I've never once had a bad experience. Everyone that's worked there has been great. Sure they'll offer products, but they're also very smart at helping you get results, which is real. If it's an issue for you, just buy cheap Amazon stuff and say no thank you, the girls there are super nice and won't badger you. They do keep you up to date when there's good sales on the stuff they sell, it's not a gimmick, just looking out for their clients. The place is always super clean, the staff's incredible, the equipment there is good and well maintained. I've been very impressed with how the management's been able to keep great employees when no one else can seem to find good help. Don't let any of the bad reviews sway you. Yeah tanning costs a little money, I think it's definitely worth it though as I used to get terrible sun burns and I don't now by keeping up a light base. If you're looking for a place to tan, I recommend this PBT. Been to a few others out of town, most are pretty good, one wasn't great, but this is the best I've seen. My husband gave me his credit card and he authorized use for only THAT card. I informed the staff that I would be switching to my own card and his needed to be removed. I made one last purchase for lotion with his card and they asked me did I want to keep it on file for more purchases? I said no. Please use my card from now on. That very hour $400 was charged for products out of an online store from another state. My husband had to cancel his card and have the charge investigated. His monies were returned and he had to get a new credit card sent to him. Then he got his new card in about a week and $30 popped up charges to the same credit account from Palm Beach Tan even though he had never even given them the card number. He had to call the card company and have it removed. All the while I had just paid $60 for a package and $106.00 for more products with my card. Then a week later another $70 was charged to his new card from Palm Beach Tan. I had gone in there twice by this time and told them to stop charging his card and they had no business using a card he did not give them authorization to use. Come to find out that the credit card companies will give the businesses your new card info even after you cancel your old card for any fraudulent activity and you won't even know it. So Palm Beach Tan never informed me or my husband that they participate in this. It isn't in the policy and when we went and addressed this crooked issue with the staff. We were lied to by one of the rude black haired loud staff members. They informed us that "Brian" the owner is the one that has this kind of agreement with the bank/credit card companies. We were told we were not getting out money back. So, this company steals from its customers under the guise of a loophole that isn't even in the contract. Attached is the policy. This was signed and it was for the first card. The new card and new expiration date and such was never authorized. I would be be very leery about signing a contract with this company. I checked all the other tanning salons and they do not participate in this fraudulent activity. I canceled my account and went with a more reputable business. Don't let the fancy building and college chics fool you. You will get ripped off. Shame on the owner for doing this to people.

I'm not just being dramatic here... in every single way, from the informational discussion before I arrived, to the way Sarah at the front desk made me feel so comfortable on the phone with the process, to being in person and given the royal treatment. They began with a tour of this cute spot and I couldn't have loved it more. The decor and aesthetic was stunning, stylish, and modern. When trusting someone with your hair, it feels even better in a soothing space. Katie herself was so thorough as I had questions about the differences between full color, highlights, balayage, and gloss. I can't thank her enough for being patient and descriptive in her explanations so I could make the correct hair care choice for myself. She is fully your advocate and alongside you in the journey versus feeling rushed to make a decision or unclear about what service you're receiving or what it takes to maintain it. I have been places where it seemed the most important thing was increasing the price and while this is an upscale salon, the cost ties directly to the luxury of well educated stylists and clean natural ingredients for your hair. As a redhead it has been challenging for me to find a place I feel confident won't destroy my natural color (yikes, someone made it almost purple once which took a WHILE to grow out) and Katie one hundred percent understood my concerns.
