TY Park is a large park located in East Hollywood. It has beautiful nature trails, playgrounds, different size pavilions for party rentals, picnic tables and public restrooms. Some of the pavilions include barbecue grills. They also have RV stay rental locations, which is pretty cool cause I believe the parking provides a woodsy nature vibe. They are also home to pretty big waterpark called Castaway Island, perfect to get away from summer. We went for a birthday party and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There was enough space to hold multiple games, such as a three legged race, potato sack race, and the egg spoon race. There was also enough room to use a bounce house right next to the pavilion.

Went here today to relax, very tranquil place to park and chill. Volleyball and basketball are open to play if games in progress. FREE TO ENTER TODAY.

TY Park is a great community resource. Filled with huge trees, a beautiful lake, and wide open spaces, this park is a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of South Florida. There is a wide paved path that loops around the park for walking, running, and cycling. My husband and I have used the basketball courts and tennis courts, both well paved and maintained. There is also a covered workout area with tons of machines so you can get your strength on outdoors. Other amenities include a huge playground, an RV park, and a water park!! TY park has so much to offer and you should definitely check it out if you live in the area.

Feel the burn, the calorie burn! I truly enjoy this park for the opportunity it provides for an amazing exercise work out. There is a beautiful 2.0 mile trail that you are able to run, bike or walk on. You are sure to see the iguanas sun-bathing, hear the birds chirping and the squirrels playing with one another! Huge trees, also intermittently line this trail which provides so much shade as you exercise. TY park is a delightful experience with lots to do! For example, you could enjoy the water park, have a picnic, celebrate a birthday, exercise, play tennis, volley ball or just simply sit, gaze and meditate. There is also an small RV Park located on the park grounds as well! Don't hesitate put on those sneakers and get in your exercise for the day!

This is one of my favorite parts. I like this park because of the trees here. They are big and old. The type of trees that are so wide you can't wrap your hand around them They are beautiful to look at. The park has nice walking trails they are mostly shady. They take you around the lake near the water park, the camping area, the exercise station, and the children's playground. It's a nice walk. The park has nice playgrounds one large one and a few smaller ones around the pavilions. The larger ones are covered. They are all well-taken care of. This park always has something going on. It has events, hayrides festivals, and classes. I like to check online every so often on the future activities this place has going. There is plenty of parking. This is a dog-friendly park. The park is well kept and a beautiful park to visit.

This was a nice water park with many options for different age groups and enough parking. Loved the fact that we could bring our own food and drinks, sat in the shade next to the pool and enjoyed our time there. Not expensive for what it is.

T.Y Park is located on Sheridan St right before the bridge that leads to I-95 if you're heading towards Hollywood beach. I've passed by this park many times but recently decided it was a great place for a Saturday morning run with my best gal. Like many Broward Parks, you have an entrance fee on weekends which I believe is $1.50 per person. This park has a trail that circles the park which is great for a jog, walk, or run. There are markers to let you know when you've reached 1/4 of a mile which is helpful! Near the front, there is a mini misting station which comes in handy in south Florida summer heat! There are pavilions that you can host parties at for birthdays, gender reveals, etc. They even have an area for RVs and camping which I didn't know about! If you're looking for a picnic in the park, you can find benches and picnic tables scattered throughout it under shady trees. There's a huge lake in the middle with a gazebo that is currently closed. A nice park to visit if you're in the Hollywood area.

Lovely park. Lots of trees, lots of parking, public restrooms, RV parking, sidewalks, pond, aqua center...i mean, it's absolutely lovely. I highly recommend this park. It's pet friendly. I see many people having picnics, relaxing, walking, working out. I haven't found a reason to not like this park. The bathrooms are decent, and always have privacy and tissue. I haven't utilized much of the amenities, like the pool or aquatic center, weekend events, or anything. But we really enjoy coming for our weekly PE class w/ Saints. So much to check out and explore, I can see spending a whole day here.

Wow, what a park, it offers everything. It has a rv camp site, a water park, a huge lake, a running, walking path all around it just over 2 miles, plenty of open spaces to run around, picnic stations and zones, benches, a kids play area, tennis courts, a fishing area, and a basket ball court. Loads of gorgeous trees, squirrels, ducks and birds. Did not see any alligators or snakes! Lots of bbq stations, lovely to see families meeting up. Great place to host a celebration, photo ops etc. We saw a few baby showers and birthday celebrations. A true gem, come and check it out, you will not be disappointed. To be noted it was v.v.clean, pristine and plenty of bins/ trash cans. Plenty of parking.

As I was crossing the bridge between the two parks I spotted 4 manatees in the canal below. I have never spotted them in a park before so I had a great experience watching them swim and eat. You still have to pay for parking. I recommend the parking lot next door. The Pirate Park Playground was built by Superior Playgrounds who was tasked with designing a one-of-a-kind pirate theme play space to spark creative play and provide a safe place for budding buccaneers to play. The playground is made of recycled material like milk jugs and was created to be corrosion resistant so that it would always look good in this salt water coastal ecosystem. Located only 100 feet from the beach, the playground is fenced in for safety. There is a large pirate ship for older children to climb on and slide down and a smaller area for younger privateers. The crows nest with rigging looked especially fun to climb. Other playground play structures include clownfish and blue tang fish spring riders, a custom octopus playhouse, and palm tree shade. There are four triangle sail shades and poured-in-place safety surfacing to protect little knees and bottoms. Bathrooms are nearby. During my visit the playground was filled with kids and their families enjoying the nautical theme. This unique play space fosters imagination and physical movement for the youngest North Beach residents and visitors.

In 2005 City Park was changed to honor Peter Bluesten who was the founder and publisher of the Hallandale Digest. Mr. Bluesten was a WWII veteran who moved to Hallandale from New Jersey in 1946 and he founded the paper in 1963. He took the paper from a one sheet advertisement to a widely read and respected paper that chronicled the history and growth of the city. It was a hometown paper that the community relied on. Mr, Bluesten was very involved with youth sports in the city. He passed away in 1996. The park was redesigned by Craven Thompson & Associates Inc. and the remodeled 16.5 acre Peter Bluesten Park opened to the public on September 28, 2019. One of the highlights is the park's Aquatics Center which has a 25-meter by 25-yard competition style pool with eight lane short course section for high school swim competitions and recreational interactive water features. The pool was designed to meet all of the requirements for USA Swimming. The multipurpose main pool has a large learn-to-swim area, a dedicated water aerobics area, and a beach entry. Both pools are design-built concrete pools with deck level overflow gutter systems. There is also a 1,800 sq. ft water playground with an elevated play structure, which includes multiple decks, slides, rain buckets, water cannons, dancing floor jets and water curtains. Other park amenities include The Hallandale Beach YMCA, an artificial Safeshell turf soccer field, three baseball fields, concession stand, outdoor stage, playground, tennis, basketball, bankshot basketball, racquetball, walking path, and support buildings. The city uses the park for a number of events like their annual Easter Egg Hunt and Movies Under the Stars. If there is one small drawback to Peter Bluesten Park it is that it does not have a parking lot. You have to pay by app and park on the street. Other that that this is a really amazing park with something for everyone to enjoy.
