I just ordered DoorDash from this restaurant. Never and knew it was here. I was looking for something new so I tired it. WOW! This is so delicious I am blown away. The food was so homemade tasting and so wonderful. The service was fast and the food was still hot when it arrived. I moved it onto my own plate and added a little Caesar. I think this is a a home run winner. I will try and find the restaurant and eat in soon. But this will be my new DoorDash favorite.

Just arrived from NYC and thought we'd grab a late lunch before going to our AirBnB. This place was perfect. Sitting outside in the shade while enjoying our meal was perfect. I had a bit of everything and can confirm, everything was good. Wait staff was super attentive and accommodating. 5 stars all around. This is a gem of a place.

My friend and I decided to do happy hour at The Americano for the first time. We were kindly…read moregreeted and although there were not anymore seats at the bar (where happy hour takes place), the manager was so kind enough to still honor us with the happy hour selection from a table instead. By the time we were ready to start ordering, a few seats opened up and our sweet waiter took care of cleaning the area first before we switched over to the bar. The overall ambiance of this restaurant was family friendly with a holiday feel. We ordered cocktails, which were delicious! Our appetizers (sticky wings = 10/10, omg the sauce!; shrimp bao buns, and some meatballs) kept us more than full enough that we decided to hold off on ordering anything else for the evening. Before we left, our original waiter asked how everything was and some of the exciting things that take place at this restaurant. I'm very big on customer service and I really appreciated how attentive, accommodating, and genuine everyone was throughout the night, even with there being so much people there. I will definitely come back again!

Originally excited by the addition of the Americano to Stamford's downtown scene and aesthetically…read moreloved the place too - but that's about all after my visit. Got there early ahead of our reservation to get drinks at the bar. I ordered a dirty vodka martini and my husband got a gin martini. They got the order wrong and gave us both dirty martinis. I was briefly excited by them asking if I wanted blue cheese olives but even those were dry since you can see them on the bar pre-skewered, sitting in a container, not in brine. We finished our drinks and then moved to a table. We were not given water when seated. Placed an order for another round of drinks then (smartly) made the decision to order a mix of apps first before our entrees. Placed an order for another round of drinks, got the gnocchi, dumplings & wings. Food hit our table before our drinks arrived and we had to ask for water. Now onto the actual food - sadly, nothing good to say about it: - Sticky Gochujang Wings: well fried wing but WAY too much vinegar in the sauce not at all a Gochujang flavor - Sweet Chili Dumplings: Panda Express sauce a cloyingly sweet. Would expect more from a place like this. Also the filling of the dumpling tasted like it had curry seasoning? Curry + sweet chili are not flavors that mix - at least not in this dish. - Gnocchi: The sauce was broken/so grainy and gritty and the gnocchi itself SO DENSE. After this bad show, it was a no-brainer that we were gonna take our night and appetites elsewhere. So disappointing. Feels like they have a lot of service issues. Staff felt new even though they've been open for a year or so now. Unless some big changes happen, I have no interest in coming back.

Last week I stumbled upon an advertisement from Glamour nightclub advertising $100 bottles of Ciroc…read moreor Hennessy bottle service. I thought this was a pretty good deal, especially spending most of my time in New York City where one could expect to pay upwards of around $300 for the same bottles. We were greeted by the manager who informed us this promotion does not include tip or tax which was no problem as i would not expect it to be. My thoughts were okay 20% tip and tax were walking out of there $130 - $150 depending if we left more tip or not. Once we were seated the host informed us it was only on certain flavors of Ciroc which we had not be informed about of before hand but at the price point i was not going to be picky. We decided on a bottle and the host came out poured us drinks and walked away. About 30 minutes she returned and asked us for our payment, in which we gave her a card and she declined to accept my Visa debit card. She informed us that the bottle service is cash only. I asked to see a manager because we were not informed at all that it was cash only, especially being how I wound up paying for an $80 round at the bar directly with the same card. The manager came over 30 minutes later demanding we use the ATM and pay cash for the bottle service or he was going to call the police on us. At this point it wasn't even about the points I wanted to receive on my credit card it was about the simple fact that the management was selectively making us pay cash and we had never been informed until I was two drinks down. Just a quick pointers for management if you're only accepting cash than you should tell you're patrons before, also I would suggest if you're only accepting cash than make sure you make everyone follow the same rules as you loose credibility when you're management is saying one thing and I can go to the bar buy a more expensive round and put it on a card. Or maybe it was the fact that my party and myself where the only Caucasians in the club and they were looking to take advantage of us due to racial stereotypes? I didn't really want to bring it there but nobody else seemed to have this issue just our table? The supervisor or whoever was demanding CASH couldn't even say anything but look away and say Cash only or I am calling the police because he knew it was wrong. In the end what seemed like a good deal just turned out to be a hassle and ruined my night.

The low light ambiance and music was definitely giving adults-only vibes. What I really liked was being able to talk and hear because the volume level of the music was just right. Our waiter was attentive and would check-in on us from time to time, ensuring our experience was the best. He had quite a friendly and genuine demeanor about him (sorry, I don't remember his name but he wore glasses and had dark hair). The margarita pizza, wine, and desserts (didn't have lava cake so I tried their chocolate mousse) were delightful to indulge. We also received a complimentary drink of choice on the house just because! I will definitely be coming back again and hope to bring other colleagues along for the Quartiere experience.

We started with some mocktails that were very good and the apple & pear salad that was also good. Our waitress also brought us some complimentary bread and herb butter. All good. But when my entree came it was so disappointing. I ordered the hanger steak cook medium. It was cooked to temp but had to be the chewiest steak Ive ever had. The steak knife wouldnt even cut through it. The knife basically ripped the steak apart. It also came with the largest broccolini I have ever seen. It was basically broccoli but ultimately was under cooked for how large the stalks were. I did try the desserts but they looked good.
