    All the wax left in my hair

    I went in to get my eyebrows waxed and they didn't look great but i was like whatever's im not gonna complain cause they can't do anything but have the nerve to ask me for tip when I have wax in my hair and wax still left on my eyebrows I mean and I told him they were uneven and he said where sir can you see all the wax that she left in my hair I mean it's ridiculous. I have no problem paying the fee because I already got them done. I'm not gonna complain when there's nothing they can do they can't give me back my eyebrow hair so I just wanted to pay and leave and he had the audacity to Stop me and ask me if I'm gonna leave a tip and I said no because my eyebrows are uneven and there's wax still in my hair and on my eyebrows, I mean, that's ridiculous. Terrible service. Tip is only if you do a good job she didn't do a good job she left wax in my hair and i didn't say anything cause it was already to late but don't ask people why they leave no tip it cause your worker left fuckin wax in my hair

    This is my go to salon! They're the best and so reasonably priced. I always see Lynn for my nails, today she did an ombré pink & white dip. I am in love with them! The salon is beautiful, you're offered a complimentary beverage while you have your service done. It's so lux. My nails usually cost anywhere from $40-50 depending on the service. I've paid upwards of double that for worse nails at other salons. Techs are always friendly and I'm never waiting too long. I suggest calling ahead as they do get super busy, but usually have openings.

    They were absolutely lovely! They were able to help me out in a pinch with what I needed. I had previously broken a nail the day before and they were able to help me get it back into shape! They even helped me color match too! Oh and the inside?! Just wow! It's beautiful in there. The gentlemen that helped me out were so kind! Thank you for helping me!!!

    I know quality and service can vary per salon, however, this was unfortunately the worst experience I've ever had. I had asked for dip and choose a vibrant lavender color. However when applied on my nails this was much lighter in shade. The nail tech said I needed more layers to bring out the color but even after 4 layers, the color was still more of a pastel lavender instead of the bright lavender color. The other issue I had was that when the dip was applied, not only did it look thick, but it also wasn't applied to my full nail. There was a gap towards my cuticle and the sides of my nails weren't completely covered. I think this added on to why my nails looked so thick and ugly. I requested she buff down the mail more to help not make it look so thick but there was no saving it. I had respectfully requested she remove the dip powder off my nails because they really did not look nice at all and would rather have nothing on. I had also asked for my cuticles to be cleaned but she ended up cutting a few cuticles too short which caused me to bleed from 3 different fingers. When I was getting the dip powder removed the cuts on my cuticles would sting really badly from the acetone touching it. Another (minor) things that also rubbed me the wrong way - I also got a pedicure which went well but after moving me to the tables for my nails, they didn't give me back my sandals and I had to look for them myself. I feel like the overall quality of service was really disappointing. I had really good expectations for this salon as it looked very nice on the inside. I do appreciate my tech being empathetic towards the end and offered to put clear pink over my nails. Sadly I feel like as a whole this was a huge waste of time and money and i will definitely not be coming back.

    Update : The manager contact me and offer to fix the nails we talk and coordinate an appointment for Saturdays at 10 am confirm whit Justin the manager who contact me . When I arrive to the place the manager in turn SI ( which is the same rude guy at the desk I saw the 1st time here ) seems like didn't know and ask me to come back again another time . Well I didn't want to keep wasting my time here I tough I would give another opportunity but I would not bother to waste my time and money here , prefer to drive to my usual place at Kirkland better nail quality , service , hospitality , and better price .... I left A picture of my nails been fixed for my kirkland place ... since this place deliver poor job

    -if I could leave 0 I would- I paid $140 for a new acrylic set and a basic pedicure and this is what my nails look like after just 1 week. I've never had service that was this poor. I was overcharged and had no idea until going to pay, which I was anticipating would be around $90. I normally don't go into nail salons and opt for doing my own nails at home, but since I had an upcoming vacation planned, I thought it might be nice to treat myself and now I'm on vacation with nails that look horrible. Go anywhere else!!!!!

