Aahhhh ... Taco Bell. Ok, if you're expecting gourmet food, this is definitely not the place to come to. Taco Bells are known for coming up with inexpensive fast quasi-Mexican food. I had a work colleague who was born and raised in Mexico City. He never moved from there, but he visited the US a few times. When I visited Mexico for a work assignment, Carlos decided to take me to one of the best taco restaurants in Mexico. While we were waiting for our food to be served, I asked him what his favorite American fast food restaurant was, and he answered,"I love Taco Bell food, because they call it Mexican, but you can't get that food in Mexico." His reply caused my Coca Cola that I was drinking to burst out through my nostrils for the first time ever. He had me laughing so hard, but he was also serious about loving the food too! To be honest, I like Taco Bell's basic three crunchy tacos meal that comes with a drink (iced tea for me). It brings back good memories of being in my late teens and just being able to afford to eat at Taco Bell. lol. And the tacos still taste the same! Crunchy hard corn tortillas, with the indescript meat that is easily recognizable by its unique very slightly spicy flavor, crisp shredded lettuce and shredded orange colored cheese tossed on top of the rest of the ingredients like they were trying to hide something (most likely the indescript meat). Life was so much simpler then. So, fast forward to today. I used the Taco Bell phone app to order the meal, and told the voice coming from the drive thru speaker that I was there to pick up my mobile app order. Even though there were four cars ahead of me, it took probably 5 minutes for me to get to the window, which I felt was great! The three crunchy tacos meal is still the same as it always has been, flavor wise. Fast ordering, fast line for fast food. The only thing that I could complain about was that I had ordered unsweetened iced tea but was given sweet iced tea. It was ok with me, though, because this sweet tea was not sickening sweet. I don't know whether or not sitting indoors is an option. I know that if it is an option, there are a lot of parking spaces available. Employees were efficient today! read more

I must come to this Taco Bell when there is no manager on duty. I ordered and not a single person making food. One employee is in the dinning room chatting it up with a friend. The other one is walking around on her personal phone. Only person working in the drive thru guy. Once they decide to start working, the woman with the phone cannot seem to keep it down. Making food with one hand and holding her phone with the other. It must have been important because I could hear most of the conversion from 20 feet away. Note I am the only person in the dining area with an order and maybe two people in the drive thru and it has taken over 15 mins to get my food and I still do not have it. The franchisor who runs this operation should be ashamed. In the middle of June, during a heatwave, the air conditioning was not on. I sweated, and it wasn't due to adding fire sauce to my food. I ordered online and took about 10 minutes to get my order. The employee asked if I ordered a drink, rather than knowing what my order contained. I said yes. I was handed a cup that was dented on the bottom so severely that it would not sit flat. It instead sat at about a 10 degree angle. I am fairly certain that if I filled this soda to the brim, it would have spilled. While I was waiting, I was informed they did not have any lettuce. When I was attempting to get my main beverage, this and a few others were all completely out. None of this was labeled as out at the time. This franchisor has his team working in a sweatshop where they're constantly stuck just not having things on hand that they should. If they didn't have tape and paper and pens to write down what they were out of, I would not have been shocked. As a final aside, that did not factor into my grade, the Cheez it Crunchwrap was also so horrifically bad that I no longer love Cheez its. Yes sometimes (lately - rarely) the orders come out wrong and you don't find out until you get home. Luckily for me if it's an egregious mistake I am nearby and can trek it back for a quick fix. The trick is go in with low expectations and you will come out content. There is a slightly older lady working the line who is an absolute machine working all day/night. Kudos to her for always dealing with my many mods on online orders. Lately, if you have a more complicated order they will ask you to pull up in front which was a good move to ensure they get the order right. Had to counteract the 1* reviews because IMO I have had 5* experiences based on my expectations and knowing what I am going to get :) read more

