I was really disappointed when I got home and saw this huge spot missing in my left eyebrow. I didn't notice it at the shop because I just did a quick glance as I felt a little self conscious. I usually maintain my brows at home, which I will continue to do. Instead of immediately writing a negative review, I went right back to the shop in the hopes of an apology and a refund. It's a small shop and both of the ladies were free when I went back in, I assume it's the owner and her daughter, her daughter did my brows. I showed them both the bald patch and they denied that it was a mistake. No apology. They tried to say that she just trimmed the hair at an angle and that I have to comb it a certain way. Yes, she trimmed too much, clearly a mistake. I was also told I would not get a refund because it is not a product I bought. I calmly stated that this was a service I paid for, I did not pay to have a bald patch in my brows. I got $6 out of the $12 dollars back. 3 weeks later I still have the patch. This was the worst experience ever. I called ahead because I couldn't wait long and she told me to come at 5 and she only had one person after arriving there were 4 people ahead of me and she told me I could go before since I called then let the other women all go first. When she started threading my eyebrows not only did she not ask how I wanted anything before just ripping off my eyebrows are COMPLETELY different. It truly was like she didn't even compare the two. Not to mention she has charged me a different price the last two times I've come here. Will not be returning. I've gone to this salon before with my eyebrows and had good experiences until now. I made an appointment for a couple days ago (Friday) at 5pm. I showed up 5 minutes early to my appointment, and she was still working with another client, explaining to me that they showed up late and she just needs 10-15 minutes for me to wait in my car. I sit in my car until 5:15, and I come back, only to hear her say she needs 5-10 more minutes. I sit in my car again until 5:25, and I come back, and she just looks at me through the door window, and continues with her client without telling me anything or gesturing me to come in. I wasn't just going to wait outside in the cold weather for her to tell me to wait in my car again, so I left. It was already over 25 minutes past my appointment time, and I didn't know when she was actually gonna be done with her previous client, so I started driving home. 2 minutes after I left (5:27), she calls me asking if I could come back right now or reschedule. I told her I couldn't make it the rest of the day, so I just wanted to reschedule. We agreed on Sunday at 10am so I would be her first client of the day, hoping that I wouldn't be delayed again. So it's Sunday today, I show up at the salon 5 minutes early again, and all the lights were off and she wasn't there. I go back to my car for a couple more minutes, and check back on the salon at 10:02, and she still wasn't there! As I was knocking on the salon door to see if anyone would respond, she calls me and tells me that she was running late and would be here in 10 minutes. I sit in my car again for 10-15 minutes, and check on the salon at 10:15, and she still wasn't there. I ended up leaving again. She texted me by the time I was already home at 10:27 (it's always 27 minutes after my appointment time... smh) saying that she just arrived at the salon. I shouldn't have to wait over 15 minutes for an appointment. I understand it wasn't her fault that they showed up late, but usually (in all other salons I go to) if clients come late, she should explain to them that they may not be serviced because it causes a ripple effect on her appointments after. I won't be coming back to this salon any further. read more

I definitely do NOT recommend this threading salon. I was coming here for several months when the owner's niece Anisha was doing the threading and she did an amazing job. The people since have not been as good. The worst part is I bought a membership. I advise you not to buy a membership. I went today to get my eyebrows threaded at 4:30. The owner was there but said she had not eaten and needed to eat so could I come back in 15 minutes. I said okay and went and sat in my car. 30 minutes later, she was still not there. I called and she said she was driving back. I wasted almost 40 minutes waiting when I had an event I had to go to. I will not be going back and now I've lost my money. Hopefully , they will refund me but I doubt it, since I spent a lot for the membership. Shanti Threading Salon has much better customer service in my opinion, so I will be going there from now on. read more

I love this place! I used to get waxing done for facial hair but my skin became too sensitive so I started getting threading done. It's so much better than waxing! It doesn't leave a shiny spot on the skin like waxing does. It's so much better for your skin than waxing. Waxing can cause damage to the skin and threading does not. I think it's much more comfortable than waxing. This place does a wonderful job. And I love how fast it is! Plus, when I'm done I can go do other things without having to let the redness from waxing go down. I don't know why everyone doesn't switch to threading! It's the best! Wow Ms. Bimu did a great job!! I was afraid to get my eyebrows threaded because I tried it once in Texas and it hurt so bad. So I popped a couple ibuprofens and headed over to Preesha on a whim. I'm so glad I did! I told Bimu what I wanted and she did exactly that. And It hurt no more than if I plucked my own so that was a pleasant surprise. She also did my upper lip which I had never done before and she guided me through it, I'm glad I had it done. After the threading she applied a soothing aloe liquid which calmed my skin. I almost asked her to do my whole face! She was really nice and has a good aura about her. Visit Preesha, ask for Bimu, she was gentle and very effective. The youngest employee (I'm so sorry I forgot her name) is awesome! She took me in right away. The cost is more than fair. I've never done threading before until now. Boy...I'm never going back to tweezing or waxing. She shaped, framed and aligned my brows perfectly. There are some spots I got a little too pluck happy. She said to get the brows I want I need to let these areas grow out. I really appreciate her honesty - she asked if I wanted to do my upper lip since she could see the hairs. I gladly accepted given this is something I am self-conscious about. I am so pleased with the end results. I signed up for the plan where she takes care of my brows and lip for the next 3 months which is a much better deal than paying for a single appointment every visit. I made the mistake of trying this place because I was nearby. They left my naturally thick brows really thin and looking quite horrible then tried to convince me that thin brows looked better on my small face. Thanks? I've gotten threaded at Brow Arc several times before and they've managed to give my brows the shape I like without removing so much hair and without me having to explain that I like to keep the natural fullness of my brows. The women were very friendly and apologetic about it so ultimately I think it was my fault for not being more clear about not wanting horribly thin and short brows. So a heads up if you do go here you have to tell them EXACTLY what you want otherwise they'll just thread and thread until it looks good to them. read more
