Updated Review: the owner contacted me and gave me a full refund within hours of my initial review. I really appreciate the prompt and helpful customer service. Thank you Cookie Nail Salon for the resolution. Initial review: For my 30th birthday I treated myself to gel x tortoise shell nails. It was my first time in the salon and it's so cute and comfortable. I wish I would've taken a picture of my nails, but just imagine very cookie cutter square nails, not filed well, and the polish was so bumpy like oatmeal. I was so disappointed. I actually went home and removed them as soon as possible. When I asked the front to look at my nails, they told me they were bumpy because of the design. I have been getting my nails done since I was 16 and I never had a nail tech create such a thick and bumpy build up of polish due to a design. I loved the customer service and free first time customer gift. But I will not be coming back. read more

Not really happy with my 2hr+ appointment just for a pedicure (express, nothing fancy) and a dip manicure. The top coat started peeling off the day of. She didn't make it smooth, it was bumpy but I was going to just roll with it. Then the top coat on other nails started peeling. And now, less than 4 days later, the polish cracked and broke off .... Not returning. I've paid more here for less quality than other places. read more

I loved Cookie Nail Salon. I was a walk-in and this was my first visit as I was in town for family. They were able to get me in quickly and offer a variety of services. The prices were only slightly higher than I pay in Olympia, but the service and attention to detail were well worth it. If I am ever back in the area I will certainly go again. read more

I just went to Cookie Nail Salon for the first time. It was so easy to make an appointment online and they will text you a confirmation the day before your appointment. There's also free parking in the garage. They have such a large selection of colors that you pick out of a book. They offer you an array of drinks and snacks. It's super clean and cute and doesn't overly smell of chemicals. I brought my daughter and her friends for her 10th birthday and they treated them so nice. They played K-pop demon hunters on the tv which is my daughter's favorite. When making the appointment, I was able to select the kid"s manicure with additional free basic designs. Affordably priced for a kid's manicure too. After they were done they had a treasure box where each girl could select a squishy, pen, or stickers. They also had an extra little prize for the birthday girl. They also gave me a beautiful rose for Mother's Day. Overall a great experience! Would definitely recommend and come again! I've already made another appointment. :) read more

Thank you for your guarantee. I appreciate your commitment to customer satisfaction. I look forward to my next visit.

This is probably the 4th or 5th time I've been here. Everyone is so nice and inviting. No matter who I see, I get excellent service. Today, I witnessed not one but two other customers who felt the need to belittle the nails techs. Everything they could complain about, they did. And they weren't even together. Everyone did everything possible to make them happy. The employees were respectful, responsive, and handled both disgruntled customers with care and caution. You can't make everyone happy, but I know I am happy with my service, I know every one who works here does an amazing job, and handles these angry people very well. Highly recommend this place! read more

I am thrilled with my experience at Cookie Nail Salon in MLT. From the moment I walked in, all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The place is obviously very clean. My pedicure was perfect and relaxing. My nail tech was detail-oriented and gentle. I have a corner of my nail that sometimes hurts and needs special attention. She was so careful with it and then when I left there was no pain at all where there had been previously. The nail shaping and paint job were impeccable, and this is something rare in my experiences, so rare that I usually just do my own nails. The new ownership took over in July 2025 (so keep that in mind when looking at old reviews), and they have specials for new customers including discounts. I got a complimentary paraffin treatment and a gift goodie bag on my way out. I understand some reviews about the high pricing, but I actually think for comparable service, this place is on par. What they call a classic pedicure lasts 60 mins (actually mine was 85) with superior quality everything at $60...you can pay $40 for a "classic" elsewhere, but they'll have you done in 30-40 mins and it won't be so thoughtful (or include hot stone!). For a long time, I lamented not knowing of a local nail spa where a visit feels truly relaxing and luxurious. I'm happy to say I think I've finally found one. read more

What a great experience! From check in, to complimentary drinks, to customized experiences. I visited for the first time and got the Cookie Signature Pedicure. So much included and for a fantastic price. The pictures on the website actually match the service you receive (not A.I. ) I was going for a birthday splurge day, but now I guess I'll be making this my new monthly ritual! read more

