So this was not a good experience at all... We were visiting friends and family, and found this place to have dinner. The Yelp reviews were decent, so I figured 'why not?' It looks quaint, not flashy, and casual from the outside. Inside it quickly becomes obvious that this is a place that does much more delivery and pickup than in-person dining. My daughter (who lives in NYC) agreed to meet us there. She was skeptical, feeling like we should not have gone there, but she agreed for my sake. I should have listened to my daughter Strike One: we ordered drinks, and I was handed a can of soda, and a decidedly dirty glass... Strike Two: when our apps came, several of the pieces of the tasteless lukewarm calamari were being held tightly together by the hair that as fried along with them. It literally looked like a strand of calamari beads. To their credit, they were apologetic, and prepared a fresh order that was equally taste-free. Strike Three: Pad Thai that was so sweet that it could not be finished. I even tried picking out the meat to salvage that. Nope. I doubt that we will be in Hoboken again anytime in the near future, but if we are this is one place that we will not make the error of frequenting again.

Beef Red Curry with pineapple added

The service was great - the hostess answered my questions well. The vibes are quiet and we got to seated immediately. For apps, we got the steamed Thai dumplings and curry puffs - highly recommend. I got the red curry with beef and added pineapple to it...and also asked for it to be Thai spicy. They did not disappoint at all! The portions are great and the food is very tasty.

Favorite Thai place in the area!! Their portions for every dish are huge, and the ingredients are always fresh. Such great prices, and they have a lunch deal too. My favorites are the pad thai and the glass noodle dish. Their curry is amazing too. The staff are always very friendly, and it hasn't ever been too crowded the few times I went. The restaurant is quiet, great for personal conversation.

Tom Yum Noodle Soup (with chicken)

Walked in by myself on a Sunday afternoon. There was one table of two men when I got there. No one else came in while I was dining (except my friend who joined me later). The servers were nice and very prompt. They seated me, provided a menu and came back after about a minute to take my order. My server paid attention to my experience which I appreciated. She grabbed chopsticks when she saw I had some difficulty eating the noodle soup with a fork. I heard the staff speaking another language though I'm not sure if it was Thai. 3/5 Green papaya salad - sauce had a very strong flavor to the point that I worried how much sodium I was ingesting. The ingredients were fresh and the salad was refreshing. 4/5 Tom Yum noodle soup (with chicken) - the broth was oily but tasty. There's a strong taste of lemongrass and lime as well as spice. The soup mainly had chicken, noodles (lots of it), and green onions. Not many ingredients which was disappointing. I am used to Tom Yum soup that has mushrooms, onions, and other veggies in it. Their broth is better than other places though, seemed more authentic and flavorful than many places I've tried in NYC. Just wish it was a little more nutritious. I think the 3-4 star rating on Yelp is pretty accurate. I'd give this a 3.7. Effort was definitely there with the food but lacked a little. Service was quite good and the interior was comfortable and clean. I appreciated the decor and painted walls. If I was back in this area I'd be open to giving this place a second shot.

I've been going to this restaurant for years, and they've never failed me. Their food is fantastic; always fresh & made from natural ingredients to deliver healthy Asian cuisine. I usually order the fried calamari with a salmon that includes an orange salad. It's a perfect amount to be full, and not leave anything left over. If you have peanut allergies, be wary, because they state that they are not peanut free. Fortunately, they do encourage guests to inform them of any changes that need to be made to accommodate their health. The customer service is warm & friendly, however, their establishment is small compared to most places. It's common to have employees from food delivery services stopping by to pick up things for their own customers; this can be a bit bothersome to people trying to eat. This place is best for an outing with a friend or two, not a huge party. Regardless, T Thai sells consistently great food, so you can be assured that you can stop by and have a meal that's filling and good for you.

Thai Steamed Thai Dumplings

Tiny Thai restaurant next to Belo Bar. I took out: - 4 pc Thai steamed dumplings ($7) for free with a Hungry Panda promo. The dumplings were shaped like shumai and were dense. The sauce they provided was sweet and complemented the dumplings well. I poured the sauce into the dumplings, and the filling absorbed the sauce well. I'd get this again and try something else

Nice little hidden gem! Off the main drag of Washington on Hudson. I highly recommend the som tom! The sauce is very fresh and the peanuts are ground and distributed evenly throughout. Chicken skewers were spiced with turmeric and very tasty! My favorite is that they have Birds Eye chili powder so I can spice it up to my desired level - Thai hot! Check this spot out! Tida is friendly and knowledgeable server! Thank you!

Veg penang curry

Simple place, tasty food and service with a smile. Hostess Teeda (I hope i got her name rt) is a bubbly person!!! We tried veg penang curry, veg pad thai and chillipaste+basil veggies. Everything was good, but the curry was our fav. Teeda was very clear to mention that most dishes had fish sauce in them. We went ahead and tried it anyways. Just the chilli-basil dish had a fishy after taste. Nothing fancy, but perfect place for tasty hot meal after a long day!

Kind of an average thai spot, portions are decent, but the chicken fried rice was extremely bland. Nice interior and nice staff though.

Ordered 2 pad thais and dumplings, threw everything away. Smelled like dogs and we couldn't get over it. Absolutely never again.

Fantastic green chicken curry. And mango salad. Always fresh and always hits the spot with fluffy rice and spicy hot kick.

This is an excellent restaurant to go to for Thai cuisine. We went after watching a Broadway show…read more And made reservations for 4 people for 9pm. We were seated promptly , then given our customary beverage orders (Thai iced tea, of course). And while mulling over the menu with excellent choices , our server Salina suggested certain items for dinner. Her recommendations were spot on. We tried the papaya salad, soft shell crab, deboned duck, crispy pork with noodles. And the crispy branzino... everything was devoured quickly!! The dishes were full of flavor, but some were lacking in spiciness(our request really since we had a friend who could not tolerate spices). The post-meal dessert was very good as well. We had a wonderful time dining, and the service was top-notch. Thanks, Salina...!!!

I came with few coworkers for Friday lunch. The place was packed, we initially got a 10 minute wait…read moretime but they got us a table within couple of minutes. The interior was super nice, with very nice decors hung all around the restaurant. They had two floors, especially second floor was massive, so they were able to sit a lot guests. They had the both regular, lunch special and drinks menu. I ordered the crab fried rice dish from lunch menu. It came with a salad bowl. The salad just had lettuce and cherry tomatoes, mixed with some delicious dressing. The crab fried rice came with some cucumbers and two sauces. The sauces had such spicy kick, they enhanced the flavor of the rice and crab so much. They were excellent dipping sauce for the cucumbers too. Just loved the whole dish. Being lunch special, the portion was small, so I was sad when the plate was empty but I was still craving for more. For $32, I feel they could have served a bit more. But other lunch menu dishes were mostly around $18. The service was excellent. Several staff members constantly walked around the floor like Marshals, takings ordering, serving dishes, refilling water, taking out empty dishes, and doing checkouts right on the spot. After guests left, they were turning over the empty tables super quickly. No wonder we a table in such short time. Since it's so close to my work place, I'll be back here soon for sure to try other dishes.
