This place was super cute and decorated super festively for grinchmas ! We mainly went for the decor and festive drinks which were so good and the presentation was also super cute. We ordered some steak tacos and chicken quesadillas which took a while to come out and they were pretty standard, they were not bad! The rice was pretty good. It's family friendly so I'd say it's a great place to bring the family for dinner or to come with friends if you're craving some Mexican food and yummy cocktails!

The real standout was their all-out Halloween decorations - I'd never seen a place so well decked out, seriously amazing. Well done! However not a big fan of the nightclub-like lighting - it was my first visit, so I don't know if the lighting is tied with Halloween or if it's normally that dark during the daytime ... you can get a taste of the lighting by looking at my photos, haha. Impressive menu - quite a range, and we enjoyed our food! Our servers were nice. The space inside is pretty small - they do have outdoor seating too ... but I could see this place get packed during peak times. ELOTE - $5.99 Grilled corn with Mexican mayo, lime, queso cotija, chilito (chile powder). There's an option to get this in a bowl which makes it more shareable - I loved the flavor. The corn was perfect - sweet, fresh & crunchy, which complemented nicely w/ the tangy cheese. I loved it. TEMPURA FISH TACO - $4.99 Tempura fish on flour tortilla with coleslaw and chipotle mayo. They use cod - I always ask when deciding whether to order fish tacos. Great fish taco! BIRRIA BARBACOA - $5.99 Barbacoa taco birria style with corn tortilla and melted cheese, onions and cilantro - corn tortilla. This was very dense (in a good way!), tasty, but very greasy therefore messy to eat ... and probably no surprise, several very fatty pieces too. If you're looking for a very filling taco - this is it! Overall great food - I'd definitely like to try their other menu items. Their Halloween specials look very interesting! FYI there is garage parking very nearby.

I figured this was another americanized Mexican restaurant but it's honestly delicious and their tacos, though upscale, definitely hit the spot. The picanha taco was a favorite and the Birria ramen definitely hit the spot. Someone in my group said it felt like it had way too many components that made it too much but the taste was there. Their other dishes were just ok, their drinks were not too shabby either. We went during Halloween and the overall vibe just made it an even better experience. I seems constantly crowded though so wait is long and it's loud. For me it's a 3.8/9.

Been wanting to try this place a long time. Now I'm happy to say I went AND I have a seemingly clutch hack to share as well. First off, I'd call these tacos commercialized-authentic-- especially if you order them with corn tortillas. They're definitely churning out commercialized quantities and portions, but they actually are authentic, no-nonsense substance. I must say.., they were the most generously portioned tacos (meat-filling-wise) that I've had in ages!!! Go foRreal!!!! Now on to the hack for you. You can get a platter of 12 tacos, GREAT value, for $50 ($5/ taco), which was good value given the usual price was ~$6. and as mentioned above, the quantity of each taco is generous enough that I do believe you could easily share 12 amou get a group of 3 (maybeeee even 4) friends. Go Rreal! You earned my respect!

(4.5 STARS!) Interior is VERY small please keep that in mind! Small interior = larger wait times, so definitely book a reservation (it's worth it!) I recently sat on the patio which did have fans circulating but Georgia has been so hot, just sit inside... trust me. Drinks here are AMAZZZINNNGG 5/5 stars! Food here is ALWAYS delicious and it hits every single time, now the prices here are a bit steeeep BUT I think the quality definitely makes up for the prices. My FAVORITE thing from rreal tacos is definitely the tortilla chips, they're made FRESH and u can definitely taste it

First time at Rreal Tacos and definitely coming back. The restaurant has a great ambiance, love the decoration and style; pretty good service, the waitress was able to answer our questions and make suggestions and I appreciate that. I ordered 3 tacos: classic al pastor, asada and costra taco (al pastor). I enjoyed all of them, the meet is well seasoned, portions are good and the salsas are also great. I also ordered a side or fried beans and they were good. I got their Mango juice and it was flavorful and delicious. I recommend this place for lunch/dinner. Definitely worth it.