I've been here twice after trying a few places, some of which I was faithful to, but quality became hit or miss which made me go elsewhere. I've loved my nails the last two times. I typically do dip, but have been persuaded to go the gel x route and I'm HARD on my nails. I cook and workout a lot and have had no issues. However, my nail this last time felt a little off but they happily took a look at it the next day and made a minor adjustment at no charge. They do an exceptional job on the kids manicure/pedicure. My daughter can sometimes struggle and forget to let nails dry.... And they patiently fixed hers nails a couple times (I felt bad, but appreciated the quality of service and that they didn't make her feel bad about it). The complimentary drinks are great and I appreciate that the staff are genuinely nice! I'd highly recommend. read more

So many lies in the reponse not sure where to start. I left a 10% tip this last and final vist because I'm not cruel (that is not generous at all). I looked upset, your nail tech even commented on that. I barley spoke by the end and there were two other customers in the shop when I left. The only good thing about this shop is Justin and he's gone. Go at your own risk!!! read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Ankita was so friendly and welcoming right from the start. I mentioned wanting to try cat eye for the first time, gave her a rough idea, and she took creative freedom - the result is absolutely stunning, I'm obsessed! As a new customer, the 20% discount was a lovely touch, and the sweet little goodie bag at the end made it even better. Such a fun, relaxing experience. Already booking my next appointment - thank you, Ankita! read more

It was me and my buddy first time trying out pedicure and we walked across this cute nail salon. Being friendly greeted right after walking in made us already feel like home, which was so great! Everything after that was just beyond words. We both decided to get the premium pedicure set. At first I thought it might be just a bit expensive for the first time trying but it was WORTH every penny!!! The lady seems like the owner of the place took a really great care of me. She kept checking on me about the water temperature, the color on my nails and if the massage sofa was comfortable enouth. I could tell she was really dedicated to her job which made me so touched. I will be back for sure to support her !!! So glad to have this business in my neighborhood read more

Beautiful space, and they were super friendly and welcoming! The vibes are excellent, and my nails looked great.

I called this nail salon on a whim. I really needed to get my nails done, I had some old soft gel nails done in a different salon that were hanging on by hope and dreams, so I called here asking if I could come in and made an appointment. Even though I was a bit late to my appointment, the girls here were so kind and welcoming. Lihn was my nail tech and she did my nails based off a design I had found online (see photo). I'm happy with my nails and will coming back! Thank you Lihn! Cozy atmosphere too and they have Vietnamese coffee. Yum! read more

Everyone always makes me feel welcome when I come in the door. I love their suggestions when I ask for help to decide which colors and designs would be appropriate and fun for my nails. The salon is beautifully decorated and very clean! I've had 3 manicures that people noticed right away and complimented me on them, and the last pedicure made my toenails look better and healthier than when I was 60 years younger!!! read more

Stopped in for a manicure today and I was not spoken to at all during my service. I was asked for my phone number multiple times after I explained that I hadn't ever been here. I paid $30 for the express manicure and got no hot towel or massage, just trimmed, filed and painted. Not the 30 minute service that I paid for at all. I had a reservation for 1:10 and didn't get into a seat for a pedi until around 2:00. The staff was friendly but clearly distracted and not able to concentrate on providing services due to how overly busy it was. She paused to answer the phone, check out customers, etc at least 6 times in my 20 minute pedicure. She would forget if she had turned on the UV light (&one time I turned it on for her when she forgot and ran to do something). I appreciate them trying to earn money but they were so busy that my experience was quite poor. I would rather they offered me to come back later for a discount than receive the inattentive service. The inner vibe of the salon is nice and could be enjoyable if they aren't too crowded. read more

Excellent service, able to take a walk-in and work with my nails. Offered snacks and beverages -

Today was my first visit to Cookie Nail Salon Hau scheduled my appointment and kept me updated on timing (a nice perk in case they were running late). Upon my arrival, I was greeted warmly and offered a beverage. The staff confirmed my desired services, including cost, and helped me pick out polish colors. Heidi and Vicky worked as a team to provide both a pedicure and manicure, respectively. Both were professional and courteous, confirming each step as they went. Pricing was as confirmed...with a 20% discount as a first time customer! They also sent me out the door with a little gift bag (nail file, hand lotion, and lip balm). The facility is extremely clean with friendly staff and ample parking. I will certainly be back...thank you! read more

