Wow!!! Sara!!! I'm speechless!!!! Went in for an acrylic fill and pedi!! She's very kind and caring and attentive!! Even helps me pick colors!! Gives me advice and guidance!! My pedi was super duper bright hot pink!!! Her fill was awesome!!! Just the lightest layer of acrylic. Thin and super strong and durable!! Her shaping the most consistent Ive ever seen. From apex to sidewalls to free edge to the back of the nail bed!! It's second nature for her!! She then did my pretty pretty French tips completely freehand!!! No acetone. The best part, and most fun, was my super duper cute, and super duper pretty, white bows!!! Pretty pretty matching bows on fingers and toes!!!! With glitter sparkling centers!!! I have been going here consistently for 6 months for acrylic manicures, and have always been pleased with the results. Sara is my main nail tech. She is pleasant, listens to what the customer wants, and works quickly. Her work is good quality: looks great & durable. What a great experience! I just had a pedicure, full set and eyebrows wax at Spa Ten20. It was my first time there and I am so happy to have found my new nail place! Sarah took care of me and she was amazing! Not only kind but did exactly what I asked for. The salon is nice and clean and they have a huge selection of polish colors. Prices are reasonable. I paid $43 for a shellac pedicure, $45 for pink and white tips (extra $5 included because I asked for cuticle clean up) and $12 for wax. I will definitely be back! read more

This is my new go-to nail place! I came here for mani (shellac) and pedi (classic) and I gotta say it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable experiences I've had. Usually I get a few cuts here and there during manicure, but the ladies at Spa Ten20 are so skilled and precise that I didn't even feel anything. They are also following COVID-19 safety measures, there are screens installed at every station and they check your temperature at arrival. I made sure to make an appointment and was taken care of right away (no wait times yay). All around great experience! read more

Service has slid a bit downhill and I feel it's time for an update. The last time I was in here, it was to get a gel manicure removed and a new one. However, the manicurist was new to the shop and she was rough. She pinched my skin twice with the clippers. She called me sensitive instead of apologizing. At that point, I told the owner, Susan, I was getting the gel removed only that day and would leave. The manicurist then started filing down my fingers - no, not a typo. I said we'll stop for the day, I paid and left. Another service prior to this was disappointing due to a different manicurist being sloppy with clipping my pinky nail unevenly the night before my bridal shower. I had to go back the next morning and ask for it to be fixed. I would come back in with only Susan doing my nails, no one else. read more

I have given this salon a couple of tries but I will never return. I made an appointment for a full set. I arrived 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment. When I sat down I asked that they remove the nails I currently had on and they refused, saying they had no extra time to do a removal first. I left and walked in to another salon that welcomed me and had no problem providing my service with excellent customer service, too. Salon 1020 has been unable to even fit me in when I call a week ahead of time on multiple occasions. read more

All I know. Is I came here and got my pedicure done. The place was packed with regulars and peeps who say hi like they are old friends. Sign of a good business. But It looks like an average everyday nail salon. The difference? I don't know but my toes look great and stunning in hot pink. I got compliments everywhere. Came in for a fill and gel polish. They were very friendly but the gal rushed my nails so fast that she was done with the fill and gel color in a little less than an hour. I've never had that fast of a service. It's nice as far as time goes but quality should match what you pay for. The next day I could see the fill lifting on 4 nails. I don't live here so I wasn't able to go back for them to fix it as I normally would have. Very disappointed and now, 4 days later I'm getting them redone elsewhere for quality service. Not a place I would recommend. read more

I absolutely LOVE this place. I've been going here for the past year and I adore the team they have. I see Sarah because I always get designs on my nails. She is fast and her attention to detail is spot on. They are clean and friendly. I see Susan too. They are all very talented. Visited last week after making an appointment via phone and my nails still look amazing! Got a manicure and pedicure (just under $40 and if you pay in cash you get a 10 or 5% discount). The water for my pedicure was started after I got there (giving me plenty of time to debate which colors I wanted). The woman who did my service was efficient and very gentle. I am 8 months pregnant and wanted my toes to at least look decent despite the fact that I can't see them. The massage was gentle but oh so rewarding. Other clients continued to trickle in, some with appointments and others were walk-ins. What I liked most was how I didn't feel as if my cuticles were being torn to shreds nor were they left with a partial treatment. Definitely coming back. read more

