I was out running errands and decided to grab a quick snack on my way home. Taco Bell was near the post office that I was leaving, so I popped into the app to see if they had an deals or rewards available for me to use. I saw that the Cool Ranch Doritos Loco Taco was back, so I ordered one (Supreme) along with a mini taco salad, the mini churros, and a Strawberry Freeze ($1 during Happy Hour). I arrived in the drive-thru, verified my order and was told to pull around. The young woman at the window handed me the Strawberry Freeze, then the straw, and closed the window without every speaking one word to me. I still thanked her each time. She returned after about a minute and handed out my bag, which had what I thought was sour cream smeared on the outside of it. That turned out to be quite ironic because the taco that I ordered as a Supreme (includes sour cream and tomatoes) didn't have any sour cream in it! When I got home and realized that, I checked the app to see if there was anything that I could do. I choose the " Help " option under my order details and reported the issue. I was given a $5 credit towards my next order. Taco Bell is fast and convenient, but with the menu pricing increases over the years, you can definitely get better food elsewhere for similar cost. The entire experience was a bit disappointing. (Side note: I didn't go inside, so I can't comment on the ambiance. Safe to say that there probably wasn't any. ) read more

how do I explain my most recent encounter other than absolutely rage filled... I had my husband order online and tbh my order isn't that complicated. it's a grilled cheese burrito with chicken and jalapeños. not too complicated. he got a taco supreme. when I received the order it looked promising. my first bite was just fajita chips and sour cream. my last bite was moldy cheese and chicken. I called the store to let them know in case others had received the same and expressed interest in a refund and they told me I could in person. so my husband and I traveled to there store where I was greeted with a shitty attitude. she ends up telling me that they can't refund me and that the app has nothing to do with them. I asked for a corporate number to talk to and they refused. she grabbed her manager and the manager that came over barely spoke English so I couldn't properly communicate to her. I asked her to show me on the app where I can go and she tells me she doesn't know. she interrupted me in the middle of me talking and walked away. later came out with her manager on call and was instantly greeted with attitude yet again. finally we were told how to get the refund and we walked out. these children decided to heckle us on our way out. worst trip I've ever had. do not recommend going to this restaurant if you want your order made correctly, a clean restaurant, or if you want Taco Bell breakfast read more

I hardly ever eat at Taco Bell,but I was hungry and I needed something light, so I decided to get an order of Nacho fries. I wanted a beverage, but apparently the only beverage available was a raspberry slushy type drink, so I decided to get that to drink. The service was mediocre, and they were very rude when I requested another beverage besides the raspberry slushy. The ambiance was nothing exciting because it is a Taco Bell, and it was kind of dirty and not sanitary. The nacho fries with the nacho cheese dipping sauce was Ok, but not the best thing I ever had at Taco Bell. The raspberry slushy was too sweet for me, but it was decent. I went to the counter to ask for a replacement and a young man apologized and asked to have another made. Taco Bell is usually pretty consistent as to the quality of the food. What differentiates Taco Bell for me is the location .... The cleanliness of the restaurant and the speed / quality of the service at a specific store. We visited this location at 9:00am for breakfast. There was only one other individual in the restaurant when we arrived. I went to the rest room and there was no soap in the Men's Room. When I see this, I can't help but wonder how the employees wash their hands before returning to work, as required by law. In addition, the liquid sanitizing dispenser at the cash registers was empty. The tables, while they did not contain trays and food wrappers, were dirty as in they had not been wiped down. There was what appeared to be grated cheese on the table where we originally sat. Finally, the service was extremely slow for the number of individuals in the restaurant. (One extremely pregnant employee was outside the front door smoking a cigarette.) In summary.... Food was OK, Cleanliness was So-So, and Service was Poor. Will we return? Probably, because I'm one of those that likes Taco Bell for fast food. I will update my review of this specific location the next time I visit, if the conditions have improved. read more

