I am in area. Feta…read moreburger the absolute best!!!

Crust Pizzeria - Margarita

Crust Pizzeria

Played a little birthday roulette with mi amor for dinner and fate landed us at Crust Pizzeria…read more This was my first time dining here (somehow?!) but it's one of his go-to spots--and now I totally get why. The atmosphere was dainty, casual, and intimate all at once. It gave me cozy date-night vibes without feeling too dressed up. The concept reminded me of a more laid-back version of a trendy local pizza spot, but with its own charm. Let's talk about the crust because WOW. Their hand-tossed pizza had that pillowy soft texture that just melts in your mouth--the kind that makes you pause mid-bite like, "okay wait... this is GOOD." Truly a whole sensory experience. We ordered the classic cheesy bread (which was deliciously gooey and perfectly golden) and the Hawaiian pizza with a BBQ base--such a fun twist! Sweet, smoky, savory... it just worked. Also, I had a humbling moment when I realized not all cheesy breads automatically come with marinara sauce rookie mistake, apparently. The customer service was warm and welcoming from start to finish. Nothing over-the-top, just genuinely pleasant and attentive--which honestly makes such a difference. Overall, such a cute, cozy spot with great food and even better vibes. Definitely earned a spot on my favorites list, now, too.

Yuck! The pizza and sausage taste like Mary had a little lamb. Totally, like the five second rule…read more Idk, maybe it's the marketing. The 't in Crust looks like a handy dandy maneuver. Ah