Consistently order with uber eats and it is canceled due to lack of drive through service or being out of items like tortillas, beef, beans, etc. Also go through the drive through and it is the same story. We have been given our food and notice items missing before we pull away. When asked, they let us know they are "out", so they knowingly charged us for it without providing it. read more

I'm not a huge fan of Taco Bell, partially because I used to work there when I was younger. I stopped by the location in Chamblee off of 285. I wanted to purchase the shredded chicken quesadilla melt on their value menu as a simple snack. Unfortunately, I found out that Taco Bell has announced that they are discontinuing all of their shredded chicken menu items on November 5. This location is ahead of the curve by showing "out of stock" stickers covering the names of all of the shredded chicken items on their drive-thru menu board. As someone who has always enjoyed their shredded chicken menu items, this will probably impact my desire to return anytime soon. Nevertheless, I decided to get the traditional chicken quesadilla instead. While it's not as good or as inexpensive as the shredded chicken melt, it was served warm with lots of chicken and cheese. read more

I will never visit this location again. I visited this location this evening and was appalled at the lack of cleanliness and the conditions of both restrooms.. Both restrooms were scary..... all toilets and sinks and floors were disgusting. Fecal matter and urine everywhere and NO working soap dispensers in either bathrooms. Hair in sinks and paper towels and toilet paper out of proper containers and exposed to the elements. I voiced my concerns to someone working there who alleged to be the manager and her only response was, " we just got here"!!!! I explained to her that all employees working there, using the restrooms were clearly not washing their hands and alerted her that this could cause many people to get sick. Also the only hand sanitizer machine located at the front door was not working either. I was appalled but not surprised that the people running the show there could give two shi*s. This place is soooo lucky that it's the only place with a drive thru that is open late. Whoever owns this location is an absolute care-free airhead. So I visited Taco Bell again despite my previous nightmare. The service in the day time is completely different from what I received at night. The day crew is much more pleasant and are much faster! I noticed the Happy Hour from 1pm to 5pm for the $1 Freeze's. Regular price they are around $3. In this summer heat, a freeze is highly recommended. They currently have three different flavors: Baja Blast, Strawberry Skittles, and Watermelon. Baja Blast Freeze: The Baja Blast is my favorite! Tastes like the regular Baja Blast except frozen. Strawberry Skittles Freeze: This one took a while to get used to. At first, it seemed too sweet for me, but soon my tastebuds adjusted and it became enjoyable. Watermelon Freeze: This Freeze tasted just like watermelon. The only thing I wasn't a fan of were the candy seeds. The Freeze is already sweet enough. The candies seeds take it over the top. I actually started to spit them out like real seeds. Overall, these drinks are good. I recommend getting them during the happy hour time of 1pm-5pm! read more

This taco Bell is decent. It gets you your food correctly in a mostly timely manner. The location is a bit hidden so you may want to use your GPS but it's near bowlmor. The food tastes just like other taco bells and I've never had an issue receiving the correct order. I'm not sure why people gave such low reviews.. I mean, it's taco Bell. What do you really expect? Also, if you want the #1 and aren't dying for the supreme taco with tomatoes, sour cream.. just get the cravings deal. You get a smaller drink size but save $2 and get another item in your meal. Seriously, $7 for a burrito, taco and drink is outrageous. I always just order whatever box promo they have. Easiest since the food doesn't really taste all that different from each other. There's not much to evaluate when it comes to a standard fast-food place, but going to this taco bell I felt compelled to give them some good feedback when I felt that their rating (2 stars) did not match my experience. I went in a random afternoon time, which probably affected it, but the cashier was really nice and friendly and made an effort to get to know me. The lobby was pretty clean and it wasn't too busy. Everyone smiled and seemed happy to be there. I tried the new quesalupa and a chicken quesidilla. Both tasted awesome and consistent with what I expected and I got my food quickly. The cook then asked if we'd like to come INSIDE... because they 'only have 60 seconds' to take our order and we'd been there for 2 minutes.
