I have been to T Zen ten times since it opened and they always do an excellent job. I get the gel builder / gel x nails. They last for three weeks and I haven't had a nail break since I started going 6 months ago. My nails still look great when I return for my refill and they are healthier and longer than I've ever been able to keep them. I've been going to Emily for at least 4 or 5 months now for builder gel, and I honestly won't go to anyone else. She's incredibly sweet, friendly, and always makes me feel so comfortable during my appointments. Emily genuinely cares about her work and her clients. She takes her time, pays attention to every detail, and always makes sure I'm happy with the final result before I leave. My builder gel manicures last beautifully, I never have issues with lifting or chipping, and my nails always look amazing. Place looks new , nice and clean but that's about all that is a good about this place .. The lady (I wish I remembered her name ) who did my dip powder did a horrible job and I had to ask for my cuticles cut along side my real nails and was told That wasn't what they do in service and it's extra. ! Wtf ! I'm paying $65 for a dip powder manicure and you don't do cuticles ! Then she cut me bad on my fingers with a dirty file it looked and I was so pissed I wanted to walk out then ! I just wanted my nails did and I will never go back here !! Avoid at all cost and not worth the money or service ! They will dip your nails in the same container unless you ask them to pour your own dip !! Unsanitary and Infection risks !!! This place needs to learn nail standards ! It was not done right and I regretted going in there ! This was the worst dip powder manicure I've ever had ! read more

TLDR: Just became my new nail spot of choice (I've been looking for 2 years :,) ). Everyone is very kind and attentive and it is reasonably priced considering how high-end everything looks and feels. This is a new location ; there original is Lynwood I believe. I love the aesthetic of the place. The foot bowls look like sea glass shells and the massage chairs are comfy and don't make me feel like I'm shaking too much while getting my toes done (I have tiny toes so I typically turn the massage off while they're painting). I accidentally drove to the wrong location but Tina answered the phone and was very kind to say they'd wait for me (I had an appointment). I was also offered water or hot green tea. Kim did my deluxe pedicure and it was so relaxing. It includes a scented foot bath, scrub, and a lotioned foot massage. Whole thing only took 30-40 minutes. She didn't cut my skin with the nipper which is my biggest pet peeve when I get pedicures. With gel, it was only $65 (not including tip). For the gel, they have 2 pages worth of colors which is significantly less than most salons. Personally, I preferred it. Made it way easier to pick a color and shade. Their volcano pedicure includesa reflexology foot massage. THAT will be what I do next. Can't wait to come back ! read more

My nail beds were damaged during my service done by Emily, the atmosphere was unprofessional, and staff openly talks about clients in front of others. The space here is beautiful and well decorated. I was waiting months for it to open. I came in for a scheduled pedicure. Prices seem to be average for these days. A basic pedicure was $40. It was definitely busy at the time of my appointment. I was seated somewhat quickly and noticed a couple other gals that were seated just before me. I think the nail tech I had may have been the owner or general manager. She was constantly getting up to help guests pay, handle walk-ins, communicate with other nail techs, etc. She was very nice and polite, but I kept being told thank you so much for your patience. I have no problem being patient, but this was non-stop during my pedicure. So much so that I feel my pedicure was very rushed. Mine was done well before the other women next to me when their pedicures started way before mine. I will go back to try again, but I certainly hope I do not have all the interruptions and have a full service like everyone else. read more

Took my daughter here for her Homecoming nails to be done. They were really kind, took the time she needed to have them done right, and super sweet for her first time getting her nails done. The salon is very clean and relaxing and lots of options for services. Prices are very good for the quality of service you get as well. I have been waiting for this nail salon to open and now that it has, it's my new favorite nail salon. T Zen Nail Spa is certainly more "spa" like and is higher-end yet the prices don't reflect it. Their prices are quite reasonable and their menu extensive. But so are the color choices! I felt like I was at a candy store! They are very customer-centric and put safety front and center with their medical grade sanitizing machine they use on all supplies. The other thing I love and appreciate is that you can book your appointment online. This is the kind of nail salon Shoreline has needed. read more
