Always weird to see nothing but 5 star and 1 star reviews. Been going since 2017 to get a base for a trip to Mexico and just liked going so much I didn't stop. I've never once had a bad experience. Everyone that's worked there has been great. Sure they'll offer products, but they're also very smart at helping you get results, which is real. If it's an issue for you, just buy cheap Amazon stuff and say no thank you, the girls there are super nice and won't badger you. They do keep you up to date when there's good sales on the stuff they sell, it's not a gimmick, just looking out for their clients. The place is always super clean, the staff's incredible, the equipment there is good and well maintained. I've been very impressed with how the management's been able to keep great employees when no one else can seem to find good help. Don't let any of the bad reviews sway you. Yeah tanning costs a little money, I think it's definitely worth it though as I used to get terrible sun burns and I don't now by keeping up a light base. If you're looking for a place to tan, I recommend this PBT. Been to a few others out of town, most are pretty good, one wasn't great, but this is the best I've seen. And hey, if any corporate types see this review... bring back the 23 hour rule, and know that your employees at Streetsboro PBT are legit. read more

Purchased the most expensive package they had. Once I gained the color I wanted I downgraded to next level and that's when the fraudulent charges began. My husband gave me his credit card and he authorized use for only THAT card. I informed the staff that I would be switching to my own card and his needed to be removed. I made one last purchase for lotion with his card and they asked me did I want to keep it on file for more purchases? I said no. Please use my card from now on. That very hour $400 was charged for products out of an online store from another state. My husband had to cancel his card and have the charge investigated. His monies were returned and he had to get a new credit card sent to him. Then he got his new card in about a week and $30 popped up charges to the same credit account from Palm Beach Tan even though he had never even given them the card number. He had to call the card company and have it removed. All the while I had just paid $60 for a package and $106.00 for more products with my card. Then a week later another $70 was charged to his new card from Palm Beach Tan. I had gone in there twice by this time and told them to stop charging his card and they had no business using a card he did not give them authorization to use. Come to find out that the credit card companies will give the businesses your new card info even after you cancel your old card for any fraudulent activity and you won't even know it. So Palm Beach Tan never informed me or my husband that they participate in this. It isn't in the policy and when we went and addressed this crooked issue with the staff. We were lied to by one of the rude black haired loud staff members. They informed us that "Brian" the owner is the one that has this kind of agreement with the bank/credit card companies. We were told we were not getting out money back. So, this company steals from its customers under the guise of a loophole that isn't even in the contract. Attached is the policy. This was signed and it was for the first card. The new card and new expiration date and such was never authorized. I would be be very leery about signing a contract with this company. I checked all the other tanning salons and they do not participate in this fraudulent activity. I canceled my account and went with a more reputable business. Don't let the fancy building and college chics fool you. You will get ripped off. Shame on the owner for doing this to people. read more

I am an employee at a PBT location in LA, but when I come back to Ohio to visit family, the PBT location in Streetsboro is well worth the 40min drive! The salon is always so clean & I never have to wait for a bed. The staff is also so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable (especially Abbey!!) and they make me feel like I'm right at home when I come here to tan. I highly recommend coming here for anyone in the NE Ohio area considering spray or bed tanning : ) read more

I sign up at tanning places almost every summer. In the last year, this place opened. They're high pressure with upgrades and lotion. Their beds are nice and they have a good variety. I always feel it's clean. They are very strict about their 24 hour tanning rule. I once showed up 23 minutes before the 24 hours was up and I was refused. It's something to keep in mind for those of us with tight schedules... I will be returning to Nuevo Sol next summer even though it's further from my home. read more

The more and more I go to this place the more it bothers me. They have a 24 hour rule on tanning so in a nutshell you have to plan your day around tanning so you don't go again in less than their 24 hour rule. I mean it's a total inconvenience for people with busy schedules. People can't say it's about safety because goggles aren't been required which makes no sense to me at all. First the positives: the facility has a wide variety of modern beds and the staff are friendly. The negatives: Over a 2 month period, my customer experience was unpleasant. From the minute I signed up to each and every single visit, I was greeted with a sales pitch to buy over-priced lotion. It became a joke among my friends as to what today's "exciting special!" would be. I had to endure a sell job before I could get to a tanning bed. I found this constant up-sell to be extremely annoying and it was difficult to relax and enjoy my tanning experience. Even when I told them I was terminating my membership, I got a sales pitch to "freeze" the membership which means I would continue to pay a monthly fee while NOT tanning to "lock in" my rate so that if I ever decide to tan again..... While I understand it is a business, I was already paying a significant monthly fee. If I want additional products, I will buy them without constant nagging. At least make a note in the computer if a customer tells you no 10 times in a row to leave them alone with the constant selling - especially when the lotions can run upwards of $100. I also hated the "tan only once every 24 hours rule". If I tanned after work one day, that meant I could not tan on my lunch break the next day and would have to wait 'til the end of the day. As a result, I was limited in how often I could actually make use of my membership. I understand not being allowed to tan more than once a day but the 24 hour rule was too restrictive for a busy lifestyle. I have never written a review, positive or negative, about any service or business until now. I found the constant selling to be so annoying that I was moved to join this site for the sole purpose of sharing my experience. Since there are no other tanning salons near where I work, I would rather drive out of my way to go some place else than continue to put up with the aggravation of an aggressive and continual sales pitch. My advice to management is to appreciate that your customers want to relax and tone down the sales pressure. read more

Went in to redeem the free week of sunbed tanning as the website CLEARLY advertises and was told "we dont do that" after convincing the girl that its listed on your website she agreed but continued to give me and my sister an uncalled for attitude making us feel unwelcome. We ended up leaving and tanned somewhere else. A shame because I was really excited to try the beds but I was not going to put up with being belittled. read more
