I was getting some relatively untanned areas such as on the sides of my thighs. The machines are also very fast. I only needed 6 mins in it. The only downside vs one other tanning salon I went to in Kent, is in Kent they had other things you can do for the same price, such as a red light therapy machine and massage chair, which aren't available here. That being said, it's a fantastic place to get in and get out with a fantastic tan!

I've never once had a bad experience. Everyone that's worked there has been great. Sure they'll offer products, but they're also very smart at helping you get results, which is real. If it's an issue for you, just buy cheap Amazon stuff and say no thank you, the girls there are super nice and won't badger you. They do keep you up to date when there's good sales on the stuff they sell, it's not a gimmick, just looking out for their clients. The place is always super clean, the staff's incredible, the equipment there is good and well maintained. I've been very impressed with how the management's been able to keep great employees when no one else can seem to find good help. Don't let any of the bad reviews sway you. Yeah tanning costs a little money, I think it's definitely worth it though as I used to get terrible sun burns and I don't now by keeping up a light base. My husband gave me his credit card and he authorized use for only THAT card. I informed the staff that I would be switching to my own card and his needed to be removed. I made one last purchase for lotion with his card and they asked me did I want to keep it on file for more purchases? I said no. Please use my card from now on. That very hour $400 was charged for products out of an online store from another state. My husband had to cancel his card and have the charge investigated. His monies were returned and he had to get a new credit card sent to him. Then he got his new card in about a week and $30 popped up charges to the same credit account from Palm Beach Tan even though he had never even given them the card number. He had to call the card company and have it removed. All the while I had just paid $60 for a package and $106.00 for more products with my card. Then a week later another $70 was charged to his new card from Palm Beach Tan. I had gone in there twice by this time and told them to stop charging his card and they had no business using a card he did not give them authorization to use. Come to find out that the credit card companies will give the businesses your new card info even after you cancel your old card for any fraudulent activity and you won't even know it. So Palm Beach Tan never informed me or my husband that they participate in this. It isn't in the policy and when we went and addressed this crooked issue with the staff. We were lied to by one of the rude black haired loud staff members. They informed us that "Brian" the owner is the one that has this kind of agreement with the bank/credit card companies. We were told we were not getting out money back. So, this company steals from its customers under the guise of a loophole that isn't even in the contract. Attached is the policy. This was signed and it was for the first card. The new card and new expiration date and such was never authorized. I would be be very leery about signing a contract with this company. I checked all the other tanning salons and they do not participate in this fraudulent activity. I canceled my account and went with a more reputable business. Don't let the fancy building and college chics fool you. You will get ripped off. Shame on the owner for doing this to people.

Upside: I got paid to be outside and get tan that normally lasted me until the next summer. This is my second winter without teaching outdoor swim lessons and I've decided that I can't stand being asked as if I'm sick because I look so pale. Thus I searched for nearby tanning salons. TNT Tanning or "Flash Tan" is right around the corner, thus its destination of choice. I've been to numerous tanning salons in the past and I hate to admit that I normally only frequent them when a good deal is going around. Qualms of tanning aside I've found that having a healthy base tan results in less burning thus the justification for tanning salon visits. TNT was much better on the inside than on the outside. From the outside I was pretty sure I was walking into an old Chinese food establishment. However, once in the salon was very minimalist, not as upscale as some, but definitely not making me question the sanitation of the place I'm willing to lie in for several minutes. Prices seemed reasonable and I was pleasantly surprised to find that as a new member I get a week free. The girls there were very friendly and walked me to my room and explained everything. Definitely not the grandest tanning salon out there, but definitely perfect for my occasional visit to combat my pale skin.
