Of course there is a glitch in the system to where when I ordered ahead on the app, it didn't process my order. I ended up having to park and go inside. I really wanted a Meximelt but apparently that has been discontinued (BIG SAD). Everything was good except the Steak Quesaritto. It wasn't that they didn't prepare it well or that it wasn't hot, I just wanted to try it since it was a new item but found out it's not really my thing. So surprised that my order was correct, made correctly and the young lady at the window was very sweet. I grown accustomed to getting bad customer service, incorrect orders and rude people at fast food restaurants but today was nothing like that. I ordered a Mexican pizza with no beans, extra meat, extra cheese with sour cream. This has been the way I've eaten my Mexican pizza for as long as I remember, but seldom is the order right and made correctly. Also, this location was much cleaner than the others. It changes here and there based on cleanliness, location, basic quality, and customer service. These are all important. I run by Taco Bell every now and then for one reason... they have the Fresco menu. These are healthy options that include burritos and tacos. They all have a pretty low caloric value. It's actually a pretty good option for a quick meal. Now for the five star reason: I stopped by this location today to grab a Fresco Taco as a quick snack. The young lady working the drive thru was the kindest, well spoken, honest sounding drive thru employee I've ever dealt with. She sounded like a drive thru person on a commercial would sound, but less phony. I was beyond impressed. I didn't see her name tag or I definitely would mention her name. Stopped to grab a quick bite after work last night. Ordered a $5 chalupa box, which includes a chalupa, double crunch taco, a regular taco, and a drink. The regular taco had MAYBE one bite (equivalent to about a teaspoon) of meat on it, and was filled with lettuce and cheese, and like 2 pieces of tomato. Same with the double crunch taco, except it had the extra tortilla strips in it. The chalupa was ice cold, and hard as a rock, like it had been pulled from a refrigerator and thrown in my box. And on top of all of this, I ordered a sweet tea to drink. It not only was unsweetened, and tasted like it was made with hose pipe water, but it didn't even have ice in it. It was room temperature!! After I ordered a chicken quesadilla for the person that eats meat, I ordered a rice and bean burrito and a cheese and potato burrito for the person who does NOT eat meat. For religious reasons, I might add. He got home and went straight to bed, so we did not open the burritos until today. I took a bite, he took a bite. What did I find? BEEF!!!! I looked in the other burrito, BEEF! I immediately got online and looked at the menu. So not only was the burrito not supposed to have beef, it wasn't supposed to have meat at all. You didn't even give me the right burrito. I looked at the cheese and potato burrito, and for whatever reason, beef comes in that one. For your health read this post. I witnessed this taco bell taking food back through the drive they window from a car that cut in front of me and returned their opened messed with/eaten off of food! That is a health hazard and against the law. You don't know if they put something in that food or what. Plus the drive thru lady who touched the food didn't wash her hands. I alerted corporate and they were highly alarmed at this and I've received multiple calls back from upper management as this is a serious health risk.