My teenager needed something quick on the way to a school event, so we ate inside which we hadn't done in forever. The food was as to be expected. He was given the wrong slush from what he ordered it but the girl behind the counter was prompt to fix it, actually said the word "sorry" which I appreciated, and said we could keep the messed up one so it wouldn't go to waste, which I really appreciated because it's SOOOO wasteful to throw stuff out if someone else can utilize it. That would've brought my rating up quite a bit actually... but there was another employee who stepped out for three smoke breaks in the short time we were there. I know because my son coughed from the smell, the guy reeked so bad. The drive thru took about 20mins with only 2 cars in front of me and there sign outside had none of the dollar menu options on it. So unless u have it memorized u have to keep asking them what's all on it. The staff was nice just extremely slow. And then after checking to make sure my 5 items were in the bag I drove off .... to then find out the extra sour cream I paid for wasn't on my burrito. Then had to drive all the way back and had to explain it all over to them. And they were very confused and then just said srry and gave me a new one. They did nothing for the inconvenience or acted like they truly cared about my huge wait to still get the wrong food. First off, I never want to make a negative review, but I've given this location multiple chances, hoping they're just having an "off moment". I've been to this location not only different days of the week, but also different times. This location is NOT worth it!!! Everytime we visit, they get something wrong. The meat is consistently dry. They do not put enough toppings. Example: Paid extra for lettuce, they forgot it, and gave it to me in a SAUCE CUP. This was AFTER I talked to 3 different employees and had to repeat myself 3 times because they would roll their eyes and ignore me! I was BEYOND polite as I'm someone who understands what it's like to work in the food industry, but this!! What?? Their items are either beyond soggy or burnt on WAY too consistent basis. They do NOT fill their items like they should. Example: ordering a burrito, it has far more tortilla than filling. Their items are also "shrinking" so to speak. The quesadillas used to be a decent size over summer of 2023, but as of February of 2024, they're the same size as a burrito!! They also will conveniently "forget" to make your order or they will say "someone else grabbed it" after ordering in store, sitting by register, and not ONCE hearing our name or a name that sounds like ours. At least half the tables are not wiped down, floor is not swept let alone mopped, yet there is always a wet sign in the middle of the floor? Drink stand is sticky and unstocked every time we go in. The cartridges in the fountains are also VERY obviously not changed enough. They're constantly over staffed. I've seen multiple employees playing on their phones on the line as well as eating on the line. No matter how busy or slow the location is. In summary, we can understand a bad day, but visits across months are consistently bad.. We will not be returning to say the least. Maybe others should try other locations nearby as well! read more

Carmel Taco Bell is horrible. Food had no taste, it was soggy. I ordered the food ahead of time (online) and they must have made it immediately. When I got there (over an hour later), the food was cold, soggy and nasty. Figuring it was my own fault (for ordering early... I assumed they'd wait until I actually got there and gave them the online Code Number BEFORE starting the order, like other restaurants do), I took the food anyway. As expected, everything was a soggy, cold mess. However, I didn't expect the lettuce to be bitter, the meat to be flavorless and the taco shells to taste like cardboard. Taco Bell is one of those fast-food restaurants that I visit once a year, then immediately vow I'll never visit again. Of course, then I forget my vow and eat there again 12 months later, then I vow never to eat there again. Lather, rinse, repeat. Today was my yearly visit, so we tried the new Boss Nachos, which are gigantic; one order took up half of the passenger seat in my car. I felt ridiculous as the guy handed me my two orders of Boss Nachos because it looked like I was picking up a catering order for a family of six. But no, sir: That's just for two gluttonous people, thank you. The nachos turned out to be too boss for us, as we couldn't even finish them. ¡Ay dios mio: Mucho mas nachos! Anyway, the Boss Nachos, for those who don't know, include chips, refried beans, ground beef, cheese sauce, shredded cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo and guacamole. The only part I didn't like was the guacamole -- I would wager to guess that there were zero avocados involved in that guac. I can't in good conscience give any Taco Bell more than three stars, so this one gets three stars for being fine. I have come to this location several times and the staff is usually friendly, the food however is not made well! Beans are runny and sauces and meats taste different than other Taco Bell's. It is always rushed together- they never fully melt cheese , never cut the chicken quesadillas the food is barely warm. burritos are not full closed and wrapped- half the ingredients are spilling out the bottom and if you add sour cream or tweak you ingredients, they put it on only a 1/4 end of the burrito! All you need to do is Slow down , make the food and prepare it properly and these reviews will go up! One thing too, the paper is almost always ripped and wet , again just slow down - make it for the guest The way you like your own food served. I have ordered the fiesta potatoes and I rarely receive a fork. I have to go back around to the window. I've discovered the Westfield Indiana Taco Bell (about 6 minutes north off keystone) and I now drive the extra four or five minutes to get better food and better service and it's certainly worth it! Carmel could take a lesson from the Westfield crew and how they operate and prep the ingredients. the utensils are always in the bag napkins, again they just need to slow down. Westfield the staff is always wonderful and the food is always made properly, served warm or hot the napkins and utensils are in the bag. I would rather wait at Carmel's window 3-4 extra minutes for properly prepared and presented food. As I stated Carmel staff for the most part is friendly. I just think they need a more hands on managerial staff to bring this one back up to par. I hope they get it soon! read more

I understand times have changed but if chains are going to consistently give you less and less for more money at least make the food decent.
