To address a preview review: yes, the owner does a very hard sell to get people to write reviews and she should reconsider that since it puts many people off. I would have taken off .5 of a star for the hard sell on reviews but overall my nails still look great almost a month later. So I'm just going to add that she ease off on asking for good reviews, since I know she reads these. Having said that, I can understand why she's asking. She took over the business from someone else, kept the same name, and needs to differentiate herself from the previous management. So cut her some slack, everyone, and just know she is a hard-working small business owner trying to stand out in her first year in business and has some customer service kinks to work out. The quality of the pedicure is the real test of the business and mine was 5 stars. So I'd go back again in a heartbeat.

I did NOT have a pedicure with her where she cut my nail that short. If I had you would have heard about it. I've been a customer at your salon many times, and had good gel manicure experiences. Why would I all of a sudden be unhappy? You are completely unprofessional for charging for that pedicure at all. Hopefully that nail won't get infected, but it could. I am a cosmetologist licensed in 2 states, including Ohio, so this is a professional opinion and experience. This is the second time I have had a negligent pedicure experience at this salon. I gave them a second chance and had a another bad result. In this service my big toe nail on the left foot was cut well below the quick. When I asked the tech why she decided to cut that nail so short she apologized and said she should have asked me about it. She apologized several more times. As a beauty professional if I ever made such an egregious error on one of my clients I would not expect them to pay me for it. Imagine cutting a hole in a client's hair and then expecting them to pay for the cut. When I showed the damage to management he was defensive, unapologetic and insisted I had to pay for the service. I told him how unprofessional this was and he offered to take $10.00 off, but insisted I would have to pay. The whole experience was so upsetting and insulting, especially as a fellow professional. I gave him my credit card, took my receipt without looking at it, and left. When I got home and looked at the receipt he hadn't taken the $10.00 off my bill. In my professional opinion I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS NAIL SALON.
