Prices are good, it's quicky and easy for a snack. This taco bell has improved when they moved to the new location. Staff has improved too it seems, possibly due to new management? Occasional problems with order but nothing out of the ordinary. Ask for no sour cream and you still get it, but not that big of a deal. Worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant, by far. I've been coming to this Taco Bell for years, even before it moved from Rangeline to Carmel Dr. The employees that are currently there are terrible. They're extremely disrespectful to every single customer that steps foot in the door. Before I had both feet in the door, one of the employees was screaming at me to use the kiosk. We ordered on the kiosk like they asked, already a little annoyed that we had been yelled at. After we finally got someone's attention to give us our drinks, we sat down to wait for our food. A few people were ahead of us but it wasn't busy, and there wasn't a line when we got there. Drive thru wasn't busy either. We waited 45 MINUTES before I went up to ask them where our food was. When I got to the counter, everyone ignored me. Paced around slowly dragging their feet. I stood there about 10 more minutes to never have anyone acknowledge I was there. After that I had to call back to one of the employees in the back by the drive thru window. I said "Could I please get my money back? I've been here for an hour and we'd just like our money so we can leave." That employee rolled her eyes at me and walked the other way. So I repeated myself. Finally she goes to tell what I presume is the sorry excuse for a manage. A lady with short dark hair, covered in tattoos. I don't know her name, but she has a tattoo that says "Leslie" on her neck. After she's told about the issue, she storms out the back door in anger. Why? I don't know. Comes back in obviously agitated and annoyed with my request for a refund, but at this point, it's not even a refund. I never received what I paid for. She REFUSED to give me my money. Said she couldn't because it was made on the kiosk and the order never came "showed up on the screen." Which is an absolute lie, because that is not how customer service works. I got into a pretty heated argument over this. I'm not going to literally allow these people to STEAL my money. So I refused to leave, told her I'd call the police if she didn't give me my money. And she freaked out. Called somebody, who said she absolutely needed to give me my money back. She still refused. Finally, she agreed to give it to the person I was with, because she "just could not deal with him" referring to me. Just to be clear, after she refused to give us our money and told us to leave, I was fairly disrespectful. Up until that moment, I had been nothing but nice. I gave them time to get my food because I know things get backed up, I said please and thank you, but after that and being treated like an annoyance, I was done being nice. The rest of the customers got up and asked for their money back as well, because they saw just how unprofessional these people are. She proceeded to give everyone their money, and still refused to give me mine. That's when she gave it to the person I was with. After that, she claimed she called the police and we needed to stay until they got there. Which I responded, "You've got to be joking if you think I'm spending one more minute here after waiting an hour for food I never got." A friendly customer said she got the entire ordeal on video and would be happy to show the police so we could leave. After that, we left. We managed to contact the girl who talked to police, she said that they were annoyed with the lady who called, and that she had no reason for calling. That she should've just refunded the money. This type of unprofessional and borderline ILLEGAL business practice is absolutely unwanted in our community. I now drive to Westfield if I want Taco Bell. It's actually faster to drive there, order, and get our food. That's ridiculous. I wouldn't be surprised if the employees were doing this on purpose and keeping the money for themselves at the end of the night. I'll never step foot inside this place again. Those employees that evening should be terminated immediately for that behavior. Specifically the sorry excuse for a manager. I encourage the rest of you to not support this type of business practice. You're better off going to the McDonald's down the street, or just driving to the Taco Bell in Fishers or Westfield. TO THE OWNER, You need to make sure your employees are being properly trained. Are you involved at all in this store? Have you ever owned a business? This is ridiculous and the absolute worst service I've ever had ANYWHERE. Pay attention to who you're hiring. Call their references. My husband and I went there today around 10:40am. We waited in the drive thru about 4 minutes and no one came to take our order. We eventually decided to try going inside but the door was locked. I did notice two young workers sitting in their car...smoking. One of them came running inside the restaurant when they saw we were trying to get in. We ended up leaving and won't return. We drove away. And later this week I went there for breakfast for two breakfast tacos. And when I got home I realized that they gave me lettuce instead of eggs. Taco Bell and breakfast is the perfect combo! The sausage biscuit tacos was really good. The biscuit was soft and flavorful and was much easier to eat than a biscuit sandwich. The California A.M. Crunch-wrap was also really tasty. It was like a veggie filled omelet inside a quesadilla. read more

This Taco Bell is the worst fast food experience I've had. The problem isn't that they don't care about the service but that they're incredibly understaffed EVERY night. It's the only taco bell in the area so a lot of people go there and they can never keep up with all the orders. I ordered two 7 layered burritos with no sour cream & cheese. They got the first one correct. For some strange reason. They added a sauce on my second burrito that I'm not Evening sure what it is. It could possibly be a chipotle sauce, if they have any. Im a hormonal vegan pregnant woman. I woke up starving at 10pm & needed something to eat. I came to this location with my son before we went to a movie because it is quick and close. There was one other customer in the store when we were there and a few in the drive through. As we waited for our food we both got our drinks. A Short time later they called my name. I walked to front and there were only 3 items on the tray (we ordered 6), I politely told them this was not my order. I looked over at the gentlemen who was there before us also waiting food and asked if his name was John too. He said "no, I'm Jim", I asked him if it was his order and he walked up and grabbed it. A couple minutes later they called my name again with the exact same order. I again explained what our order was and that we had 6 items, not 3, the girl at the counter gave the 2nd tray to Jim who now had 2 trays of food. As I went back to sit down we could hear the girl who was preparing the food loudly complaining about how we messed up our orders and didn't know what we ordered. Last remaining relic of my fast food days. And today I toss it into the junkyard. Even embarrassed to write a review, but had quite an experience. The order was messed up. Realized it only when I got home. Returned. Lobby had been shut down because of "insufficient staff" -- at 7pm. Had to wait 30 mins. in the drive through for them to give me the remaining items. Courtesy and logic would inform that they should prioritize the fixing of my order since I have the rest of order, getting cold. But they made me wait -- and I can't believe I was stupid enough to get back into the drive through. I see that this has been a pattern for this location. I like Taco Bell in general, but this Carmel location always fails to deliver a decent meal or experience. I keep hoping that they will improve but unfortunately they get worse. The floors in the kitchen are often times dirty and seem to never get cleaned up. I have yet to have any meal remotely warm, mostly cold food. I've been to several Taco Bell restaurants and this is by far the worst. I think they need more employee training and I'm not sure if this is a franchise or a company store but whoever is in charge needs to spend some serious time in the store working with employees. They really don't seem to care about the customer. Had another bad experience tonight going through the drive through. Got my order wrong ( 3 chicken soft tacos shouldn't be hard to get that right!) Completely wrong order. Store was locked up because of a leak in the water system which meant I would have had to go thru the drive thru line again to get my correct order. When I knocked on the door to try to get their attention an employee looked my way, shook her head and turned her back on me. I knocked until someone finally came and realized they gave me the wrong order. No apology for my inconvenience, but that's fine. It was stone cold. $7.70 is not a lot of money but it would buy me hot food at any of the other three restaurants nearby.