I am pretty disappointed with the new ownership. A lot of the staff has left or isn't working on weekends. I've been coming here for years and always appreciated the atmosphere and quality. My husband and I went yesterday for pedicures and a radical gel fill for me. The person that gave my pedi didn't even massage my legs at all. The menus say that the service is now only 30 minutes (instead of the previous hour), which means quality is suffering. I then received my second radical gel fill. As I'm sitting there, I felt incredibly uncomfortable watching the music videos that were on the TV with mostly naked people. Not to mention the radio music overhead that was too loud and so many curse words. I'm not prudish at all but 100% would not ever bring my nieces there! Not to mention the entirely inappropriate conversation one of the staff was having with another customer who also felt uncomfortable. I've had polish peel off on two nails in 2 days. Pretty disappointing. I won't be back. read more

Overall I like the service as they executed my design exactly how I wanted. However my gel nail polish started to chip after 24 hours after the service. The prices are high as they charge for every little thing extra on your nails. read more

Space is clean, calm and pleasant. Hollywood, the man at the desk (who answered phone when I called and was there when I arrived) was curt, monosyllabic and seemed to have no concept of customer service. The woman who did my pedicure was refreshingly welcoming and pleasant but the polish job didn't last long. The woman who did my brow wax was also really nice but it was probably the worst wax I've ever had. Can't recommend. read more

Expensive for what i got. I really hoped that this nail place would be different. But same as the other they dont take their time to work on their client peacefully and carefully. Very rushed and cut my nail shorter than i expected. She said she will make it thin but it was thick and french tip was inconsistent. Also they dont my cuticles and dont use new tools. read more

I was charged $240 for two pedicures, a fill, and a manicure--and on top of that, they added an extra $20 just for gel polish. The pricing is absolutely absurd. When I questioned it, they only offered $5 off, which felt insulting given how high the bill already was. Definitely will not be returning. read more

2nd review August 2023. ( 2 years after first review which was a raving fantastic 5 stars. ) I am downgrading due to unfortunate changes that don't seem transitory. The staff are amazing; kind and talented at their craft. Having said that, there are concerns that trouble me. I have met three people out in the community ( people who have lovely nails so I ask where they get their nails done). When they say "Majestic" I ask them about their experience . Each has noticed the highlights below and are struggling with what to do, as am I. Nobody wants to take away business from the nail technicians. It seems they are admired across-the-board. Here are the concerns: Owner raises voice ( yells) and argues with customers. He has raised his voice to me once. Three technicians (that I can speak to firsthand) request customers bring cash tips due to history of tips made on cards " disappearing" and not making it to the technicians. Where as an occasional tardy start time is fine, the past 5 to 6 months chronically starting 10 to 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time (without an apology or offer of other accomodation for the inconvenience). I am aware anyone able to experience the pampering of a nail service is fortunate. It's a first world problem to be sure. However, people do have choices, and it makes me wonder ...If a customer is on time and has no history of being late, I do not know why that can't work both ways? I want this business to flourish and thrive. The technicians are truly wonderful. I want them to know that every tip a customer makes will end up in their hands. A customer should not be inconvenienced by having to go to the cash machine before going to the nail salon in order to feel confident that the gratuity will make it into the hands of the actual service provider. For now, my choice will be to stay (loyalty to technician ) but it won't be for long if things don't change. read more

I am new to the area and looking for my new go to place for nails. I made an appointment Saturday morning and Majestic was able to take me same day at a reasonable time. They are highly responsive over Yelp and I was grateful to get an appointment. Majestic nails is very conveniently located right next to a parking garage and so I was able to park then walk 15 feet to their location. The inside of Majestic is SUPER clean. They really care about how the inside of the salon looks. I was able to pick my colors for my nails (I needed a dip manicure and gel pedicure) and I waited about ten minutes before two girls started on my feet and hands. I'm not a big fan of having my nails and feet done at the same time because it's hard for me to relax, but Cindy and Linda took their time and made sure my nails were shaped and painted right. My pedicure was OK as far as the massage, soaking etc. It didn't FEEL luxurious or pampering, but Linda made my toes look beautiful. They were shapped and cut well so overall I was happy. I am impressed that Cindy was able to give me a true almond shape and the color I picked for my natural nails is prettier than I was expecting. I would definitely come back, but preferably not on a weekend since a mom brought her two eight year old girls in and they were loud and obnoxious half the time I was there. read more

Wonderful spot to get your nails done. After a bad experience at another nail salon, I turned to Yelp for a recommendation and was pointed to Majestic Nail Studio. This salon is fantastic.