    If I could give this place zero stars I would. The day before my wedding my friend and I went to get our nails done. We were both there to get manicures and pedicures. I was 5 minutes late to my appointment (due to being stuck in a little traffic). Unfortunately, when I first arrived I was immediately met by the manager who had a nasty attitude toward me. I have been to this place before (many times as I like the interior design, cleanliness, and complimentary drinks) but always go to the tech Vivian - who does a great job at doing nails and is very friendly. Unfortunately, she is not there so I wanted to give someone else a try even though I've had mixed experiences with other nail technicians in the past. HOWEVER, this is the WORST experience I have ever had. I brushed the manager's attitude off as I was not going to let him ruin my day. Prior to sitting down, you indicate on a piece of paper what services you're wanting to get done and if you would like any drinks. I indicated on the sheet my request and asked for a hot tea. The tea was not brought to me in a timely manner as I was halfway through my pedicure and I had already asked five times for a tea. A caucasian woman next to me asked for a soda once and got it right away. Of course, this made me feel like I was being discriminated against. To make matters worse, I wanted a French tip pedicure but the gentleman who did my pedicure was not the best toenail designer and the lines were all crooked. I asked if someone could fix it and provide the design I requested. The manager rolled his eyes at me and laughed at my request. Since it seemed like my simple request of a straight line French tip was too much to ask for- I requested a simple polish change. I then received the polish change I requested, but as my picture shows below the job was not done well. He tried his best and was nice to me about it. However, I was on the verge of tears after this horrible experience before my big day. After my pedicure I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible so I changed my mind about the manicure because I did not like the way I was being treated. I opted to get a shellac color only and was met with the same eye roll and disrespectful demeanor from management. My shellac nails came out just okay and the lady was nice. Lastly, upon checking out I stated I should be offered a discount for the service and not being happy with my results or experience - the manager laughed at me and said why do you deserve a discount - you picked the older nail tech. So in other words it was my fault. He also got upset about the amount I tipped for my service. Honestly, I did not even want to leave a tip but did so for the technicians. I will not be going back to this business ever and I highly recommend you don't either.

    Well I hate to do this, but after attempting to speak to management again today, I am leaving this review. Overall, Stella is a lovely salon with a great looking space and cleanliness. Their biggest downfall is their unreasonable manager who has no idea how to work in a service-driven space. Below I will describe in detail how he is impatient, rude, and really on brand with the other bad reviews prior to this one. 2 days ago I came in for the first time as my friend who got married yesterday picked this spot. I got a shellac pedicure and shellac manicure. We got treated very bad by manager from the get go- since he seemed upset my friend was 5 mins. Late to the appointment (though I was in time to inform him she was on her way). He refused to wait for her so we could start our service together (he mentioned having more appointments, but in the next 2 hours I was there only one more person came in). He refused to have us stay together throughout the whole time and as soon as they said my shellac was done they rushed me to the table to do my manicure. I have no idea why the manager was rushing us out, and it clearly led to my pedicure getting ruined! Since it was shellac and it's supposed to be completely dry I put on my socks and I didn't notice until the next day my foot was ruined. This is also not his fault but my manicure did begin cracking on the second day, for which I had enough and decided to return for a partial refund so I could go to my usual nail place to have this fixed. (I did not want to deal with the attitude of this manager anymore). When I arrived today he met me with the same attitude and refused to give me any refund. He offered to fix the shellac, but given how he treated me and my friend (she had a way worse experience I am sure she will leave a review for someday) 2 days ago I did not want to have them fix it just have some money back since I paid $130! I hope that the owners consider training him for better service in the future to other people who choose to come.

    Wasn't even planning to stop, but the sign outside looked cute. Inside smelled nice, music low, and now my nails look better than my mood.

It's super clean and cute and doesn't overly smell of chemicals. I brought my daughter and her friends for her 10th birthday and they treated them so nice. They played K-pop demon hunters on the tv which is my daughter's favorite. When making the appointment, I was able to select the kid"s manicure with additional free basic designs. Affordably priced for a kid's manicure too. After they were done they had a treasure box where each girl could select a squishy, pen, or stickers. They also had an extra little prize for the birthday girl. They also gave me a beautiful rose for Mother's Day. Overall a great experience! Would definitely recommend and come again! I've already made another appointment. :)