Chicken Birria

The service was really good! I actually ended up sending the chicken birria back because the birria smelled too strongly like chicken broth and the aroma turned me off from the meal. It was also too salty. I did end up ordering a fish taco was perfect and the hot chocolate mocktail that came with whipped cream and marshmallows (10/10). The place is decorated so nice and festive for the holidays, you can't help but be in a good mood here!

First time at this Rreal Tacos location, and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is on the smaller side but has a cute, cozy vibe. My friend and I sat at the bar, and the bartender was awesome --attentive and gave us some great recommendations. I tried four different tacos, and the tempura fish was the standout--crispy, flavorful, and just plain delicious. The picanha was my least favorite; it was a bit dry for my taste, but not enough to ruin the experience. I'm definitely coming back to try more. The place seems to get jumping for happy hour and beyond--great energy, music, and good vibes all around. Bonus points for the parking setup: there's a lot and a parking deck. The lot offered 2 hours of free parking (and from what I could tell, it wasn't being closely monitored).

After leaving a concert in Midtown we were starving and wanted some good drinks. I had this restaurant's food before vis Uber Eats but never sat in house. We decided to go to this location. The staff really did their thing with decorating for Christmas. Its like something you would see on TV honestly. I almost felt like I was in NYC. Loved it. The location is the bottom floor of an apartment community so it is very tiny on the inside. They also have an outdoor section that is covered and heated. We chose outside. The host knew who I was with and seated me as soon as I walked in. The menu is on a label that is located on each corner of the table. You also pay your bill scanning the same label. Since the receipt was emailed to me I just listed it below. The server was easily accessible and she was very attentive. I enjoyed the tacos like usual but the star of the night was the queso. It was the perfect consistency and taste. Not overly salty or too think or loose. The only disappointment I had was the consome we ordered for the Birria Tacos. It had zero flavor or seasoning and tasted like cinnamon water. All in all everything was good. MEXICAN RICE 1 $3.69 BIRRIA BARBACOA 1 $5.69 BIRRIA BARBACOA 1 $5.69 CONSOME 1 $3.00 COSTRA 1 $6.69 QUESO DIP & CHIPS 1 $7.77 PASSION FRUIT MARGARITA 1 $11.00 CONSOME 1 $3.00 CONSOME 1 $3.00 BIRRIA BARBACOA 1 $5.69 AL PASTOR 1 $4.20 CHRISTMAS MOCKTAIL $7.00 GRILLED CHICKEN 1 $4.20 ASADA 1 $4.69 QUESO DIP & CHIPS 1 $7.77 Total bill $89.53

went during their Christmas pop up/theme and wow, they really go all out on their decorations! Every inch was covered in something festive and I was loving it! they really do think about the little things which is nice. Their outdoor patio has heaters and blankets if you're cold. The menu is all QR code and easily accessible on your phone. They have a bunch of different options for food and so many flavors for the margaritas!! My friend and I shared the trio chip platter that comes with queso, guacamole and salsa. The queso was soooo good. And we each ordered 2 tacos - recommend the picanha one! And of course, you gotta have a margarita! I had the original and the cucumber one, both very good. Such a fun place, def will be back!

Terrible service. Terrible food... not worth the time. We let a manager know our issues and they still weren't resolved.

They have quickly become my favorite place to get Mexican food. Let's get into it! Location and Parking They are located on Buford Highway in a small shopping plaza. The lot is medium sized, but they are sharing it with a few other businesses, and depending on the night it could definitely be hard to find a spot so keep that in mind. Venue and Atmosphere The venue is decently sized with both booths and regular tables. There are beautiful paintings hung all over, and the decorations that make you feel like you've stepped into a little part of Mexico. Atmosphere is super casual and comfortable. Food and drinks Now the menu here is massive. Take your time and prepare to be overwhelmed, because everything sounds amazing. Here's a breakdown of what we got each time. 1st visit - El Rey Del Taco Parrillada It's meant to be shared with two people, and comes with a pound of beef ribs, your choice of chicken or al pastor meat, six shrimp wrapped in bacon, with melted cheese and chorizo, plus tortillas and charro beans. It was just as delicious as it sounds. 2nd visit - Tacos The pastor con queso and the shrimp al pastor with cheese, onions, and al pastor sauce. You're welcome. 3rd visit - Fajitas Fajitas Texanas, with steak chicken and shrimp. There are 7 different combinations of sides that you can get. We got white rice, salad, and charro beans. This can also be shared, which my wife and I did. Speaking of the charro beans, they have the best beans I have ever had. For drinks I got the supreme regular mango margarita. My wife got strawberry. Both great. Service Food came out fast, but other than that the service was a little slow. Our waitress was nice, but it did seem that she forgot about us for a little while. The food was so good that I forgave it, plus at the end of the day I got everything I needed. Verdict If you're looking for amazing food and drinks, this is absolutely the place to get it. It just might end up being your favorite too! Until next time!

