Went in for basic pedi and a full set. Pedicure was amazing, the lady took her time. When it came time for full set, when using the "power tool" thing the guy cut me on 4 different fingers and when trying to take of some glue off the skin then caused a very deep hang nail. Took too long, sat down and started nail removal at 4:15 didn't leave until 5:45 so definitely won't come here again. My normal salon is an hour tops but I was in a pinch and couldn't make it in. At the end, my SNS gel top coat had to be re-done because the lady sprayed alcohol on them (not sure why??) which kept me even longer. The top coat ended up smudging after I left even after being "dry". I was so over the place that I just went back home and applied my own top coat. The nails look fine now but it was the process that was poor. If you're looking for good quality paired with efficiency, probably not where I'd recommend going.. read more

Ended up at MD the night before my birthday when I had spent too much time shopping and was finding out all the nail shops in close radius to Alderwood Mall were about to close (7:30). I went into one shop at 7:00 to ask if it was too late for a shellac, and was turned away. I frantically searched on Yelp to find a shop that closed a little later and found MD. I hurried over near Edmonds as fast as I could. I ended up at the shop around 7:20 and asked if it was too late for a shellac. Brenda, the technician who worked on my nails, said it was not a problem and had me sit down. She was friendly and talkative and ended up staying just a little later than their closing time. I really appreciated it, and tipped accordingly. It seemed as though their prices were on par with other shops. I also was grateful she didn't beat up my hands during the process of my manicure/shellac -- something I'm way too used to. The shellac lasted quite a while which is surprising since I can be pretty tough on my nails. I am looking forward to returning soon to switch up the color! The strip mall that the shop is in looks a little sketchy and rundown, and the shop isn't the most glamorous that I've come across, but my nails look and feel good. My fiancé and I made appointments the other day at 5pm for me to get a polish change on my toes and polish removal. My fiancé had pedicure & manicure no polish. The lady who did the polish change didn't speak a single word; and I mean not one word. After my toes were done, I sat there for 15 mins while 3 employees sat around on theirs phones and talking amongst each other. I asked politely if I can get my polish removal on my fingers. A different lady then the one who polished my toes gets up doesn't say anything either... Grabs a cotton and saturates it with acetone and hands it to me to remove my own polish and sits back down. "People come to the nail salon to get pampered" The 3rd lady who is finishing up the manicure on my fiancé seemed irritated that the employee wasn't doing her job. And checks my fingers and started finishing up my polish removal for me. We will never come back. Worst customer service I've experienced at a nail salon. Plus they charged $10 for a polish change, no filing, no clipping, no buffering, and there was polish on my skin on multiple toes, it was done sloppy... Most salons charge $6 for a great job. read more

I love this place!! I drive the extra ten minutes to get here just because I like it so much. All of the staff are super nice and make sure that you like what they're doing! There's a young girl (early 20's) who does a great pedicure and painted cute snowflakes with a gem on my big toes! She was so nice and great to talk to. The first time I went here there was a miscommunication that I wanted shellac and got regular nail polish of some sort. So the paint didn't last that long, but I went back in and they fixed it right away with no charge or anything and apologized. It was great customer service! DON'T GO HERE!!! The new owners don't know what they are doing. They messed up my real nails under my acrylic nails by grinding down so far they hit tissue. They messed it up to the point where I cannot get acrylics put back on till my nails grow out. They hurt me severely and caused fungus growth. I came here last minute for my first visit and they did a fantastic job. They got me in fast and they were very polite and accommodating. My eyebrows looked fantastic! I also got an acrylic fill and the job was okay. He made them the exact shape I wanted but really hurt my skin while doing so. He filed into my skin numerous times and even made me bleed. I left happy overall but 4 days later my nail fell completely off. They let me get it fixed for free but the nail technician repainted over ALL of the nails, not just the broken one, which created bubbles on every nail. I tried to ignore this and still planned returning, however, two different nails have broken since this point and it has been a little over a week. Definitely not coming back. read more

Came back 3 days ago for a regular manicure and pedicure. Had to wait for a little bit this time but I did not mind it since all the employees were very nice and accommodating. I was very surprised though that after 2 days, both my manicure and pedicure were showing cracks and bubbles! Most of the paint are starting to come off. I'm very disappointed.