this is my new fav salon even though it was about a 20 min drive it was worth it. i didn't make an appointment and they were able to squeeze me in at 1:15. i only had to wait about half an hour which wasn't too bad considering i was a walk-in. i got a full set with gel and i paid $41 plus tip. she gave me a student discount which i believe is 10%. i forgot the name of my nail tech but she was really nice. while the other nail techs were talking/gossiping she focused on my nails and didn't join in on their conversation. i asked for coffin shaped nails which to me is always a hit or miss because most places i've gone to have made them super crooked and uneven but here she spent a lot of the time shaping and filing my nails. the color selection wasn't too bad. i've seen other salons with way more colors but i was able to find several colors that i liked. i ended up choosing a yellow color. no doubt that i will be coming back in the future. read more

Not a high quality, but a place that does quantity. Especially negligent on accuracy of top coat, missing large parts of the nail around the edges. Posting pics of the top coat(chipped cause it's been a week & natural nails)The polish chips more along these lines. Otherwise it was ok, did polish change of fingers & toes. read more

Responding to Monica complaining about being "publicly chastised"--all nail salons charge extra to remove shellac polish if you aren't replacing with shellac polish. All ladies here are super helpful and kind, and they do not "publicly chastise" customers, even difficult customers. They work hard and are nothing but professional. Complaining in a public forum but not to the merchant is cowardly and childish. read more

She adjusted pressure to my comfort level and answered questions I had as she worked. The paraffin wax was new to me but left my hands and feet soft and moisturizer. Luckily I did bring my yoga pants and they said it was fine for me to wear my own clothes in the meditation rooms. Normally I go to Olympus, but the last few times there it was so crowded and pretty dirty. Q is definitely a lot less crowded and much cleaner. Also, I went with a friend on a groupon which you should definitely check for as I have seen them offer these quite a bit. So process is -- you check in and they give you the "uniform" -- they only have up to size 2x and it is a small 2x IMO -- more like a 1x. It is a tshirt and shorts. They also give you your locker key. Q Spa is coED but they have separate bathrooms for men and women. They only thing coED is the meditation rooms, the common areas and the cafe. So, after paying and getting your uniform you proceed to your designated bathroom/changing room area. Your locker key has a number to show you which locker you are assigned to -- the spaces for the lockers are a little narrow, but not as much as Olympus. You can either change to your uniform or you can head straight to the pools. I like to do the mediation rooms before I get wet so after changing I headed back out to the common area. There is at least one meditation room on the ground floor but the majority of them are up stairs. I am not sure if there is an elevator for someone that is handicap? But they had a salt room, a chill room, a charcoal room and a sand room -- I love the meditation rooms. I guess the only weird thing is that there were men sitting in the common areas outside of the rooms just working on their laptops -- seems like a weird thing to do in a spa! So my friend and I spent about an hour and a half in the meditation rooms and then we were ready for the sauna, the steam room and the hot tubs! They have three different hot tubs of varying temps and a sauna and a steam room. In this gender segregated area, you remove your uniform -- so like Olympus you need to be comfortable in your own skin. It wasn't crowded at all (unlike olympus where you can be boob to boob with someone). My friend and I enjoyed this section of the spa -- it was very relaxing. We were starting to get hungry and noticed the cafe opens around 11am. So we got changed back to our uniforms and headed to the cafe. I love Korean food -- I can't recall what the dish was called but it was one of those stone bowl dishes where the food is still cooking in the very hot bowl. It wasn't quite as good as Olympus but it was still pretty yummy. Service was friendly and pretty quick too. I will definitely try Q Spa again.

I thought maybe if I could visit on different times or days I could find a time to relax, but unfortunately it seems this goes on all day. There are a lot of signs saying there shouldnt be any sexual contact, but they don't seem to do anything. The only safe place for the men who want to relax is the coed saunas because you have to wear clothes and women share the area with men. As a Korean, I am just so disappointed that I can't use this Korean Spa for it's intended purposes. There are bathhouses in Seattle for these things, why can't these guys go there?