It was a little pricey at $14 for 3 small-ish tacos, but each taco was packed with meat. I also got a taco de la abuela with pastor meat. For their street tacos, they have normal street tacos for $3.25, or for $0.25 more you can get the same taco with a handmade tortilla (aka taco de la abuela). I didn't try a normal taco, so not sure if there's a notable difference in the tortilla, but I thought the pastor taco was solid as well. I felt like perhaps it was lacking a little in flavor? But I do appreciate the amount of meat that's given. The slices of pineapple are nice as well - very authentic. Throughout my dining experience, most customers were picking up/taking orders to go. The restaurant is kept clean and there's a serve yourself salsa bar. I'm glad that I've found a good taco spot nearby! Parking is a bit limited as the lot is small and is shared with other small restaurants as well.

We waited only a few minutes and was able to navigate the small lot to get a spot. There is a designated window for pre-orders and walk-ups have a separate line. It wasn't that long when we were there, but was out the door when we left. Ordering was easy as we got a chance to preview the paper menu, and we were given a card to place on our table once we found it. There was plenty of seating options despite the full lot, but it was nice out so a lot of people were out on the patio with views of the busy intersection. The decor was modern and airy. We checked out the salsa bar while we waited for our appetizer and I found the jalapeno roasted garlic, which was spicy and amazing!! Our appetizer was the con queso and I added chorizo, which I highly recommend. It was plenty for our party of 4 and they'll give you more chips if you need them for the amount of dip you get, just ask. I got one each of the steak, chicken, and carnitas tacos on corn tortillas. The steak was my favorite and I loved that you could taste the smoke in each of the meats with each bite. The grapefruit marg was strong! We were in and out in well under an hour.

I MISS YOU LITTLE REYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. Also ps one time there was a person who seemed potentially homeless who came into the restaurant and was lingering around a bit while we were there. Halal tacos in a small store in a gas station - how can you get more authentic than that?…read more The meats served here are all halal, which is great! I got the beef Birria, steak Birria, and barbacoa tacos. The consommé itself was a little watery and tomato-y, but the tacos themselves were of decent quality and flavor. The beef Birria was better IMO than the steak, which was a little chewier. The barbacoa was definitely hands down my favorite - out of them it was the most flavorful and tender. The salsas they gave on the side were good too - spicy, tangy. The seating in the store is very limited (only a few tables, not well spaced out), large groups would be hard to accommodate.

I believe the meats here are halal. The crust of both the taco and quesadilla were crispy and had a nice cheese crunch. But trying other birria spots, these were okay. Good but nothing that would wow. The consome dip was actually pretty watered down. I know places make them differently as I've had versions with meat bits in them and another with rice. But their version was just watered down. The shrimp ratio was pretty sad. The beef is actually more bang for your buck. Though I didn't truly count the shrimps, there were about 3 or 4 of those baby shrimps. They didn't look nor tasted like they were doused in flavor. The shrimp was just so so. Sort of bland in taste imo. The beef had a nice kick of flavor. There was a good amount of beef to my surprise. Another friend's beef taco version looked like it was stuffed with meat as well. There was just ample seasoning and flavor with the beef. Psst. If you're thinking x3 tacos vs x1 whole quesadilla, go with the quesadilla. You're sort of getting another piece since the quesadilla is cut into four quadrants versus just 3 tacos. Though it's a different form on presentation, you're going to be getting more for the same exact price.
